St. Maximillian Kolbe, sorry to say, took "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" at face value which was a serious mistake since it was a hoax. Five years before Kolbe's cited 1926 article, Irish writer Philip Graves published an expose' series in The Times Of London exposing numerous instances where the "secret Jewish document" had, in fact, clearly plagiarized a French political satire written in 1864 by Maurice Joly. Subsequent scholarship has since exposed extensive plagiarism from another rabidly anti-Semitic writer, Hermann Goedsche. Kolbe didn't do his homework and (we can hope) repeated other people's lies simply out of ignorance. "Tradition In Action" is exploiting a saint's lousy scholarship to legitimize their own bigotry. "The Protocols" were a lie, Kolbe unwittingly repeated those lies as untruth and now they're using the saint to prove their lies are sound Catholic teaching.
