No Press Conference: Leaving Castel Gandolfo after his usual Tuesday visit, Leo XIV brushed off reporters' questions with a brief response: "Not today."
He has actually finally figured this out! Pope Leo XIV left Castel Gandolfo this evening, where he traditionally spent Tuesday. When journalists tried to ask him questions he replied “not today”
Today, the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X has published the coats of arms and episcopal mottos of the four bishops to be ordained on Wednesday. Fr Pascal Schreiber's Family Lions Fr Pascal Schreiber has chosen the motto Virgo Fidelis ("Virgin Most Faithful"), one of the invocations from the Litany of Loreto. Episcopal mottos are usually drawn from the Bible or express the bishop's personal mission. His coat of arms contains personal references. The two lions are taken from his family's coat of arms. Each holds a golden quill, a canting reference to the surname Schreiber ("scribe"). The colours black, red, and gold are a nod to his German homeland. Fr Michael Goldade's Twelve Ears of Wheat Fr Michael Goldade's motto, Adeamus cum fiducia ("Let us go with confidence"), comes from Hebrews 4:16. The defining feature of his coat of arms is the twelve ears of wheat. Besides symbolizing the Eucharist, they recall North Dakota and Kansas, his places of origin and upbringing, also his …More

At 97, Cardinal Ernest Simoni Climbs Medjugorje’s Apparition Hill | Shalom World News On the eve of the 45th anniversary of the first reported apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Medjugorje, Cardinal Ernest Simoni made a remarkable climb up the rocky Apparition Hill, offering a powerful witness to endurance, prayer, and devotion. Despite his advanced age, the Albanian cardinal climbed the hill to honor Our Lady at the site where, according to the testimony of six young people, the first apparitions were reported on June 24, 1981. The site, known as Podbrdo or Apparition Hill, has since become a major pilgrimage destination for millions of faithful pilgrims. Cardinal Simoni’s journey carries special meaning. Before becoming a cardinal, he suffered greatly under Albania’s communist regime, spending 18 years in prison and in forced labor because of his priesthood and faith. Now, decades later, the elderly cardinal climbed the same path followed by countless pilgrims, turning every step into …More
Hell: A sermon by St. Robert Bellarmine. joboww on Oct 19, 2016 A sermon by St. Robert Bellarmine, read by Charles Coulombe. Like a spash of cold water on the face, this is a wake-up call describing our skewed perspective of reality. Despite the enormous stakes of either Heaven or eternal torment, we still choose to serve ourselves over God, for fickle pleasures which don't even truly make us happy. This talk covers the tremendous gravity of sin, the overwhelming happiness in Heaven versus the unthinkable suffering in Hell, the endless NOW of eternity and the despair and rage of the damned.
"This washing of the feet was spiritual, and served as a species of absolution. Peter, in his zeal, saw nothing in it but too great an act of abasement on the part of his Master; he knew not that to save him Jesus would the very next day humble himself even to the ignominious death of the cross."
[Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich; XVIII-XIX Century; born: 8 September 1774 Flamschen, Coesfeld, Prince-Bishopric of Münster, Holy Roman Empire/ died: 9 February 1824 (aged 49), Dülmen, Kingdom of Prussia, German Confederation; mystic, Marian visionary and stigmatist; Roman Catholic Augustinian canoness] MEDITATION VII. ~ The Washing of the Feet. They arose from table, and whilst they were arranging their clothes, as they usually did before making their solemn prayer, the major-domo came in with two servants to take away the table. Jesus, standing in the midst of his Apostles, spoke to them long, in a most solemn manner. I could not repeat exactly his whole discourse, but I remember he spoke of his kingdom, of his going to his Father, of what he would leave them now that he was about to be taken away, etc. He also gave them some instructions concerning penance, the confession of sin, repentance, and justification. I felt that these instructions referred to the washing of the feet, and …More
Italian historian Roberto de Mattei reflected on the announced episcopal consecrations by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) in an article published on CorrispondenzaRomana.it on June 24. "State of Necessity" Cannot Be Self-Judged For De Mattei, the state of necessity argument is simultaneously "the weakest and the strongest argument". His question is: "Who has the authority to verify the existence of such a state and determine its beginning and end?" He argues that if the FSSPX can independently determine when a state of necessity exists, then it also implicitly claims the authority to determine when that state ends. That would place the FSSPX in a position of judging the Holy See rather than being judged by it. De Mattei acknowledges that Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre was not a speculative theologian or canonist, but a pastor of souls: "The decisive criterion for him was not the assertion of a right proper to the FSSPX, but the spiritual need of the faithful." Can Any Bishop …More
Blessed Anna Katharina Emmerick: CAIN & NOAH. 5. CAIN. THE CHILDREN OF GOD. THE GIANTS I saw that Cain conceived on Mount Olivet the design to murder Abel. After the deed, he wandered about the same spot frightened and distracted planting trees and tearing them up again. Then I saw a majestic Figure in the form of a man refulgent with light appear to him. "Cain," He said, "where is thy brother Abel?" Cain did not at first see the Figure; but when he did, he turned and answered: "I know not. He has not been given in charge to me." But when God replied that Abel's blood cried to Him from the earth, Cain grew more troubled, and I saw that he disputed long with God. God told him that he should be cursed upon the earth, that it should bring forth no fruit for him, and that he should forthwith flee from the land in which he then dwelt. Cain responded that everywhere his fellow men would seek to kill him. There were already many people upon the earth. Cain was very old and had children. Abel …More
The first of many trials awaiting Pedro Sánchez’ government has taken place. The Supreme Court has sentenced José Luis Ábalos, former Minister of Transport and former Secretary General of the PSOE (Spanish Socialist Party), to 24 years in prison. Ábalos’ sentence is, in any case, a sentence against the entire Sánchez administration. The former minister was Pedro Sánchez’ closest confidant and his greatest ally both in his rise to the leadership of the PSOE and in his ascent to the presidency of the government, which he achieved through a vote of no confidence against Mariano Rajoy. In fact, during that vote of no confidence, which was falsely justified by alleged corruption in the PP (Partido Popular) government, it was Ábalos himself who delivered Pedro Sánchez’ main speech in parliament. Poetic justice: those who came to power by falsely denouncing corruption in the centre-right government will ultimately fall because of their own corruption. Sánchez’ situation is untenable. …
