The famous Chartres Pilgrimage in France is deeply tied to the Traditional Latin Mass movement, and the priests who lead it are primarily from traditionalist Catholic communities. Because of historical divisions, the event is split into two entirely separate pilgrimages with different organizers and priests: 1. The "Pilgrimage of Christendom" (Paris to Chartres) The Priests: The chaplaincy and spiritual direction are primarily provided by priests from the FSSP (Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter) and other diocesan priests loyal to Rome. 2.
