Leo XIV Accepts an American Establishment Award

While previous popes usually avoided accepting secular awards, Leo XIV today received the 2026 Liberty Medal from the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
The Centre said it was honouring the Pope for his support of religious liberty, freedom of conscience and human dignity — all of which are ideological frameworks that are not specifically Catholic.
The National Constitution Center describes itself as a nonpartisan institution dedicated to constitutional education. In practice, it is a prominent institution within the U.S. civic establishment, regularly hosting former presidents, senior government officials, judges, military leaders, and foreign-policy figures.
In a video address from the Vatican, Leo XIV praised the United States for having “opened its own doors to successive waves of immigrants, enabling them and their children to contribute to shaping the nation's future.”

Some clarifications about a principle which seems 'too good to be true' – but is true, nonetheless.

Some clarifications about a principle which seems ‘too good to be true’ – but is true, nonetheless.
Introduction
On the 30th June, the day before the SSPX’s episcopal consecrations, I published an explanation of why heretics are unable to excommunicate – along with a translation of Causa XXIV, Quest. I, from Gratian’s Decretum, which deals with this topic.
Some of the texts which state this are as follows:
C. IV. [Audivimus] An excommunicated person cannot excommunicate another.
[Pope Alexander II writing to Bishop Valerius the Martyr]
We have heard that Henry, called Archbishop of Ravenna, has attempted to excommunicate you. But since, being excommunicated, he could not excommunicate you …More

Superior General of the FSSPX to Leo XIV following the excommunications: “these condemnations compel us to love the Holy Church even more and to meet its needs with all our strength, now more than ever. For this very reason, the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X voluntarily offers the suffering caused by these new sanctions for the good of the universal Church and of His Holiness”

This is what true Catholic combat looks like SSPX is a counter Winnipeg Statement of 1968. SSPX conscience is informed by traditional catholic teaching of the ages . Where's SSPX religious freedom to follow their conscience ?
Humanae vitae battle you used follow your conscience what about SSPX conscience???? Error has no rights we are not free to choose .Now who is in error?

I ask the same question. No one can answer or prove it. RT has vehemently condemned the restrictions and rejected the EU’s accusations, stressing that the bloc has consistently failed to point to a “a single example, a single grain of evidence” of false reporting.

EU court backs criminal prosecution for sharing RT videos

Private individuals can face criminal prosecution and even prison for sharing the broadcaster’s content online, according to a new ruling The EU’s top court has ruled that private individuals can face criminal prosecution for posting RT videos on public websites, widening the bloc’s crackdown on Russian media. The Court of Justice of the European Union issued the ruling on Thursday in a case from Germany, where three people are being prosecuted for publishing RT DE videos on a freely accessible website. The site did not charge readers and was financed only through voluntary donations. The CJEU, however, said that made no difference and ruled that all persons who are “directly or indirectly” responsible for making banned content available to the public can be treated as “operators” under EU sanctions rules. The judges argued it was irrelevant if the individuals were running a business, how long the content was available, or how widely it was spread. Under the German law cited in the …

That's why RT is blocked by these people. They fear the people will get the truth. They call it Russian propaganda or fake news. When it's they who write propaganda and who write fake news pieces. They can't show proof. Because there is none. Just ask any propagandist and they won't be able to show you one time. They will just repeat, fake news, Russian propaganda. Just like how the EU spread that Russia caused 10 wars. When asked to show proof. they have none to show. Just like Georgia they accused Russia of starting, which was debunked over and over and over again. RT is famous for telling the truth and revealing what others suppress and delete. They are more famous than several fake news outlets combined!

Nothing to but kill with the conscience of so much evil in their minds, including the killing of more than 2000 Americans on 9/11. The conscience that all they are and believed in is a hoax.

CRISIS IN THE CHURCH - A BRIEF GUIDE

Frank Wright

Why the SSPX and their faithful are excommunicated for being Catholic.
Fr Pagliarani, SSPX Superior General, gives his homily during the consecrations.
I went to Econe in Switzerland this week with my son to witness the consecration of four bishops by the SSPX, a traditional Catholic fraternity which exists to ensure that traditional Catholicism is preserved.
The Vatican has now excommunicated all the priests, religious, bishops and everyone who adheres to the SSPX - that means, people like me who go to mass and receive the sacraments in SSPX parishes.
Reports are already emerging raising issues with the excommunications, as they are said to theologically questionable and inconsistent with canon law.
The Society of St Pius X and its faithful have been excommunicated by the Vatican for being too Catholic.

FSSPX Responds: Excommunications "Unjust and Invalid"

Today, Don Davide Pagliarani, Superior of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX), responded to the 2 July decree of excommunication. It "once again highlights the deeply tragic situation facing the universal Church."
He claims that the FSSPX's actions are motivated solely by the desire to save souls and insists that the Fraternity does not seek to replace the Church, but to remain faithful to her.
Using the biblical imagery of asking for bread, fish, and an egg (cf. Luke 11:11–13), he says the Fraternity's requests were met with rejection, symbolised by receiving a stone, serpent, and scorpion.
According to Pagliarani, the FSSPX had asked to be instructed and confirmed in "the faith of all time", yet was instead declared schismatic for a second time.
His central statement is this: "The FSSPX promises You today that it will not receive these new sanctions - objectively unjust and invalid - with bitterness or revolt."
Don Pagliarani concludes by expressing confidence that one …More

Rome and the pope represent the New Church which is a Synodal Church. This is a contradiction to the true Church as founded by Apostolic tradition. Synodalism started by Bergoglio and being implemented by Prevost is NOT the Catholic Church therefore any order ie SSPX which adheres to the true Church cannot be excommunicated by this group.

"Reconciliation": FSSPX Priests Must Accept “Legitimacy of Novus Ordo”

The Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith published today the procedure for the “reconciliation” with the Vatican of former clergy of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX), together with a separate procedure for lay faithful. (Full Italian document below).
The procedure, effective July 1, 2026, provides that a priest who has decided to leave the FSSPX must be willing to accept the Second Vatican Council and the “legitimacy of the Novus Ordo Missae,” while remaining attached to the usus antiquior (traditional Roman rite).
The priest must:
- Find an Ordinary (a diocesan bishop, a major superior of a clerical pontifical institute of consecrated life, a clerical pontifical society of apostolic life, etc.) who is willing to receive him ad experimentum.
- Write, in his own hand, a letter to the Holy Father introducing himself and requesting the remission of the censures incurred either because he received priestly ordination from an excommunicated or otherwise canonically irregular …More

Bishop Defends Football Screening in Church: Bishop Jean-Louis de Metz-Noblat of Verdun, France, defended in a July 1 video the decision to broadcast the France–Norway football match inside the church of Ligny-en-Barrois. "There were undoubtedly a few cheers, a song of celebration, and some applause, just as happens when a concert is held in a church or when an exhibition takes place in a church. Some people have said to me, 'But a church is a place for prayer.' I dare to hope that, because they were in the church, a number of people were able to pray for the success of their favorite team. I also dare to hope that, by entering a church, some of them discovered a place where perhaps they had never set foot before."

"Rien d'injurieux" : Après la diffusion de France-Norvège dans l’église de Ligny-en-Barrois, l'évéque de Verdun persiste et signe - Dans une vidéo de plus de trois minutes , Monseigneur de Metz-Noblat assume pleinement cette décision et entreprend d'en démontrer le bien-fondé, allant jusqu'à manier une certaine ironie à l'égard des fidèles scandalisés
