Pope Leo commented on the Rupnik case: “Judges have been appointed, & processes for justice take a long time. I know it is very difficult for the victims to ask them to be patient. But the Church must respect the rights of all people. The principle of presumption of innocence until proven guilty also is true in the Church. Hopefully this trial that is just beginning will be able to bring some clarity & justice to all those involved.”

Asked on his opinion on what should done with Marko Rupnik’s artwork, Pope Leo XIV says: “Certainly in many places, precisely because of the need to be sensitive to those who have presented cases of being victims, the artwork has been covered up, artwork has been removed from websites. So that issue is certainly something that we're aware of. A new trial has recently begun, judges were appointed and processes for justice take a long time. I know it is very difficult for the victims to ask that they be patient but the Church needs to respect the rights of all people. The principle of innocent until proven guilty is also true in the Church, and hopefully this trial that is just beginning will be able to give some clarity and justice to all those involved.”

Bishop Francesco Savino, 70, of Cassano all’Jonio, Italy, "allows" practiced homosexuality. Francesco Savino who is one of the three vice-presidents of the Italian bishops told DirittoDiCronaca.it on October 14 about homosexuals: "They should not be denied the opportunity to be loved and to love, even on an intimate, sexual level, because denying them this, denying them their right, I repeat, is simply wrong."

Mons.

For the prevention of suicide – The Pope Video – November 2025
In The Pope Video for November, the Holy Father asks us to pray for those who are struggling with thoughts of suicide. He remincs us that all of us are vulnerable and that Christian communities must be welcoming, open to listening, and full of hope. Every day about 2 thousand people in the world take their lives. It is the third leading cause of death among young people. In this context, we are invited to join our prayer with that of Pope Leo XIV: “that those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts might find the support, care and love they need in their community, and be open to the beauty of life.” This video was produced by the Pope’s Worldwide Network, in collaboration with the Diocese of Phoenix and Vatican Media. ---- Let us pray that those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts might find the support, care and love they need in their community, and be open to the beauty of life. Lord Jesus,
You who invite the weary and burdened
to come to You and rest in Your Heart,
we ask You this month for all the people
who live in darkness and despair,
especially for those struggling
with suicidal thoughts.
May they always find a community
that welcomes them, listens to them, and accompanies them.
Give all of us an attentive and compassionate heart,
capable of offering comfort and support,
also with the necessary professional help.
May we know how to be close with respect and tenderness,
helping to heal wounds, build bonds, and open horizons.
Together may we rediscover that life is a gift,
that there is still beauty and meaning,
even in the midst of pain and suffering.
We are well aware that those who follow You
are also vulnerable to sadness without hope.
We ask You to always make us feel Your love
so that, through Your closeness to us,
we can recognize and proclaim to all the infinite love of the Father
who leads us by the hand to renew our trust in the life You give us. …More

Indian police raid seminary: Police in Madhya Pradesh, India, raided St. Joseph’s Minor Seminary on Nov. 5 after a newspaper report accused the Catholic institution of allegedly converting poor tribal students to Christianity. Officers searched the seminary for nearly five hours and questioned all 23 students. The police left after administrators produced documents showing the students were already Catholic. Right-wing Hindu groups are increasingly targeting Christians under the state’s anti-conversion laws.

Indian police raid seminary 🇮🇳: Police and senior officials in India’s Madhya Pradesh state raided St. Joseph’s Minor Seminary (in the Gwalior diocese) on November 5, 2025, in relation to allegations of religious conversion of tribal boys. The seminary was searched for nearly five hours; all 23 seminarians were interrogated. The raid was triggered by a report in the Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar alleging that the seminary admitted tribal boys, provided education and then converted them to Catholicism to become priests. The seminary’s rector stated that the institution only admits Catholics and that they provided evidence (parental consent letters, baptismal certificates, parish recommendations, property papers) to the police.

A Priest’s Journey to Bring Christ to the Margins | Shalom World News
In the heart of Ebonyi State, Nigeria, faith travels on two wheels. A Catholic priest from the Diocese of Abakaliki makes his way through rugged rural paths to reach St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ezza North. His mission: to celebrate Holy Mass for communities that might otherwise go weeks without the Eucharist. Through mud, dust, and distance, he carries not just vestments and sacred vessels but the presence of Christ to those who wait with hope. No cathedral. No microphones. Just the altar, the people, and the presence of God! This humble image, shared widely on social media, has touched countless hearts, reminding the world that in places of hardship, faith endures in its purest form. It is a living testimony of the missionary spirit and the daily sacrifices made by countless priests who serve far from comfort, yet close to the heart of God. But in today’s Nigeria, faith often walks a hard road. Christians across …More

Tucho’s Marian Document Leans on Selective Citations and Neglects the Magisterial Tradition

On November 5, Mark Miravalle, professor emeritus of theology and mariology at Franciscan University of Steubenville and president of the International Marian Association, responded on MotherOfAllPeoples.com to Tucho’s November 4 document Mater Populi Fidelis which attacks Marian titles common in the Catholic Church.
The use of the title "Co-Redemptrix"
Tucho stated that the title "Co-Redemptrix" is "not appropriate," despite its historical use by numerous popes. Miravalle questions whether this implies that past popes and many saints used an improper title.
Tucho's document concludes that the title is allegedly "inappropriate" due to the need to often "re-explain" it.
Miravalle comments: "Other Marian titles, such as 'Immaculate Conception' and 'Mother of God,' have likewise required ongoing explanation and re-explanation. Yet these titles remain, as do other Catholic dogmas, such as 'Papal Infallibility,' 'Original Sin,' and 'Transubstantiation.'"

It is kind of like Frankenstein, very creepy.

"26. Eloquence is a painting of thought; and thus those who, after having painted it, add something more, make a picture instead of a portrait.”

‘PENSÉES’ by Blaise Pascal; 1660; ‘SECTION I - THOUGHTS ON MIND AND ON STYLE’; Points 16-26; pages 4-5

[Blaise Pascal – XVII Century AD; Clermont-Ferrand, France/Paris, France; Mathematics/Physics/Theology]
“16. Eloquence is an art of saying things in such a way (1) that those to whom we speak may listen to them without pain and with pleasure; (2) that they feel themselves interested, so that self-love leads them more willingly to reflection upon it.
It consists, then, in a correspondence which we seek to establish between the head and the heart of those to whom we speak, on the one hand, and, on the other, between the thoughts and the expressions which we employ. This assumes that we have studied well the heart of man so as to know all its powers and, then, to find the just proportions of the discourse which we wish to adapt to them. We must put ourselves in the place of those who are to hear us, and make trial on our own heart of the turn which we give to our discourse in order to see whether one is made for the other, and whether we can assure ourselves that the hearer will be, as it …More
