Some Catholics online are taking umbrage at these remarks, but it's just a fact that the United States had Protestant roots - for good AND for ill. Catholics were often seen as a "foreign element" with all kinds of Papist plots feared. The sad result is that many Catholics felt they had to conform to American values - especially those espoused by the ruling class. This is a HUGE problem particularly now that most politicians are corrupt and actually care little of serving the 'common good'.

Illegals are being given public assistance for everything, along with instant 1% loans to buy houses and start businesses. There is no funding for our own citizens, even in disasters. A follow up to my own comment - I've noticed a lot of vision chasers lack internal consistency with their arguments (as in they will hold two conflicting messages as valid at the same time) or there's a willingness to overlook problematic messages. Medjugorje is a prime example of this latter tendnecy.
