On Sunday, 14 December at 8:30 p.m., the Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio in Milan will host a historic event: Canon Don Francesco Braschi will celebrate a Mass in the ancient Ambrosian Rite according to the 1954 missal—the first at the High Altar in fifty-three years.

Destroying Death: Christ's Crucifixion and Our Redemption The mountain of the Lord, as described in Isaiah, is fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ. While the prophecy was initially understood as referring to Jerusalem, it ultimately points to Jesus, who provides spiritual nourishment, destroys death, and removes the reproach of sin. This fulfillment continues today through the Holy Eucharist and the spiritual healing offered by Jesus. Fr. Altier’s Daily Homilies Fr. DEC 3, 2025 I ALMOST DIED 17 YEARS AGO IN 2008, I'm currently taking medication. I was diagnosed with a terminal illness in 2002. But in 2008 in September I ended up sick, after going to see a Doctor, I was sent home with a misdiagnose, tylenol and anti-biotics. The Doctor was negligent to run tests as I asked, she was a young female pregnant Doctor probably in her mid thirties. In the last week of september I had already lost 33 pounds in less than a month, high fever, body aches, unable to eat, vomiting, diarrhea, extreme weakness, but I felt the presence of God, so much love, so much peace, although my pains where great. I was hungry but I was unable to eat anything anymore, not even a soup or broth would make it to my stomach without me vomiting. A brother and his family came to visit from a different state in the U.S., I was under my mom's care at that time as I had nobody to look after me. I had refused to go to the hospital, because for 3 consecutive times that same year (2008)…More
"The way to Heaven is tough. Our time has reached a higher intensity of evil than before. Temptations are greater than ever,” said Bishop Bernard Fellay of the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X in an interview with Kenya’s Immaculata TV on 23 November (video below). He explained that there has been a terrible crisis in the Church since Vatican II, including a terrifying decline in vocations: "You wonder how far it can go." And, "The influence of the Church on the world is now reduced to nothing." Bishop Fellay quoted Cardinal Ratzinger’s well-known prediction that the Church as we know it will disappear and be reduced to "little islands": "I fear we are very close to that time." He continued, "A lot of things in the Church have already been destroyed." On Tucho’s Document About Marian Titles Regarding Cardinal Victor (Tucho) Fernández and his recent document on the Marian titles Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of all graces, Bishop Fellay called it “pitiful.” “It is an insult to God,” he …More
A resurfaced 2014 video shows Pope Leo XIV singing “Feliz Navidad” with a local band in Peru. He joins in the clapping, and the audience cheers when he finishes.
So what? He is celebrating Christmas with his community. Doesn't look liturgical at all to me, but just a celebration. He probably has a good singing voice.

Vergine di Montesanto - December 3rd, 2025 | No Greater Delight No Greater Delight is a daily Marian podcast meant to start the day with a Marian touch. After examining the Marian feasts celebrated throughout the world on a given day, Fr. Nate offers a brief reflection to help make our love for Our Lady concrete in daily living. The title "No Greater Delight" is inspired by a homily of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, wherein he expresses his joy in preaching about the Virgin Mother, even though he acknowledges the challenge of adequately praising her. Mary's greatness is beyond words. 0:00 Feasts of Mary Today 05:54 True Devotion to Mary WhatsApp Channel: Catholic Voice | WhatsApp Channel Links: catholicvoice | Instagram, Facebook | Linktree
December 3: Our Lady of Victory Paris Our Lady of Victory Paris The church of Our Lady of Victory in Paris was built in 1629 by King Louis XIII in thanksgiving for favors granted him by the Blessed Mother. The parishioners for a century and a half were known for their devotion to the Blessed Virgin. With the French Revolution the church fell upon evil ways and days. All sorts of outrages were performed in it by the revolutionists. Afterwards it was used by a schismatic sect and later became a stock exchange. In 1809 it was restored to its original purpose but there were few parishioners left. Father Charles Fritche des Gennettes was transferred to the church of Our Lady of Victories in 1832. He had been the pastor of Catherine Laboure. Father noticed that scarcely anyone came to Mass or received the sacraments. He tried all in his power, but to no avail, to bring the people back to the faith. Discouraged, he decided it was his duty as a failure to resign. Our Lady of Victory Paris On …More
