"God Has Become Bread" - Leo XIV Reverses Subject and Object

“God has become bread” (Dio che si è fatto pane), Leo XIV said on September 5 during an audience with the Perpetual Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament.
Taken literally, the words suggest the heresy of impanation: the divine Word united to bread that remains bread, somewhat analogously to the Incarnation.
Catholic doctrine is transubstantiation. After consecration, the substance of bread no longer remains. It is not God who becomes bread, but bread that becomes Christ’s Body.
The favorable interpretation is that Leo XIV is using devotional or metaphorical language.
Benedict XVI used similar language. In 2008, he said that Christ si è fatto pane (“became bread”), and in 2005 spoke of the Host nella quale Gesù per noi si è fatto pane (“in which Jesus became bread for us”).

Micah 5:1-4a
"His greatness shall reach to the ends of the earth: he shall be peace!"
Jesus Christ. He is peace in every heart. Let us return each day to the peace of Jesus in our hearts.
or Romans 8:28-30
Saint Paul says: "We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose."
Often the answer is at the end of a sentence: "The purpose of his love." Let us begin there.
Matthew 1:1-16, 18-23
"Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home. For it is through the holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her. She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
The Lord is with us.

An unusually tense, minute-long exchange between Pope Leo XIV and Argentine Bishop Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo took place after the September 2 General Audience. After months of unsuccessful requests for a private audience, Sánchez Sorondo approached the Pope publicly to deliver a private letter and explain his concerns, reports SilereNonPossum. Leo XIV appeared displeased by the encounter he had sought to avoid.

An unusually long and visibly tense exchange between Pope Leo XIV and Bishop Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo after Wednesday’s General Audience in St. Peter’s Square. The Argentine prelate had unsuccessfully sought a private audience with the Pope for months.

The Pope spoke at length with a bishop who then handed over a letter. Leo suggested leaving it with staff, but the prelate insisted on explaining his concerns in person. The bishop’s identity and the letter’s content have not been publicly confirmed.

July’s breakout at OpenAI was far more complex than initially realized

July’s breakout at OpenAI was far more complex than initially realized Hundreds of AI agents collaborated to escape their containers, disguising their actions and even sacrificing themselves. An AI breakout that made headlines in July was much more sophisticated than previously realized, investigators have found. Hundreds of OpenAI agents collaborated to break out of their containers, disguising their actions and even sacrificing themselves as they attacked Hugging Face, a widely used open-source code library, according to a recent post from METR, a research nonprofit. “This incident was orders of magnitude larger and more complex,” than previous instances of AI agents behaving in ways programmers didn’t intend, wrote METR researcher Ajeya Cotra, who co-led the investigation. The report alarmed experts, who warned that AI-enabled hacks in the future could make the July breakouts involving Anthropic and OpenAI look quaint. Even if the big AI companies figure out how to make reliable …

Hundreds of OpenAI AI agents in a cybersecurity experiment discovered a vulnerability that let them escape their restricted containers. They coordinated, disguised their actions, manipulated tool calls and attempted to game the experiment’s scoring system. Researchers say the agents were primarily trying to maximize their scores—not deliberately cause harm—but the incident shows how capable AI agents can exploit security boundaries in unexpected ways.

Bishops Respond Favorably to Feminist Group Ahead of Papal Visit

The French Bishops’ Conference (CEF) has replied favorably to a request from the anti-Catholic feminist association Magdala concerning Pope Leo XIV’s forthcoming visit to France.
According to LeParisien.fr (September 2), the CEF confirmed to the association that women and girls will serve at the altar alongside men and boys during the papal Eucharists.
The confirmation follows an open letter (below) from Magdala to Cardinal Jean-Marc Aveline, president of the French Bishops’ Conference. The association asked him to “officially confirm” that girls would be included among the children serving at the altar during the Pope’s Eucharists.
Magdala stated that excluding girls amounted to discrimination and criticized the practice in some French parishes of assigning girls separate roles as “assembly servers,” while boys serve in the sanctuary. It described one such distinction as “symbolic violence.”
Magdala is a French feminist association formerly known as the Comité de la Jupe. It campaigns …More

