German Diocese Reduces to Just NINE Parishes

The Diocese of Speyer in southwestern Germany plans to reduce its current 70 parishes to just 9 large parish units. Bishop Karl-Heinz Wiesemann described the move as a “major turning point” that will require "courage" from all involved.
By October 31, the diocesan administration will present a plan for implementing the changes.
The new parishes will be led by a three-person team consisting of a pastor, a lay pastoral minister, and an administrative director.
Before a major reform in 2016, the diocese consisted of 346 parishes. These were merged into 70 larger parishes as part of the pastoral "reform" program.

Cette …More

Saturday, 21st June 1913 Date of Frank Trial Still In Much Doubt
Saturday, June 21, 1913
Belief Grows That Case Will Not Come Up Before July 14 or 28
Interest in the Phagan case still centers on the time of the trial of Leo M. Frank. Indications still are that the case will not be tried the week of June 30.
Solicitor Dorsey has never finally committed himself on the matter but Colonel Frank A. Hooper, who is associated [with] him, still expects the case to be set for that date.
Mr. Hooper expects the trial to last a week. The jail will not have been cleared by June 30, according to court attaches, and it is the general policy of the court to clear the jail of as many cases as possible before entering into a lengthy trial. In addition the Fourth of July, a holiday, comes in the week of June 30 and this might mean that the jury would be locked up during a day that the court was not in session. Still further there is the possibility that the defense will ask for a postponement.

~ Consecration to Mary Queen of the World ~
O Mary, Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, we hail Thee as Queen of the world. ~ Together with thy Divine Son, thou dost rule over all creation, with which thou hast been endowed, and over which thou dost hold sovereign power for the benefit of all mankind. ~ To the recognition of these thy royal rights, we, of our own accord, gladly and freely join the consecration of ourselves, proclaiming that we belong to thee body and soul. ~ We promise to love thee, to serve thee, and to glorify thee. ~ In the unity of the Faith and obedience to the Holy Catholic Church we adore thy Divine Son and acknowledge Him to be our King, and we desire to live always beneath the gentle rule of thy maternal scepter. ~
Queen of the World, "reign over us, reign over us with thy Divine Son" in time and in eternity. ~ Amen.
Mary is Queen of the World. ~ She is Queen of each person in particular. ~ Saint. Catherine Laboure! ~ To Jesus through Mary!

St. Louis IX, King.
If God sends you suffering,
receive it with humility,
think that you have deserved it,
and that He sends it for your salvation.
If everything succeeds for you,
do not then give yourself over
to pride
or to other misdeeds;
for you would be abusing God’s
benefits in order to offend Him.
— St. Louis IX, King
Saint Louis IX ruled France from 1226-1270 and is one of the most revered Catholic monarchs — a model of Christian kingship, justice, and piety. He went on two Crusades, promoted justice and charity in his realm, and was canonized in 1297.
Saint Louis IX is shown crowned and robed in blue with fleur-de-lis (the symbol of French royalty) holding the Crown of Thorns on a red cushion, with rays of light emanating from it. St. Louis IX acquired the relic of the Crown of Thorns from Constantinople and built the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris to house it.

Human beings are the most helpless newborns in all of nature. They cannot walk, speak, or regulate their body temperature. If left alone for just a few hours, they die.
And yet, we build cities and reach the moon.
This is not a paradox. It is the central mechanism of everything we are.
In this video, we explore how the human brain almost destroyed our species, why we are born incomplete, and how that fragility gave rise to empathy, cooperation, and intelligence.
