Cardinal Robert McElroy, aged 71, has been diagnosed with a non-aggressive cancer and is expected to make a full recovery.
Cardinal Robert McElroy has been diagnosed with cancer, which will be surgically removed on Nov. 13, the Archdiocese of Washington announced today. The precise diagnosis is well-differentiated liposarcoma, a non-aggressive cancer that tends not to metastasize. His doctors therefore agree that his prognosis is very good.
Archbishop Dresses Up: At the end of October, Archbishop Mario Enrico Delpini, together with the bishops of Lombardy, visited a Bedouin community in the desert region near Jericho during their pilgrimage to the Holy Land. For the occasion, he dressed in a manner he believed was befitting of the subject.

“God doesn’t like it, Your Eminence!” a layman dares to interrupt Card.Fernandez at presser on Mary
A Catholic interrupted Fernández when he tried to give an example of a certain kind of 'Marian maximalism' that Catholics should avoid. The man claimed that this example was 'the Church's teaching and the eternal truth of the Church', and said that the new document had been 'created without considering the feelings of God's people'.
@Strong and Steadfast...Your post is nothing but character assassination with no actual facts, designed to denigrate me personally instead of honestly discussing the facts. Your post shows signs of your hysteria.
Tucho Fernandez: “When an expression requires many, repeated explanations to prevent it from straying from a correct meaning, it does not serve the faith of the People of God and becomes unhelpful.” Kind of like “synodality” or “Fiducia Supplicans” or Amoris Laetitia?
Wow, Leo really is a Communist--literally a Communist--and seems to hold no sense of special loyalty to the teachings of Christ or His Church. Makes me wonder if he is literally using the papacy as just a political tool, and if he thinks when he goes through the motions of celebrating Mass it's just political theater and that nothing astonishingly beautiful and loving is happening.
"Mater Populi Fidelis" Note how the title encompasses the apostasy of Tucho and Prevost, just like Bergoglio, they speak of a range of different religions and, maliciously, call "believers" of the different religious traditions those who deny the Holy Trinity and reject Christ as Redeemer. These apostates change the meaning of words; that is why we see that "Traditionis Custodes" actually means the Prisoner of Tradition, not the Guardian who guards Tradition. And here "Populi Fidelis" from the Marxist pseudo-theology of the peoplerefers to all those who practice false religions and those who join them in this rebellion. On October 18, Archbishop Carlo Viganò posted a photo of himself with two members of the Transalpine Redemptorists. The photo has further fueled speculation about an alignment between the community and Viganò.
Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò published on October 18, 2025 a photograph of two of the Transalpine Redemptorists with him.
The Archbishop is no longer in hiding, it seems. He's come out of his cubby-hole into the light of day. Now, if he'll forsake and repent of his sedevacantism he just might make some progress.
Martyrs of the Spanish Civil War - November 6 Persecución Religiosa – Mártires de la … The webpage Persecución Religiosa – Mártires de la … is the only one of its kind. Entirely dedicated to the Spanish religious persecution that started in 1931 during the Republic and lasted until the end of the Spanish Civil War in 1939, the website features the canonization cause of more than 900 people who were killed in Spain. The cause is called Bishop Eustaquio Nieto y Martín and his fellow martyrs. Father Jorge López Teulón, postulator for the beatification cause of the martyrs from the Archdiocese of Toledo, explains: The webpage is divided into two sizeable parts: in the first section one can read about all those who have already been beatified and recognized by the Church. Then in the other part, there is [information on] all the work that we are carrying out. This is the work of six dioceses, the work of four religious families. It is a vast group of martyrs which includes all of the …More
Wide Awake Media @wideawake_media "This is going to absolutely blow your mind." "During the Great Depression, the average home in America was $3,900... only three times the average salary." "Now it is eight times the average salary." "Rent was 16% of the average salary. It is now 42% of the average salary."
These comparisons are completely meaningless. The average home of 1930 was probably less than half the size, had no insulation, had cheap, single-pane windows, and if they had indoor plumbing and electrical service, it would have been limited to a couple of fixtures and all that very plain. It was cold, drafty, leaky, and with no modern amenities. And this home would have been shared by multiple generations and extended family. A great many of the "apartments" in 1930 would have been single-room boarding houses with shared bathrooms!

The Archdiocese of Toledo has publicly declared the complete innocence of Fr. Francisco José Delgado after a canonical trial cleared him of all accusations. A tribunal ruled on July 28, 2025 — confirmed final on September 18 — that the charges of calumny, defamation, opposition to Church authority, and inciting hostility against the Holy See were entirely unfounded and lacked evidence. The Archdiocese acknowledged that its earlier statement in February 2024 may have caused misunderstanding and harmed Fr. Delgado’s reputation, clarifying that disciplinary measures imposed at the time (such as restricting social media use) were not punitive sentences. They praised his obedience and fidelity throughout the process. The case is portrayed as part of a troubling campaign — originating from murky sources — aimed at discrediting a priest known for his public apostolate and traditional Catholic voice. The outcome reveals that the accusations were baseless and suggests an attempt to silence him. …More
