On 11 February, Pope Leo XIV appointed Monsignor Martin Laliberté as coadjutor bishop of the diocese of Saint-Jean-Longueuil. The current bishop of Saint-Jean-Longueuil, Monsignor Claude Hamelin, was appointed in 2019 and will turn 75 on 10 July. Born in Charlesbourg on 13 December 1964, Laliberté was ordained a priest in 1995. A member of the Society of Foreign Missions, he served as a missionary in Haiti and the Brazilian Amazon. In 2019, he was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Quebec and became Bishop of Trois-Rivières in 2022. "Church Called to Change" In his pastoral letter “En marche, ensemble”, published in December 2023, he wrote about synodality. He claimed that dreaming of a “fictitious golden age” to which the Church should return is illusory. “Certainly the institutional and structural dimension of our Church is and will be called to change. It has done so throughout history. This is certainly difficult to live through, but it is not a tragedy”, he believed. Warning about …More
Thanks be to God I was born in a Catholic household, went to Catholic school for my education, went to the Passionist seminary, so you might imagine that I love St Gemma... Yes! I love her lots... Though despite my Catholic years that also spent a good chunk of my life in the Charismatic movement and a bit in the Cathecumenal, I’ve NEVER, ever heard about the mass saints love and died for, the Latin mass. Loved JPII, I remember seen him when he went to the Dominican Republic the first time, he blessed us while riding his popemobil through the "Palo hincado" street with "independencia" avenue... Sweet time, as a Catholic i was never taught to follow each action a pope took, none of us were. Opening my eyes about things going on inside the Catholic Church was breath taking, for example how my Lord taught me how wrong is Communion in the hand, how some songs sang as popular tones are actually disrespectful, how people are trampling on our Lord’s Body while in procession, how people …More
by Don Curzio Nitoglia (doncurzionitoglia.wordpress.com) Luc Pacioli (I think a pseudonym; in fact, there is a famous Luca Pacioli, who died in Borgo San Sepolcro in the province of Arezzo in 1517, who was a Franciscan friar, mathematician and economist, recognized as the founder of accountancy) wrote: «This American progressivism, amplified by Globalism, has spread like an infectious virus throughout the Western social body, almost totally eroding the Christian heritage» (Conservateurs post-libéraux américains, in “Le sel de la terre”, Avrillé, n. 133, September 2025, p. 94). The North American “deep state,” globalist progressivism, hatred against God and natural law, and, finally, against created being, which has as its goal hatred of self-subsisting Being, are the current outcome of late nineteenth-century Americanism. Now, one wonders, could something good arise from this order or disorder of things, typical of Americanism; if it were corrected by the "right," that is, by "Trump …More

From Chapel to Mosque: The Diocese of Saint-Denis, France, helped organise a “spiritual and fraternal” interfaith march on 8 February from the chapel Notre-Dame-des-Anges in Clichy-sous-Bois to a mosque in Montfermeil. The stated aims were to "walk together", visit "places of worship", and deepen understanding of praise and "fraternity" between people of different traditions.

The Lepanto Institute has asked Pope Leo XIV to laicize and suspend Fr. Steve Rosera of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. In an August 2025 report, Lepanto stated that Rosera entered a registered homosexual domestic partnership in San Francisco that lasted ten years during a 28-year leave from public ministry. The group submitted a notarized July 30, 2025 divorce document from the Superior Court of California for the County of San Francisco to the Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, Christophe Cardinal Pierre, requesting it be delivered to the pope. Lepanto said Rosera has been reinstated to ministry and serves as a parish pastor and marriage tribunal judge. The group stated that Archbishop John Wester has not imposed canonical sanctions.
White House panicking after news that he is referenced in the un-redacted Epstein files, which have not been released, over 1 million times. Visit meidasplus.com White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Tuesday abruptly cut short a briefing with reporters after a reporter asked about Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. The question came hours after Lutnick, responding to questions from congressional lawmakers over documents released by the Justice Department, revealed that he misled the public about the extent of his ties to the convicted pedophile sex trafficker, who killed himself in jail while awaiting trial. Leavitt was roughly 20 minutes into one of her regular briefings with the White House press corps when a reporter asked whether President Donald Trump would stand behind Lutnick, who earlier in the day had admitted to members of the Senate Commerce Committee that he’d visited Epstein’s notorious private island, Little Saint James. …More

The Archdiocese of Corrientes, Argentina, issued a statement on February 8 regarding a marriage ceremony held on January 28 involving transvestites. ABC anchor Gio Benitez recently received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Manhattan, NYC. The sponsor was Benitez' "husband" Timmy DiDario. One of the priests co-celebrating the Sacrament was Fr. James Martin.
How can you receive the sacrament of confirmation when you are living (publically) in mortal sin? How can you desecrate the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist by giving the Holy Eucharist to a public sinner??? Dear God have mercy on us!
Epstein Network SPARKS MAJOR RECKONING As millions of emails and thousands of photos released by the U.S. Department of Justice circulate globally, a long-suppressed reckoning is gathering force across Europe. This video examines how Jeffrey Epstein’s network intersected with business leaders, politicians, academics, and royalty—and why questions about judgment, accountability, and moral failure are now being asked with renewed intensity. This is not a trial, but an inquest: into power, access, and the culture that allowed a convicted sex offender to move so freely among the global elite. With police interest reportedly growing and reputations on the line, the Epstein story is no longer just about one man—it’s about the systems and people who enabled him, ignored warning signs, or looked the other way.
