The faithful are still left to wonder what about the TLM is so threatening to the NO that it must be strangled out of existence. If the NO is simply an updated expression of the same faith, coexistence should not cause a problem.

I tend to think that the reason the Germans were asked to temper their “synodal path” was because the Synod on Synodality is going to attempt to draw the entire Church into the depths of filth they were digging towards. The TLM is thoroughly incompatible with this.
