When I taught at a Catholic high school decades ago, students were giving out Communion. And now the bishops of America are staging a "Eucharistic revival." By their actions or lack of action, the hierarchy have caused the problem they see in front of them. If they would return to pre-Conciliar rubrics around Holt Communion, they would see more belief, more reverence. But the willfully blind can't see.
