Has Francis Found a New Smurf for the CDF?

@Salvatore Bastatti -Did you know that before the VAtican II garbage came out, Gethsemane Abbey in Kentuc(d.1948), for many years, and under him the place really grew and founded many new abbies across the USA. Of course, Gethsemane also had Thomas Merton, who right before his 1968 death was revealing himself to be not only a radical dissenting liberal, but I also read, a person who in the mid-late 1960's had sexual relationship with a woman.
After VAtican II, Gethsemane collapsed, as did the entire Trappist Order, going radical with discarding of the Roman Rite, monastic disiplines, tonsure, Latin. And St. Joseph Abbey in Spencer, Ma. was well known for years as a place of Buddhist meditations/devotions as well as Catholic. Before Vatican II, the Trappists had close to 6,000 monks. Today, it's about 1,400 with a median age of about 80. Before Vatican II, there were 12 Trappist abbies in the USA. Now there are 10, with Gethsemane having about 40 monks, Spencer about 35, and the rest at 20 or below. VERY sad, because the Trappist Order was once flourishing, and one of the best in the Church.

Sorry-must have had a computer error. My comment regarding the late,great Trappist Abbott Dom Frederick Dunne was wiped out at the beginning of the post. (d. 1948) refers to him. But he was abbot from about 1935-48, and Gethsemane really grew under him, as a place of great holiness. He founded New Melleray,Conyers,Guadalupe,Mepkin,Genessee,Vina,Snowmass all from huge infuxes of vocations to Gethsemane from about 1938-48. He was a very respected priest and religious leader in the USA...even by Protestant clergy of the time!

@John Fritz Logan --Thank you for your comment/advice. I've had it with Bergoglio. The SOB seems determined to destroy the Catholic Faith, he and his people. And he actually praised homosexuals and transvestites to seminarians (who left the audience saying that the Pope is vulgar). Geez, took them long enough to figure that out. The Sankt Gallen Mafia knew what they were doing when they forced Benedict XVI out and put in Bergoglio. If this scum does succeed Ladaria, Francis will have revealed his hand as TOTALLY being in agreement with the Germans, and their "Synodal Way", and gays and TRANS and transvestites, etc.
He also told the seminarians that in confession, priests should forgive everything....even for people have no intention of repenting.
Who needs a "church" like that? I hope it collapses.
USA dioceses are starting to be supressed (Steubenville, Ohio) because of declining Catholics. I wish there was a movement among faithful Catholics to promote Catholics to leave the Bergoglio "church" and go to the SSPX, or to encourage good seminarians to quit their seminaries and go to Roman Rite seminaries and monasteries.
Too bad that there are people still too stupid to consider Bergoglio "The Holy Father", and still go to his audience, and stand in the cold on Sundays to hear his "Angelus blessing"
He truely is of the devil, and so is this guy if he gets that post. Might as well just supress the CDF with him, because his attitude is "anything goes".
I probably won't convert to the Greek Orthodox like my cousin, but I never go to Mass...unless the Roman Rite....and unfortunatly I'm not driving 25+ miles every Sunday to Mass (nearest to home)

@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori I have had it with Bergoglio since Amoris Laetitia. Obviously an anti-pope cannot invalidate the papacy.

That his supposed vile comments were apparently censored by Vaticannews is quite telling.

I hope the anti-church collapses as well. The enemies of Christ's Church want to both destroy her and replace her with the anti-church.

More and more Catholic laity, seminarians and priesats are leaving for the SSPX and converts are going there. Others are rallying around bishops like Archbishop Cordileone.

Glad you like won't embrace the Greek schism. Hope you can convince your cousin to return to Christ's Catholic Church and maybe attend the SSPX. I will pray for you both.
