@amuse @amuse LAWFARE: Big Fani might have a heft legal bill coming due as President Trump and his fellow 18 defendants are able to recover their legal fees from her Fulton County office. Georgia’s November 26 dismissal triggered a 2025 state statute allowing Donald Trump to reclaim $5–10 million in fees from Fani Willis’s office after she was disqualified for an improper relationship with a special prosecutor. The Georgia Supreme Court removed her permanently in September, opening the door for all 19 defendants to file similar reimbursement claims. The total cost could dwarf Trump’s alone and stands as a humiliating rebuke of Willis’s partisan prosecution. The blowback is now financial as well as legal.
In December, the Family Pastoral Service of the Diocese of Chiavari, Italy, published a booklet titled Non c’è un amore più grande (“There Is No Greater Love”). The diocese is run by Bishop Giampio Devasini. The publication presents a collection of autobiographical “Christian testimonies” of homosexuals and adulterers. Among the homosexuals are Marco and Michele: "We have been together since 2001." The two homosexuals are increasingly integrated into parish life, including participation in the parish choir and diocesan pastoral activities: "What was previously set aside because it was uncomfortable and difficult to testify to has now become a reason for commitment, to bring our experiences to others." They blame their lifestyle on God: "I believe that the ultimate goal of our work is to break down those walls of division that have always hindered the active participation of people belonging to the broad sphere of homoaffectivity in the life of the Church, under the love of the one …More
These 'lavender mafia' folks (self-servingly) missed the formation part about loving the sinner but not the sin. How tragic for the sinner, and what a trivialization of Jesus' mission.
On 12 December, MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow — a lesbian and a prominent progressive American voice — announced that she considers herself to have returned to the Catholic Church. She lives with an artist named Susan Mikula in a same-sex "marriage". According to TheLettersFromLeo.com, Maddow made these remarks during a question-and-answer session at a local event in Chicago. An audience member asked for her thoughts on the election of Pope Leo XIV. In her response, Maddow praised both Pope Francis and Pope Leo XIV. The Church had just said goodbye to Pope Francis, when along came Pope Leo XIV, who shares Francis's passion for illegal immigrants. She said the timing was so perfect that it was "like it was just grown in a lab" against "cruelty to immigrants". Maddow was raised in a conservative Catholic family, but left the Church around 30 years ago for her homosexual lifestyle. Referring to her current outlook, she told the audience, "I do consider myself to be back in the faith". She …More
These celeb ""converts - reverts"" [both Left & Right] don't do the Church any favors by publicizing the point since they see it as confirmation of their bias and cause great scandal among the faithful.
Blessed János Brenner: The “Hungarian Tarcisius” | Young Priest & Martyr for the Eucharist Blessed János Brenner (1931–1957) was a young Hungarian Cistercian priest and martyr whose short life shone with extraordinary love for Jesus and the Eucharist. Ordained at just 24, he became known for his joyful youth ministry, drawing many young people back to the faith during a time of harsh communist persecution in Hungary. Because his ministry threatened the authorities, János was targeted. In 1957, he was deceived by a false request to bring Holy Communion to a sick person. On his way through the woods, he was ambushed and stabbed 32 times. He was found the next day, dead — still clutching the Eucharist he had been carrying to the supposed dying person. For this reason, he is lovingly called the “Hungarian Tarcisius,” after the early Christian martyr who died protecting the Blessed Sacrament. Beatified by Pope Francis in 2018, Blessed János is a powerful witness to courage, purity of …More
WITH YOU WE BEG, O OUR MOTHER, SAYING: COME, LORD JESUS! Dom Gueranger III SUNDAY OF ADVENT O holy Roman Church, our strong city! Here we are gathered in your walls, around the tomb of this fisherman whose ashes protect you on earth, while, with his immovable doctrine, he illustrates you from heaven. He is your wall; for He is the one who surrounds all your children with His mercy; He is the invincible fortress; thanks to Him, infernal powers will never prevail against you. Widen your doors, so that you can welcome all the peoples within you; for you are the teacher of holiness and guardian of truth. End as soon as possible the old error that opposes faith and let peace be set over all your flock! Oh Holy Roman Church! Conor McGregor, a mixed martial arts fighter, married his long-term partner, Dee Devlin, out of all places in Vatican City. The couple have been together for over 15 years and share four children. They wed at the Chiese di Santo Stefano degli Abissini on Friday, with more than 150 guests in attendance. The priest who officiated acknowledged McGregor’s controversial past, saying: “I’m aware of it, but what can I do?” The wedding comes shortly after McGregor lost a civil appeal related to the Nikita Hand case, in which a damages award against him was upheld.
This site and ministry is unfavourably regarded by the algorithm which is a sign you should take note. When you enter more specific search criteria , you get directed to what appears at first view to be unfavourable information, although it does not take you directly to the MoDM website. I for one, have never doubted of the authenticity of these messages.
Obviously an old post - it's too late to pray that Francis die "repentant." that ship has sailed. While true that ONLY God judges & knows, it doesn't look good from what information we have.
SPELLERS THE MOVIE (Documentary) Inspired by the book Underestimated, the new full-length documentary SPELLERS challenges conventional wisdom regarding a group relegated to society’s margins: nonspeakers with autism, who most “experts” believe are cognitively disabled. As the film opening asks, “What if we’ve been wrong…about every single one of them?” SPELLERS answers that question, in convincing fashion, through the stories of eight nonspeakers—Aydan, Evan, Sid, Maddie, Jamie, Vince, Cade, and Elizabeth—who all found their voice through the miraculous process of using a letterboard to communicate their thoughts and feelings. As Jamie explains, “We think, feel, and learn just like everyone else.” The film blends beautiful cinematography with heart-wrenching stories of these eight spellers and a strong message for every parent of a nonspeaker: your child can do this, too. SPELLERS also demands that teachers, schools, and therapists wake up to the reality that we may have underestimated …More
Several voices within Vatican City have expressed unease over the risks surrounding cooperation with Italian intelligence services, reports SilereNonPossum.com. The concern is heightened by the existence of dossiers compiled in recent years on prominent figures of the Holy See, including Cardinal Angelo Becciu and other prelates. An anonymous cardinal noted that operational contacts between the Vatican Gendarmerie and Italian intelligence agencies — originally established for protection and prevention — are increasingly being used as channels to collect or circulate information about priests, bishops, cardinals, and other Vatican figures, fostering dynamics of pressure, suspicion, and internal control. Today, Leo XIV received directors and staff of Italian intelligence in private audience.
These men, Bergoglio, Prevost and others are tearing down the edifice that was built on Christ and stood for two thousand years, right before our eyes. And the silence is deafening
ADVENT | The third Sunday of Advent is called "Gaudete," or the Sunday of joy, due to the first word of the preface of the Mass: Gaudete, meaning rejoice. On this date, rose-colored vestments are permitted, as a sign of joy, and the Church invites the faithful to rejoice because the Lord is near. There are two Sundays of the year when the color rose is permitted in vestments: the fourth Sunday of Lent (Laetare) and the third Sunday of Advent (Gaudete), because in the midst of the "waiting," it is a reminder that the joy of Easter or Christmas, respectively, is near. In the Advent Wreath, a pink candle is also usually lit. Gospel: Matthew 11:2-11 At that time, 2John was in prison. When he heard about the works of Christ, he sent some of his disciples to him, 3to ask him, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?” 4Jesus answered them, “Go and tell John what you hear and see: 5the blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the …More
