Head of Spanish Bishops' Conference calls out 'tragedy of 73 million abortions' each year - LifeSite

MADRID (LifeSiteNews) — The president of the Spanish Bishops’ Conference has called out the “tragedy of 73 million abortions” carried out every year worldwide.
In his address at the 128th Plenary Assembly of the Spanish bishops in Madrid, Luis Javier Argüello García, Archbishop of Valladolid, spoke about how abortion is being swept under the rug by secular society, and pro-lifers are being marginalized.
“Anyone who publicly declares that abortion is objectively immoral because it ends the life of a human being other than the parents risks harsh personal, social, and political condemnation: ‘Questioning this achievement? Doubting this right? That is the height of fascist and authoritarian thinking and deserves to be immediately labeled as right-wing extremism,’” Argüello said.
“Providing information to pregnant women is considered abuse, and praying outside an abortion clinic is considered a threat.” “Why this refusal to think rationally and let science – DNA, genomics, ultrasound …

Bishop Mutsaerts: The Problem Lies With Tucho, Not the Co-Redemptrix

On 16 November, Dutch Bishop Rob Mutsaerts wrote on his blog VitaminExp.blogspot.com that Cardinal Tucho Fernández has caused confusion regarding the Marian title Co-Redemptrix. Main points.
- There is no truth that cannot be misunderstood.
- Cardinal Fernández is mistaken to claim that it is no longer advisable to use the title 'Co-Redemptrix' for Mary.
- If he is concerned that people will equate Mary with Christ, the problem lies with him, not Mary.
- Christ’s position is so absolute that it is nonsensical to imagine anyone overshadowing him. Cooperation does not imply rivalry.
- The fact that Mary cooperated in our redemption is not a human invention. It stems from God's decision to work through human mediation.
- Every step in salvation history demonstrates that God acts through humanity, not despite it.
- The Church refers to Mary as the Co-Redemptrix — a term not used lightly or rarely by saints and popes — meaning that she was involved in what Christ accomplished in a unique way. …More

I believe in the Biblical and Catholic Blessed Virgin Mary but not the apparition at Fatima. First reason is that Russia would legalize abortion in the next three years and the apparition never warned the world about abortion and still has not done so to this day. I find it impossible to believe the BVM would not have warned the world about 5 BILLION abortions in the next 100 years. Second, whatever the apparition said she said only to a 10-year old immature little girl. I does not seem true to me to leave the fate of the world in the hands of a little girl.

The Deadly Cost of Cancel Culture – Allah's Willing Executioners

Dabbler at the English-language Wikipedia,

Those who belittle the devastation caused by cancel culture should familiarise themselves with the case of John Wright. The 54-year-old had been teaching physics at the prestigious private boarding school Marlborough College for a decade when he suddenly found himself unemployed. Earlier this year, Wright supervised a 17-day school trip to Malaysia and Singapore. As he waited for pupils at a metro stop in Singapore, he made an offhand comment: “No gum, no gays.” This would have been a reference to the fact that gum was banned in Singapore, and homosexuality was illegal in Malaysia.
Wright’s tongue-in-cheek description of reality cost him his job. When he returned to the UK, Marlborough College launched an investigation into allegations of his supposed ‘racism’ and ‘homophobia,’ thought to be brought against the teacher by some of the pupils on the trip. Colleagues, meanwhile, praised his conduct and …

Bishop Rey: "Leo XIV Is A Prudent and Attentive Pope"

Bishop Dominique Rey, who was unjustly removed as Bishop of Fréjus-Toulon, gave an extensive interview to Tribune Chrétienne on 17 November to mark the publication of his new book. He reflects on his 25 years as bishop but denies the state of the Vatican and the Church. Main points
- We have a prudent and attentive Pope. We have seen that he authorized the Mass in the traditional rite, celebrated by Cardinal Burke at St. Peter's in Rome.
- The Church in France still carries an immense missionary potential that only needs to be released.
- Secularization compels us to leave behind a Christianity of habit and rediscover true apostolic boldness.
- Where fervent communities and committed laity arise, the spirit of John Paul II’s new evangelization remains vibrantly alive.
- The Christian faith is both inheritance and promise: fidelity to tradition must go hand in hand with openness to what the Holy Spirit inspires today.
- One must offer clear doctrinal, spiritual, ethical, and anthropological …More

Pope Leo Claims Creation is ‘Crying Out’ For Urgent Climate Action

Pope Leo XIV on Monday urged countries at United Nations climate talks to take “concrete actions” to stop climate change that is threatening the planet, telling them humans are failing in their response to global warming and that God’s creation “is crying out in floods, droughts, storms and relentless heat.”
In a video message played for religious leaders gathered in Belem, Leo said nations had made progress, “but not enough.”
“One in three people live in great vulnerability because of these climate changes,” Leo said. “To them, climate change is not a distant threat, and to ignore these people is to deny our shared humanity.”
His message came as the talks were moving into their second week, with high-level ministers from governments around the world arriving at the edge of the Brazilian Amazon to join negotiations. Monday was dominated by speeches, with several leaders from Global South nations giving emotional testimony on devastating costs of recent extreme weather and natural …

