Guter geschichtlicher Rückblick auf die Entwicklung, die zur heutigen Krise in der Ukraine geführt hat.
Ein wesentlicher Punkt der Fehlentwicklung war sicher, dass vom Westen mit dem Slogan "Selbstbestimmung" der Putsch von 2014 begründet wurde, die "Selbstbestimmung" für den russisch geprägten Osten und für die Krim aber vehement verweigert wurde, obwohl die russischsprachige Bevölkerung dort massiv bedroht wurde, so dass sie sich lieber Russland als den neuen Machthabern in Kiew anschließen wollte.
Die Eskalation wurde in der Folge weiter betrieben durch Entsendung von NATO-Soldaten zu Manövern in die Ukraine sowie durch den immer wieder vorgetragenen Plan, die Ukraine in die NATO aufzunehmen.
Putin warnte wiederholt, dass NATO-Waffen in der Ukraine eine unmittelbare Bedrohung für Russland darstellen würden, die Russland nicht einfach hinnehmen könnte, ähnlich wie 1962 die USA einen Militärschlag gegen Kuba angekündigt hatten, falls dort russische Raketen stationiert werden sollten. …Altro
