Morocco Cardinal: "We Must Abandon the False Paradigm of True Religion, False Religion"

"We must abandon the false paradigm of 'true religion' versus 'false religion'," wrote Spanish-born Cardinal Cristóbal López Romero of Rabat, Morocco, in L’Osservatore Romano to mark the 60th anniversary of Nostra Aetate (VaticanNews.va, October 28).
"“No religion can appropriate the truth, as if it were its sole owner. No one possesses the truth; if anything, it is the truth that possesses us all. In every religion there are glimmers of truth."
The Cardinal wishes "conditions that allow everyone to live in religious freedom and to find answers to the questions that arise in religions."

Your Eminence, may I ask a question. Why do you believe in the Catholic Religion if you do not think it is true? Do you think belief is an irrational feeling?

Muslims are not descendants of Ishmael, the son of Abraham.

Arab is ethnic, Muslim is a religion. Ishmael is not the father of the Muslims, only of the Arabs.
Muslims are not descendants of Ishmael, the son of Abraham. Arabs are indeed descendants of Ishmael, but they weren't Muslims. Let us remind all the Catholics who have been deceived by the 'ecumenical' heresy that denies the Holy Trinity that the that the counterfeit Abraham in an Islamic Abraham, not a Jewish one.

«Today I was asked a question which I have been asked a good number of times. So, I thought I would give a simple answer here. A young man wrote and asked: “Can you please tell me whether the descendants of Ismael are Muslims?”
Because I have been asked this question a good number of times I thought I would answer it simply here.
No. The descendants of Ishmael are the Arabs but not all Arabs are Muslims. In the Middle East from 200-650 AD, most Arabs were Christians, not Muslims. Islam did not get started …More

Italian Synod Approved Invalid Female Deacons

On October 25, the Italian Synod approved a final document of proposals accepting homosexuality and also calling for the invalid ordination of women to the diaconate.
Section 71c of their document states that the Italian Synod "promotes research projects of theological faculties and theological associations to offer a contribution to the deepening of issues relating to the diaconate of women initiated by the Holy See."
This section regarding the female diaconate was the least popular among participants at the synod, passing with 77% approval.
The document was warmly welcomed by the Italian bishops, including its president, Cardinal Matteo Zuppi of Bologna. He urged the bishops to implement the proposals within their respective dioceses.
The day before the vote, Cardinal Zuppi celebrated Vespers for traditional Catholics in Rome.

Our choices in every domain of life should be simple — just as the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ: Yes, yes or No, no, and anything in between comes from Satan. Above all such simple choices are needed by our souls and minds.
Many, indeed very many people, will assume that they themselves make choices, but unfortunately they do not realise that it is life in a lie, because by using the media, we are constantly fed information, which often acts on the subconscious – and we may not even know that each choice, starting with buying a dishwashing liquid and ending with politics, and what is worst – with our health – has been shown to us, and we obediently, like trained dogs or robots, follow orders.

A German law professor once gave his entire class the same written exam.
The case was simple:
Two neighbors were in a legal dispute. One had apple trees, and the branches hung over the fence, dropping apples onto the other neighbor’s tulip beds. The falling apples broke the delicate flower stems.
Half the class sided with the tulip lover.
The other half defended the orchard owner.
They all quoted statutes, paragraphs, and showed off their impressive knowledge of German property law.
But in the end, the professor pointed out one simple fact:
Apples fall in the fall. Tulips bloom in the spring.
The situation they had been analyzing so thoroughly could never actually happen.
All protests were met with the professor’s calm response:
“Before you start quoting the law, try using common sense.” 😉🤔

The condemnation of abortion is an infallible doctrine of the Catholic Church with the same authority as all the Marian dogmas and the founding of the Catholic Church by Christ. There is nothing to discuss.

The illegitimate son of a Spanish nobleman, Juan, and a young freed black slave, Anna Velasquez, Martin grew up in poverty. He spent part of his youth with a surgeonbarber from whom he learned some medicine and care of the sick. At age 11 he became a servant in the Holy Rosary Dominican priory in Lima, Peru. Promoted to almoner, he begged more than $2,000 a week from the rich to support the poor and sick of Lima. Placed in charge of the Dominican‘s infirmary; known for his tender care of the sick and for his spectacular cures. His superiors dropped the stipulation that “no black person may be received to the holy habit or profession of our Order” and Martin took vows as a Dominican brother in 1603. FBI fires top official amid Kash Patel’s outrage over reports of agency jet use
A top FBI official with 27 years standing has reportedly been fired by the bureau after its director, Kash Patel, became enraged by press stories revealing he had used a government jet to travel to see his girlfriend sing the national anthem at a wrestling match.
Steven Palmer, who had worked at the bureau since 1998, was fired as head of the FBI’s critical incident response group which is responsible for handling major security threats as well as overseeing the agency’s fleet of jets. He was the third head of the unit to be dismissed since Patel became the second Trump administration’s FBI director in February.
Bloomberg Law, which broke the story, said that three unnamed sources had expressed astonishment at the sacking given that Patel’s flight schedules were fully public and trackable on websites. A day after her performance, Patel himself had reposted photos showing him together with his girlfriend …More

FSSPX Priest Suggests that Transalpine Redemptorists Aligned with Archbishop Viganò

There is alignment, or at least tacit sympathy, between the Transalpine Redemptorists in Scotland and Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, an anonymous priest of the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X (FSSPX) told TheCatholicHerald.com on 2 November.
The priest doubts that they will try to work with the FSSPX, saying: "I think they have gone full sedevacantist. They used to be prior to their reconciliation in 2007."
In a statement on 16 October, Monsignor Viganò praised the community for distancing themselves from the Church the previous day.
He added that he offered the community "full support", whatever that may mean.
On 24 October, the Bishop Hugh Gilbert of Aberdeen stated that the Redemptorists' declaration was "incompatible with the Catholic sense of the Church's unity". He added that the Holy See was examining the matter.

“In a statement on 16 October, Monsignor Viganò praised the community for distancing themselves from the Church the previous day.“
No. Not the Church.
The Synodal Church.
One of these is Catholic, the other is nothing else than the synthesis of all heresies.

Denis Efimov

They stated: “We repudiate the Synodal Church as distinct from the Divinely constituted Catholic Church.”
This understanding is consistent with what Monsignor Lefebvre called for: “It is, therefore, a strict duty for every priest wanting to remain Catholic to separate himself from this Conciliar Church”; "It is a question of the radical incompatibility between the Catholic Church and the Conciliar Church"; “this Council represents... a new church which they call themselves the ‘Conciliar Church"; "Conciliar Church is a schismatic Church"; “The Church that affirms such errors is at once schismatic and heretical. This Conciliar Church is, therefore, not Catholic".
