The various organizations were involved in some degree in the promotion of abortion and/or LGBT ideologies. MICAH was caught as a member of Power Together Tennessee, which had taken a formal position in full support of abortion, contraception, homosexuality, and transgenderism. That report can be viewed here. Over the course of the last three years, MICAH has received two grants for a combined total of $100,000; $50,000 in 2022-2023, and $50,000 in 2023-2024. Chile Has Elected a Catholic President: José Antonio Kast Rist won Chile’s presidential runoff on 14 December, defeating Communist candidate Jeannette Jara. A lawyer and leader of the Republican Party, Kast campaigned on security and economic issues while strongly defending pro-life, pro-family, and religious values. Born in Santiago in 1966 to a deeply Catholic family of German descent, Kast is married with nine children and is a member of the Schönstatt Movement. He will take office as president on 11 March 2026. To remarry in the church, and avoid what Catholicism considers adultery, they must secure annulments from tribunals holding their marriages invalid at the time of the wedding. With a success rate of nearly100percent, annulments have come to be viewed as entitlements. By contrast, Catholic spouses striving to honor their vows find little support from a church that seems to have adopted a U.S. divorce culture mentality. Is the annulment of the Catholic SACRAMENTAL MARRIAGE nothing more than equal to a civil divorce today versus the the Truth of ALMIGHTY GOD? In too many Catholic divorces, it is anathema in opposition to the mandate of JESUS CHRIST which means that the annulments are invalid.
Leo, like Francis, in saying "most" or the "vast majority" of marriages are invalid is just giving a green light to those unhappy to leave one's spouse for another. What about the canonical principle that a marriage is considered valid unless it can BE PROVED to have been null to begin with? For shame!
