In a remarkable video, a young woman named “Laura” who converted from Buddhism to Catholicism in 2018 pleads with Pope Leo XIV to be faithful to his role as Christ’s representative on Earth and urged him to stop being “confusing and abstract.” “When I heard that the world was receiving a new Pope, I was very curious, was very hopeful to see what was to come,” she began.
Leo XIV has released today two documents a new General Regulation of the Roman Curia and a Personnel Regulation about recruitment. They enter into force on 1 January 2026 for a five-year ad experimentum period. The Personnel Regulation requires Vatican employees to uphold exemplary religious and moral conduct, also in private life. It sets employment rules: six-day work weeks, fixed hours, 26 days of annual leave, monitoring of sick leave, restrictions on part-time work, and bans on employing relatives within the same office. The General Regulation represents a complete reconstruction of the curial system—administrative structure, documentation regime, digitalization, the rights of the faithful, and a renewed centrality of the Secretariat of State. End of Latin The previous obligation to draft acts “as a rule” in Latin disappears. Italian, English, French, and other modern languages may now be used normally. This will practically mean the abandonment of Latin. Faithful’s right to a …More
“I saw the Church of the apostates grow greatly… Everyone had to enter it to unite and possess the same rights; sects of all kinds,Catholics, a true communion of the profane… there everything is more beautiful according to the apostates”: Visions of Blessed Anna Emmerich 1821
Pope Leo XIV has issued a new Apostolic Letter titled In unitate fidei (“In the Unity of Faith”), calling Christians to renewed "dialogue" and "unity". Released on Sunday to mark the 1,700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, the document contains the usual word salad about "shared foundations" of the Christian faith. Next Friday, Leo XIV and the controversial Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew will visit Nicaea, near today’s Iznik in Turkey. Credo in pluralitatem Ecclesiarum In the new letter, Leo XIV writes that Christian unity is not about “returning” to the past, but about “an ecumenism that looks to the future, that seeks reconciliation through dialogue.” He even speaks - contrary to the Faith in the ONE Church founded by Christ - of a “current status quo of the diversity of Churches and ecclesial communities.” Leo XIV continues: “We must therefore leave behind theological controversies that have lost their raison d’être in order to develop a common understanding and, even …More
Bishop Anthony Ward has revealed that he was secretly consecrated in a Traditional Rite ceremony in 2024 – which while valid was illicit – by Archbishop Telesphore George Mpundu, the retired Archbishop of Lusaka
In March 2024, the retired Archbishop Telesphore Mpundu, 78, of Lusaka, Zambia, ordained the US priest Anthony Ward in the Roman rite as a bishop. Archbishop Mpundu was ordained a priest in 1972 and a bishop in 1987, both in the Novus Ordo. He served multiple terms as president of the Zambia Bishops' Conference. In 2018, he requested early retirement at the age of only 70. No reason was given. Ward was ordained a priest by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre for the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X, but left soon afterwards. In 1977. He founded an independent group in Colorado called the Servants of the Holy Family. In 2013, the Diocese of Colorado Springs declared the group “not in good standing with the diocesan or universal Catholic Church”. On 16 November 2025, Ward announced after Mass that he and Archbishop Mpundu had both been notified by Tucho Fernández - author of soft pornography and Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith - of an excommunication latae sententiae. …More

"It's not just over; the old Christian society is also a useless burden, according to the president of the Italian Bishops’ Conference (CEI). He announces the new 'good news' at the general assembly: secularisation will set you free."
Pope León XIV has urged the Churches of the Global South to firmly support the Paris Agreement during COP30, highlighting the moral urgency of responding to the climate crisis. In a video message from Belém, he stressed that the poorest are suffering the most from floods, droughts, and heat waves, and warned that the window to limit global warming is rapidly closing. While he praised international cooperation and called for concrete action, his strong alignment with UN climate narratives has sparked debate about how far the Church should engage with global political structures. The Pope insisted that the Church must act as a guardian of creation, balancing collaboration with the need to preserve its prophetic voice and doctrinal clarity.
In a brief interview with the Washington Post, Cardinal Krajewski, the Vatican’s point-person for the event who oversaw its organisation, rejected any suggestion of an intentional snub toward the transgender activists. He said that places at the top table “were given to poor parishioners who had attended an earlier Eucharist”, while the transgender-activists arrived later for the event and “sat elsewhere”. He explained further that the spots for the Pope’s table this year had been handed out randomly to the poor parishioners. “The Church is open to everyone,” he said. “It’s not about [the Pope] meaning to carry on this outreach. They [the activists] came because they’re an integral part of the Church, that is all.”