In his 1995 article on Romans 9–11, the future Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, Tucho Fernández, wrote that "all will be saved." His goal is to “relativize the very basis from which questionable doctrines were elaborated,” wherein the "questionable doctrines" is Catholicism as developed from Scripture by St. Augustine, the Fathers, and the Scholastics, notes ElWanderer.com on June 23. Fernández believes that Augustine's teaching "requires a revision" and later claims that Augustine's doctrine "did not offer a complete and harmonious vision of God, man and Christian experience." "I know God's concrete plans" Tucho's most extraordinary claim is: "I firmly trust that all will be saved; a trust based not on a desire, nor on my compassion for men, but on what I know of God and of His concrete plans thanks to His Revelation." ElWanderer notes that the Church has never received a revelation that all men will be saved. On the contrary. The Council of Trent teaches that …More
Over 1,000 views on scandals. And sometimes as low as only 40 views on Catholic posts. Some of the most beautiful posts are over looked. I only hope everyone who can't get enough of these scandals either takes the time to pray for these Priests when they are done. Or say a Rosary for them. I never saw so many people who rush and seek out all the scandals as I do on gtv. And ignore all the beautiful and Holy "Catholic" posts. As if they don't care at all about them. Remember what you fill yourself with is what you are and will become. There is no need to read such posts. Excuses are, we want to know if they are one of my Priests. Most are no Priests. So unless you go to a no mass, there is no need to check it out. And most of the time the name and picture of the Priest is in our face. So again, no need to read it. So there goes the main excuse I hear all the time.
25.06.2026 SSPX OPEN LETTER INCOMPLETE ON VATICAN COUNCIL II The Society of St.Pius X (SSPX) in its Open Letter, a Profession of Faith has not affirmed Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, interpreted rationally, in harmony with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus of the Council of Florence 1442 etc. In his Declaration of Faith too, a few weeks back, Fr. Davide Pagliarani affirmed the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, without clarifying that there were no known exceptions of the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance, in our human reality in 2026. So confusion persists with this new Open Letter, especially in the section on ‘the Church’. NO COMMENT 1. It was reported that Fr. Pagliarani and Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernandez interpret the Catechism of Pope Pius X irrationally and schismatically. There is no comment on this subject in this Letter. They agree with me. 2. It has also been pointed out that the SSPX interprets LG 16 as …More
The superiors of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X published today another Open Letter to Leo XIV and to the Cardinals. The letter is no call to action nor a negotiating proposal but rather another public reaffirmation of the Fraternity's long-standing position. Attached is a 28-page document (English below) with the Catholic faith. This document repeatedly affirms strong papal authority adding that the pope possesses "supreme, full, immediate, and universal jurisdiction". The letter. Most Holy Father, Most Reverend Eminences, On the eve of the Consistory at the end of this month, and just days before the episcopal consecrations scheduled for 1 July in Écône, it seems to us that the time has come for the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X to make a full profession of Catholic Faith, which we wish to place in the hands of Your Holiness and each one of the Cardinals. Today the Church suffers under the pressure of new forces, coming both from within and without, which push her in …More
Cafe Locked Out @cafelockedout You are the most important generation of human beings ever, because you could be the last humans who are still free to stop this. Basically, the quality of your offspring’s liberty will depend on the choices you make now. This is the prison they are building for all of us. So the real question is: To be or not to be — your children’s enslaver.

At least 20 Christians were killed in an overnight attack on the village of Kawel in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, central Nigeria, police said Monday. Among the victims were a doctor and five patients. Police said heavily armed attackers opened fire on residents before setting homes ablaze. Security forces responded and exchanged gunfire with the assailants, who fled the area. No arrests have been made. Local officials and witnesses identified the attackers as armed Fulani Muslim herders. The latest attack is part of a series of deadly assaults that have plagued Plateau State in recent years. Several Christian advocacy organizations have argued that the repeated violence in Nigeria's Middle Belt disproportionately affects Christian communities and have called on the Nigerian government to provide greater protection. #newsHrlsergljk
Hoch lebe der immer und überall friedliebende Islam. Seit seiner Erfindung hat er sich immer durch Krieg Mord, Totschlag und Unterdrückung durchgesetzt. Jetzt hofiert Leo und die europäischen Eliten den Islam.
Vincent asked first whether, in a time of schism, it was necessary to accept a single true pope or whether one could accept both or neither. Having established in his response to the first question that one must accept either Urban or Clement as pope, Vincent then posed the second question, namely, which of the two men elected by the College of Cardinals was the true pope. Having established that Clement's election alone was valid, Vincent then asked whether this truth had to be preached and revealed to the Christian people. To each of these three major questions, the friar assigned five additional questions. Vincent answered all 15 questions within a scholastic framework: he posed his answer; cited his rational arguments (rationes) and his authorities (chiefly Aquinas, named on several occasions, and the Bible, with some references to Augustine and Aristotle); raised objections to his own arguments; and then rebutted the objections.