Leo XIV Backs Paris Agreement, Aligns with UN’s Agenda 2030 Framework

On 17 November, Pope Leo XIV delivered a UN propaganda video message addressed to a gathering at the Amazonian Museum in Belém, Brazil. It was an event held alongside the COP30 climate summit that is part of the broader Agenda 2030 of the United Nations.
Leo XIV described creation as "crying out in floods, droughts, storms and relentless heat".
He strongly endorsed international climate efforts, stating that the Paris Agreement "remains our strongest tool for protecting people and the planet". He insisted that the agreement itself is not the problem, but rather that "what is failing is the political will of some".
However, the 2015 Agreement has an underlying agenda of promoting abortion, contraception and sterilisation as a means of population control and reducing human consumption of the Earth's resources.
Following Leo XIV’s video message, the cardinals and bishops in attendance held up a rainbow-coloured fishing net. This net is a replica of one that was given to Pope Francis during …More

Modernism is the 'synthesis of all heresies': here's how - LifeSite

(LifeSiteNews) — Why does the Vatican teach the idols of the liberal state religion instead of Catholic doctrine – and why does our modern liberal world seem identical in its worship of these totems to a new paganism?
To answer this question I have begun a new series on my show, Pascendi Dominici Gregis, which demonstrated why “modernism is the synthesis of all heresies.”
If we understand what “modernism” is, where it came from, and what it sought to replace with itself, we can better understand the state we are in today – which is a crisis.

Man makes sign of cross to show Russian drone he is civilian (MOD VIDEO)
The Russian military has shared footage of a FPV drone steering away from a resident in a frontline village of the Ukraine conflict after he made the sign of the cross, apparently to indicate he is a civilian.
The encounter took place in Grishino, a settlement several kilometers northwest of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) in Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Defense Ministry said on Monday.
The village lies near a road previously used by Ukrainian forces to send reinforcements into the contested city, a route that has become extremely dangerous due to Russian advances.
The Defense Ministry released drone footage showing an FPV unit in
In a similar incident reported earlier this month, a drone encountered a vehicle near the village of Rubtsi, close to the Oskol River. The ministry stressed that while most cars so close to the front line are used by the Ukrainian military, this one was carrying civilians, who …

A day or so ago, Patrick Lancaster had to go in and take his Mother in law to a safer place. She was beaten by Ukraine soldiers including her husband. They think she lost her mind because she refused to leave 15 stray dogs she was caring for. I think she just doesn't want to abandon them and leave them to die alone and starving. But they finally got her to leave. Not sure what happened to the dogs though if they were taken as well or left behind.

Leo XIV Relativises Christian Genocide in Nigeria: "Christians AND Muslims Are Slaughtered"

This evening, Pope Leo XIV responded to journalists' questions outside the papal villa of Castel Gandolfo before returning to Rome.
Asked what he was doing on his day off at Castel Gandolfo, he replied: "A bit of sport, a bit of reading, a bit of work. There are correspondences and phone calls every day, some of which are urgent. And then I play a bit of tennis and swim in the pool.”
US Needs Boarders, BUT...
On the subject of immigration, Pope Leo XIV supported the US bishops:
"No one has said that the United States should have open borders. I think every country has the right to determine who enters, how and when. But when people are living good lives — many of them for 10, 15 or 20 years — and are then treated in an extremely disrespectful way, it is unfortunate that there has been some violence.
I think the bishops have been very clear in what they said, and I would like to invite everyone in the United States to listen to them."

Michelle Obama: One of America’s most pathetic people
I’m probably in a minority of one, but I’ve concluded that Michelle Obama is a pitiable woman because she is incapable of happiness. Mind you, she’s not a harmless woman, because she uses her bully pulpit to spread her misery by making other people, especially women and minorities, equally dissatisfied, paranoid, and hate-filled, but there’s still something pathetic about a woman who has everything yet still sees herself as the victim.
Michelle’s latest rant was about hair. Now, I must admit to a little fellow feeling when it comes to frustration about hair. My mother had bone-straight hair, and my father had lovely ringlets. Combine the two, and you get me, with patches of hair texture across my head: I have random clumps of ringlets, curls, waves, bone straight hair, and frizz.
In my youth, I paid either to straighten or curl it to achieve a mono-texture, but eventually I stopped. Unlike Michelle, spending endless money and having …

Not the Russians? Belgian journalists arrested allegedly with drone near airport – Allah's Willing Executioners

Arrests by Belgian police might indicate that the country’s drone scare may be less connected to Russia than initially feared.
On the afternoon of November 14, police detained two people just outside the Brussels Airport site and seized a drone.
One person was reportedly sporting a black ski-hat, wearing a black hoodie and allegedly carrying a small drone when airport police picked up him and his associate.
Neither were Russian but were identified as Belgian. They were said to be journalists in possession of a press card, the website
Drone Watch first reported on November 17.
The pair reportedly said they wanted to use the drone to take photos of the airport fence to illustrate press articles.
It has since been speculated the two journalists wanted prove it was easy to launch a drone near an airport. Yet, as there was no evidence that they had flown the drone in the vicinity, no official report was filed.
The drone, though, was nonetheless confiscated by the Federal Police Aviation (…
