Ale toto mi pripadá ako ďalší krok do zmätku - akési rozmaznávanie LGBT skupín v Cirkvi, ktoré už nemôže trvať dlho. Buď jasne potvrdíme, že naším cieľom je pomáhať ľuďom žiť kresťanský život aj s homosexuálnou príťažlivosťou, alebo to neurobíme. A ak to neurobíme, máme vážne problémy."
Father Gerald Murray: "Fiducia supplicans is a bad document. It needs to be withdrawn, and it's caused immense controversy in the church. We just had the bishops in Africa, you know, discussing this matter again. It is an imposition of life for the church that Pope Francis gave when he did something never done in the history of the world, which is to say that the Catholic church considers two people who engage in homosexual activity to be a couple and that they can be blessed as a couple. This has to end."
