Fri Dec 12, 2025 - 3:23 pm EST (LifeSiteNews) — Archbishop Georg Gänswein, the papal nuncio to Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia, during an interview released last weekend said Pope Leo XIV should end the restrictions on the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) and return to the norms of Pope Benedict XVI’s motu proprio Summorum Pontificum because it brought unity to the Church. Gänswein, during an interview that aired on December 7 with the German Catholic television network, Katholisches Fernsehen (K-TV), noted that the Tridentine Mass, which nourished the faith of the Church for centuries, cannot suddenly become invalid or invaluable now, and questioned why Pope Francis promulgated Traditionis Custodes, when the majority of bishops were satisfied with his predecessor’s motu proprio Summorum Pontificum. The former personal secretary to Pope Benedict XVI then emphasized that Summorum Pontificum was the right path to fostering liturgical peace in the Roman rite, and he hopes it will be restored …
This publicity stunt is not about Benedict's jailer Gänswein but it's there to aid Prevost in confusing remaining Catholics while he slowly but surely implements his plan of destruction of Catholic Church.
Cardinal Joseph Zen, 93, of Hong Kong, responded publicly to an article by Fr. Han Qingping concerning the “retirement” of Bishop Zhang Weizhu of the Diocese of Xinxiang and the consecration of Bishop Li Jianlin. Fr. Han’s article described the replacement of the persecuted underground bishop with the state-recognized bishop as a positive sign of improving Sino-Vatican relations. He claimed that critics of the situation - implicitly referring to Cardinal Zen - were motivated by “stupidity,” “malice,” or a “distorted personality.” “This struck a nerve with me,” Cardinal Zen replied via his personal blog on December 11: “I don’t admit to being a ‘bad person’ or having a ‘personality disorder,’ but I am indeed ‘stupid’ enough to ‘take it personally.’” Zen also responded to Fr. Han’s reference to his criticism of the Synod on Synodality. He clarified that his description of “Church suicide behavior” does not refer to the synod as a whole or to synodality in general, but …More

I watched that speech when he first made it. Than watched it one or two more times. It was a long speech. I remember in part of his speech he was talking about how one country I won't mention, and how they said that GOD was a woman. Then added But so far they are only thinking about. Then said right after that, GOD Forgive them, for they no not what they do. I cracked up over that. This speech was back in 2022 or 23. I believe.
14.12.2025 SEDEVACANTISTS MUST FORMALLY ASK WHY IS MCELROY ‘IN’ AND THEY ‘OUT’ WHEN THE COUNCIL IS TRADITIONAL How can Cardinal McElroy be a cardinal when he does not affirm Vatican Council II, the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Catechism of Pope Pius X and other Magisterial Documents, rationally and so honestly? Sedevacantists (CMRI), MHT MHFM etc) must ask at the Signatura and secular courts. Sedevacantists simply have to affirm the Council rationally and ask Pope Leo and the College of Cardinals to do the same. Why must they be kept outside the Church? They simply have to affirm the Creeds, rationally and so traditionally and tell the Vatican to do the same. They do not have to cite Bellarmine. The issue is Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Sedevacantists must legally ask how Cardinal McElroy or any cardinal can be appointed a cardinal, when the cardinal does not affirm Vatican Council II etc rationally. He should be out of the Church and not …More
This from the same man who allied himself with the mass murderer, Christian-hating atheist in the form of Stalin. Yes, Hitler did some atrocious acts, but Stalin was far worse.

"In fact, the most persistent enemies of the Church, who from Moscow are directing the struggle against Christian civilization, themselves bear witness, by their unceasing attacks in word and act, that even to this hour" Pius XI
Dec 14 Third Sunday of Advent We continue posting daily Advent reflections by the Church Fathers. It's a good way to prepare to celebrate Christmas. The reflections and quotations come from the book titled, Advent and Christmas with the Church Fathers by Marco Pappalardo. Introduction Let us recognize the Son of God in the Child of Bethlehem. Let us recognize him just as he revealed himself to the world through the eyes of faith: the faith with which Mary received him into her womb, the elderly Simeon saw him, and the widow Anna honored him. Let us recognize Jesus, true God and true man, through the gospel accounts, the apostolic tradition, the teachings of the Church, and the words and lives of the saints. Pope Leo: "I prefer to pray in a Catholic church, in the presence of the Most Blessed Sacrament" While meeting journalists in Castel Gandolfo, Pope Leo XIV was asked why he had not prayed— “at least not visibly”—during his visit to the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul on his First Apostolic Journey to Turkey and Lebanon. The Pope responded with a gentle smile: “Who said I didn’t pray? … And perhaps I’m praying even now.” He went on to explain, “I prefer to pray in a Catholic church, in the presence of the Most Blessed Sacrament,” calling the attention surrounding the incident “a bit… curious.” shalomworldnews

December 13 Saint Lucy of Syracuse. orlandileonordove49 St. Lucy Virgin and Martyr († 303) Saint Lucy was a young Christian maiden of Syracuse in Sicily. She had already offered her virginity to God and refused to marry, when her mother pressed her to accept the offer of a young pagan. The mother was afflicted afterwards for several years by an issue of blood, and all human remedies were ineffectual. Lucy reminded her mother that a woman in the Gospel, suffering from the same disorder, had been healed by the divine power. They determined to make a journey to Catania, a port of Sicily, where the tomb of Saint Agatha, martyred in 251, was already a site of pilgrimage. Saint Agatha, Lucy said, stands ever in the sight of Him for whom she died. Only touch her sepulchre with faith, and you will be healed. The Saint of Catania had already saved that city, when Mount Etna had erupted the year after her martyrdom: some frightened pagans, seeing a course of lava descending directly toward the …More
The City of Vaughan, Ontario, gets it right as the councillors voted to display a Nativity Scene at the Vaughan City Hall. The idea is to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. That's good news, especially when one considers that the majority of the Vaughan community is Christian. The Nativity Scene was officially opened for public viewing on December 10th with remarks from the mayor, music and a blessing from Bishop John A. Boissonneau, the Auxiliary Bishop of Toronto. Mayor Steven Del Duca made these remarks, “Christmas is a significant time for Christians in Vaughan and around the world. That is why I am pleased to honour this meaningful occasion further with a nativity scene displayed at Vaughan City Hall each year. The nativity scene symbolizes the story of the birth of Jesus Christ and celebrates the true meaning of Christmas. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the new display. I would also like to express my sincere thanks to Regional Auxiliary Bishop John …
