This sentence can make us think of all those who dare to recognize that God is their only possible path to holiness:
“‘Come! let us go to implore the favour of the Lord’; and, ‘I too will go to seek the Lord.’” Zechariah, chapter 8, verse 21
Me, whatever the case, I will seek the face of the Lord, I will look for it and I will find him. I have decided that my will, I will place it in a safe place, in God’s Heart. Let’s find him, together!

Extract from the SPIRITUAL CATECHISM OF CHRISTIAN PERFECTION, VOLUME I, Composed by RPJJ SURIN, of the Society of Jesus:
Holy Practices
What are these practices, and how many are there?
These are interior exercises of virtue, to which those who strive for the highest perfection must devote themselves. There are six main ones.
Which is the first?
To never completely satisfy nature, and to always deny it a part of what it desires, in the ordinary use of things, even the most necessary. Those who live according to their natural inclinations, yet having some esteem and some love for virtue, are fully satisfied on all occasions and believe they are doing a lot, provided they abstain from evil. But spiritual men fear these kinds of complete satisfactions, because they diminish the vigor of the spirit, and they mix mortification everywhere; so that nature never has everything it asks for. They place no limits on this practice other than those of discretion, which requires that one preserve …More

QUESTION 22 — GOD’S PROVIDENCE
1. Does providence suit God?
2. Are all things subject to divine providence?
3. Does divine providence extend immediately to all things?
4. Does divine providence impose necessity on things subject to it?
Article 1 — Does providence suit God?
Objections:
1.
It seems not, because, according to Cicero, providence is a part of prudence. Now the prudence which, according to the Philosopher, ensures the goodness of deliberation, cannot suit God, in whom no doubts arise and who therefore has no need to deliberate. 2 . Everything in God is eternal. But providence is not an eternal thing, having as its object, says S. John Damascene, existing beings which are not eternal. 3 . There is no complexity in God; but providence seems to be something complex since it includes will and intelligence. On the contrary , we read in the book of Wisdom (14, 3, Vg): “It is you, Father, who governs everything by your providence. " Answer : It is necessary to attribute providence …More

Editor’s note: The following is a preface written by Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò for a new book titled The Assassination of John F. Kennedy: The Final Analysis, by David W. Mantik M.D. and Jerome Corsi, Ph.D.
(LifeSiteNews) — John Fitzgerald Kennedy was elected the 35th President of the United States of America at a time of great change that involved the whole world. A few years before the event that brought the first Catholic President in American history to the White House, Pope John XXIII had been elected, the Pontiff who convoked the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council and who believed he could open the doors of the Church to dialogue with the world. The early 1960s take us back to the Cold War, the Berlin Wall, the Cuban crisis, the threat of a looming nuclear conflict, and that perhaps forced and certainly simplistic dualism between right and left that has since begun to show signs of losing steam. Italy, along with the other NATO member countries, was in the midst of an economic …More

A partial list of the lesser known homosexual propagandists among the Cardinals has been published on LaNuovaBq.it (April 30). None of them comes from Africa:
- Cardinal Anthony Poola, 62, of Hyderabad, India, supports various programmes to propagate transvestitism. He has personally participated in such events (e.g. "inclusive Christmas celebrations", Transvestite Day). Such actions are supported by Misereor, an aid organisation of the German bishops. Poola also praised the Vatican's decision to "allow" transvestites to participate in the sacraments of baptism and confirmation.
- Cardinal Jose Fuerte Advincula, 72, of Manila, Philippines, washed the feet of Ryan Borja Capitulo, chosen to represent the homosexual propaganda machine, on Maundy Thursday 2023. However, Capitulo calls his homosexuality a "struggle" and wants to live in chastity according to Catholic teaching.
- Cardinal Soane Patita Paini Mafi, 62, of Tonga, Polynesia, is a friend of Leitis, the only homosexual propaganda …More

Once again, we note the Institutional Dimension of the gaps in the fight against child crime at the Society of Saint Pius He is not a simple priest, but a leader of the Fraternity, district superior for almost 10 years! How can we protect the sheep when the shepherd is a wolf? Can a predator prevent these abuses, remove the perpetrators and cooperate with the authorities to eradicate this scourge? Why leave a person working with children who signals the risk they present to them?
This brings us to other questions: How many predators are on the job now ? Are there other superiors involved?
The coming weeks and months will provide some answers. Menzingen will be able to review its press release format, because it risks being used again. His so-called compassion no longer convinces anyone.

Giovanni di Benedetto (active c. 1350–1390) was a famous illuminator of manuscripts and painter of frescos. He was one of the masters of the studio attached to the court of the Visconti family which, during the Middle Ages, ruled over the Duchy of Milan (present-day Lombardy in northern Italy). The miniature that illustrates the cover of your May issue of Magnificat comes from a Missal-Book of Hours that he produced around 1385. It depicts the coming of the Spirit of Christ upon the world as a dove sending the rays of its light from the highest heaven.
Infunde amorem cordibus
This sort of image of the Holy Spirit, alone, flooding the world with its rays, was frequently used from the 13th century on, as a supplement to the depiction of Pentecost, especially in works of private devotion. Its purpose was to show that although the Holy Spirit was indeed sent to the apostles—on Pentecost—so that they and their successors might be the authentic witnesses of Jesus to the ends of the earth, …More

The Intercession of Christ and the Virgin,
attributed to Lorenzo Monaco (Piero di Giovanni)
(c. 1370–1425)
In a moment of rapturous love
, Saint Francis of Assisi composed a hymn of praise to Our Lady, which begins with a striking list of her glories: “Hail, Lady, holy Queen, Mary, holy Mother of God, you who as a virgin have been made the Church!” The early-15th-century Camaldolese painter Lorenzo Monaco may not have been thinking of these exact words when he created his breathtaking Intercession of Christ and the Virgin, but his painting unveils their inner meaning with an unsurpassed richness. To think of Mary is to think of Christ—and of his Body, the Church.
The virgin intercessor
Mary kneels in the right-hand corner of the painting, draped somewhat unusually in a cream-white garment, which reveals in its folds a lining of regal yellow. Her golden halo calls attention to the reflecting glimmers of divine light that adorn her drapery, from the sunburst on her shoulder to the paradisical …More
