Bishops act in nasty and petty ways, they are trying to provoke nasty and petty reponse in order to justify their own bad behaviour. We need to avoid falling for their trap.
The Diocese of Charlotte will discontinue the ordinary use of altar rails in parishes beginning Nov 30, the first Sunday of Advent. In parishes with temporary (not permanently affixed) altar rails, they will be removed. Beforehand, there was a heated consultation with the diocesan presbyterial council.
Just curious, what would be a nasty petty response? I recommend riding him out of town on a rail, changing the locks on the chancery and telling the pope to send a real bishop. Is that petty?

"Now the sufferings of Christ had become very vivid and real to the minds of the hermits. Just as we instinctively shrink from laughter when one who is very dear to us lies dying, so they, because they loved Him greatly, desired to deny themselves pleasure and even to accept the burden of pain."
Chapter I, Point VII “How a man cannot possess the heavenly treasure and at the same time cling to the pleasures of earth. The abbot Arsenius was once asked by the abbot Mark why he fled from the society of men. He replied, "God knows it is not that I hate men. I love them well. But I cannot dwell both with God and with men. There are multitudes of heavenly beings and many virtues, but all their wills are one, and they come of one will. Among men it is otherwise. Their wills are many, and they pull us different ways. I am in this strait. I cannot leave God, for that is how I think of it, to dwell with men." Chapter II - On Being Crucified with Christ If any man will come after Me, let him take up his cross, and follow Me. —St. Matt., xvi 24. He who enters upon the way of life in fear bears the cross patiently. He who advances in hope bears the cross readily. He who is perfected in charity embraces the cross ardently. —St. Bernard, Sermon I. on St. Andrew's Day. I have received the …More

Wide Awake Media @wideawake_media Dr. Anthony Chaffee: "Goldman Sachs had a part of their meeting leaked, and they said: Is curing patients a sustainable business model?" "The answer was no because a patient cured is a customer lost." "You never go for cures—you just go for treatments." "You want to provide a medication [so] that they can live with their disease, and you can sell them that drug for the rest of their life."

Pope Leo XIV has held his first meeting with all the heads of the Vatican Congregations, the Vatican press office confirmed. These meetings typically occur twice a year. The last one was in November 2024 under Francis. Following his election on May 8, Leo XIV temporarily confirmed all Curia heads in their positions. Since then, he has appointed only a new Prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops, which he previously led himself. Leo XIV has already met individually several times with the heads of the other 15 Vatican offices.

"Pope Leo XIV" the non-Catholic man who betrayed Christ and his Church. "Where the See of the Blessed Peter and the Chair of Truth have been set up for the light of the gentiles, there they have placed the throne of the abomination of their wickedness, so that, the Pastor having been struck, they may also be able to scatter the flock. Therefore, O' thou unconquerable Leader (Saint Michael the Archangel), be present with the people of GOD and against the spiritual wickedness which are bursting in upon them; and bring them the victory."
As Supreme Pastor, the Holy Father needs to correct this error and end the Stalinist persecution of the older rites being waged by the Archbishop Secretary of the Dicastery and by certain bishops. Dom Alcuin Reid November 8, 2025