Among the 1,300 guests at today's "Lunch for the Poor" event in the Vatican's Paul VI Hall were 48 transvestites. Many of them get money as homosexual prostitutes. As Leo XIV entered, one transvestite handed him an image of Our Lady. The Pope accepted it and moved to his table to address the crowd. Unlike in previous years, there were no transvestites seated at the main table with the Pope. Transvestite "Alessia" Nobile told WashingtonPost.com that he had managed to give a letter to Leo XIV: "The fact that he mingled with us and sat close to us is a good sign, right?" Curia Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, who oversaw the organisation of the event, attempted to present the seating plan as a purely logistical decision. He claimed that places at the top table were given to poor parishioners who had attended an earlier Eucharist, while the transvestites arrived later and sat elsewhere. #newsYfuuupaion
In October, Pope Leo XIV received a delegation from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, led by Archbishop José Gomez. Among them were two homosexuals from California who have been in a [pseudo-]marriage since 2023, reports the Substack.com account Letters From Leo on November 13. The two homosexuals are Alex Capecelatro, an AI tech entrepreneur, and Brian Stevens, a philanthropist who is much older than Capecelatro. Stevens is a former seminarian and a Knight of Malta who has led more than thirty pilgrimages to Lourdes. When Leo XIV heard "we are married," Capecelatro later wrote on social media, he received them "with unmistakable warmth and kindness, not a hint of hesitation". Then, with a playful grin, Capecelatro asked Leo XIV: "I have one very important question: How did you do at Wordle today?" The Pope burst into laughter. It turned out that both needed six tries to solve the puzzle for the word "Glare". Leo XIV came back to compare notes about it minutes later. “Did that really just …More
This is shameful from our Catholic bishops. Where were these bishops when ICE was arresting and deporting people under Obama and Biden? When an Antifa member fired on a ICE facility the ICE officers can be seen in the video using their own bodies to shield the illegal migrants and pull them to a safe location and protect them from the gunman.
At the recent plenary assembly of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Bishop Strickland made a rare intervention from the floor. He spoke up regarding a controversy involving Father James Martin and the wider question of fidelity to the Church’s teaching. It was a moment that cut through the atmosphere of procedural calm and reminded everyone present that the unity of the Church is founded first on the truth.
Bishop Strickland stands up in USCCB (November 12) and urges bishops to respond to Fr James Martin overseeing the confirmation & reception of Holy Communion by a 'married' gay man: "We need to address this". There was no response from the panel/chair.
Today, Pope Leo XIV appointed Monsignor Niall Coll, 62, as Bishop of Raphoe, Irland. Niall Coll was born on 25 August 1963 in Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland, as the eldest of four children. After ordination to the priesthood in July 1988, he studied in Rome and and earned a Doctoral degree in Christology at the Pontifical Gregorian University. Attack on "Tridentine" Heritage In October 2022, Francis appointed him as Bishop of Ossory. In his first statement, he said: "The four-century and more long dominance of the Tridentine pattern has left Catholics almost everywhere unfamiliar with discerning and negotiating possibilities for change in Church life. But, trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit, discern and change we must, in line with Pope Francis’ emphasis on the need for ‘synodality’." On Inclusion of unrepentant homosexuals In the ‘Pat Kenny Show’ on January 26, 2023, Bishop Coll was asked about Francis’ positive remarks on homosexuality, and he replied that he “very much …More
A Spanish Catholic bishop is under investigation by the Vatican over an allegation of sexual abuse dating back three decades, his diocese confirmed this week.
For several days, Spain’s newspaper El País has filled its pages with reports of alleged sexual abuse within the Catholic Church. Here is why. Vatican investigation against Spanish bishop One case centers on a Vatican investigation into Bishop Rafael Zornoza Boy, 76, of Cádiz y Ceuta. He is accused of homosexually abusing a male minor in the 1990s while serving as rector of the Getafe seminary. Bishop Zornoza denies the charge as "false". He has stepped back from duties while the Vatican inquiry proceeds. A canonical tribunal in Madrid, under the supervision of the Archbishop of Seville, is handling the case. Abuse-"coverage" as political control Carlos Balén argues on InfoVaticana.com on November 12 that the wave of abuse coverage is about political control. He sees it as a strategy to keep a weakened Church submissive by constantly reviving its scandals: “The Spanish bishops are hostages of their own guilt,” Balén writes. “For fear that someone might pronounce their name next to …More
Of course we wouldn't want a "safe pair of hands lacking in imagination" as a church leader - much rather have someone "exciting"! Yeah, that's the ticket...