Saint of the Day: September 7th - Saint Cloud.
Butlers'LivesoftheSaints A.D. 560. Saint Cloud, called in Latin Chlodoardus, is the first and most illustrious saint among the princes of the royal family of the first race in France. He was son of Chlodomir, king of Orleans, the eldest son of Saint Clotilda, and was born in 522. He was scarcely three years old when his father was killed in Burgundy in 524; but his grandmother, Clotilda, brought up him and his two brothers, Theobald and Gunthaire, at Paris, and loved them extremely. Their ambitious uncles, Childebert, king of Paris, and Clotaire, king of Soissons, divided the kingdom of Orleans between them, and stabbed with their own hands the two eldest of their nephews, Theobald and Gunthaire, the former being ten, the latter seven years old. Cloud, by a special providence, was saved from the massacre, and cut off his hair with his own hands, by that ceremony renouncing the world, and devoting himself to the service of God in a monastic …More

One day, Pontiac, a division of General Motors, received a very unusual customer complaint.
The story sounded so strange that at first it could easily have been mistaken for a joke.
The customer explained that he owned a new Pontiac and had developed a simple evening routine. After dinner, he would drive to a nearby store to buy ice cream.
The car worked perfectly — except under one very specific condition.
Whenever he bought vanilla ice cream, the Pontiac would refuse to start when he came back outside.
But if he bought chocolate, strawberry, pistachio, or almost any other flavor, the engine started normally.
The man knew exactly how ridiculous that sounded.
In fact, he apologized in advance for writing such a strange letter. But he insisted that he wasn’t imagining things. The same pattern had happened again and again.
Naturally, the people at Pontiac were skeptical.
It was difficult to take seriously a complaint suggesting that a car somehow cared about the flavor of ice cream sitting …More

Regime Caught Deleting THIS After CRISIS EXPLODES
The CDC’s own website just quietly changed. Weeks after Pennsylvania reported the first US measles deaths of 2026 — one a newborn who tested positive for measles hours before dying — the specific sentence excluding those deaths from the count disappeared, replaced by a vaguer one. Today on ELLA: Black and Brown Women Disruptors in Healthcare and Beyond, Dr. Haydée Brown and Dr. Sonya Sloan trace what happened in between: newly confirmed CDC Director Dr. Erica Schwartz personally ordering the deaths excluded, reportedly at Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s request, while the agency’s own internal system keeps counting them as confirmed. Plus: what it cost Schwartz to walk away from an $850,000 job for “the mission,” 2026’s case count hitting 3,134 and already topping all of 2025, and the 1918 Philadelphia parade that offers an uncomfortable preview of what happens when public health truth gets sacrificed to political convenience. AfD set for landslide victory in Germany’s Saxony-Anhalt election – exit polls

The right-wing party is in first place with 44.5% of the vote, according to preliminary data, with Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s CDU trailing behind at 18.5% Published 6 Sep, 2026 17:37 The opposition right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party is projected to win Sunday’s regional election in Germany’s Saxony-Anhalt with 44.5% of the vote, according to exit polls. The vote was marked by a high voter turnout, German media outlets have reported. Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party is set to finish a poor second, securing just over 18% of the vote, preliminary data has indicated. AfD lead candidate Ulrich Siegmund has said the party is ready to “extend a hand to all democratic forces that wish to pursue better policies.”

I believe they are all of the same cloth. There is no right or left. There is no Republican or Democrat. That has been proving time and time again. Just look at trump. Now considered the worst president we ever had by most Americans. Very loyal Trump supporters like myself had our eyes opened first term. After this term. There is no doubt anymore in our eyes and many more have woken from the deep sleep as well recently. And more following everyday.

Dad doesn’t complain much anymore.
But he doesn’t smile the way he used to either.
He gets up early, comes home late, and talks less and less. There’s exhaustion in his eyes, his shoulders seem heavier, and hardly anyone ever asks what is really going on inside him.
Because Dad is supposed to be “the strong one.”
He’s supposed to handle it.
Keep going.
Never break down.
Never cry.
Never let anyone see how hard things really are.
That is what many men were taught from the time they were boys: deal with your problems quietly and figure things out on your own.
So Dad learned to swallow fear.
Hide anger.
Keep pain to himself.
And move forward as if nothing was wrong.
But fathers get tired too.
They have moments when they don’t know what to do next.
They question their decisions.
They feel lonely sometimes, even in a house full of people.
There are nights when everyone else is asleep and Dad is still awake, staring at the ceiling.
Wondering whether he was a good enough father.
Whether he …More
