Pope Leo XIV is expected to appoint the handsome Bishop Ronald Hicks, 58, of Joliet, Illinois, as the 11th Archbishop of New York, replacing Cardinal Timothy Dolan. The rumour was spread by the Spanish-language outlet ReligionDigital.org on December 15 and confirmed by several journalists citing “independent sources.” The appointed is expected for December 18. Liberal journalist Christopher Hale was told: “This is a Chicago priest, advocated by Cardinal Cupich, appointed by a Chicago pope.” Hale describes Bishop Hicks as “more progressive than Cardinal Dolan.” Spiritual hero is Óscar Romero When he began as Bishop of Joliet in 2020, he wore a small photo of Archbishop Óscar Romero of San Salvador on the lapel of his jacket. Romero is a hero of politicized liberation theology. Monsignor Hicks had served as a missionary in El Salvador (2005-2010). Ally of Cardinal Blase Cupich Monsignor Hicks’s relationship with the pro-homosexual Chicago Cardinal Blase Cupich is both structural and …More
On the face of it, not encouraging. We must pray, for the Church's sake, New York's sake, and for the same of his own soul that he will be more open to the Holy Spirit than his mentor, the manipulative and conniving Cupich.

To these words I answer, that God does not wish us entirely and absolutely to neglect or despise the riches and honours of this world. Abraham was an especial favourite with God; and yet he possessed great riches. David also, and Ezechias, and Josias, were most powerful kings; and at the same time most pleasing to God: the same may be said of many Christian kings and emperors. The good things of this life, therefore its riches, honours, and pleasures are not entirely forbidden to Christians, but only an immoderate love of them, which is named by St. John, " the concupiscence of the flesh, …More

Monsignor Ronald Hicks - Bishop of Joliet and soon to become the new Archbishop of New York - first met Pope Francis on 29 June 2015. After Francis’s death, he wrote about that meeting on Diocoliet.org on 5 May. Back then, he was standing in Saint Peter’s Basilica with Chicago Archbishop Blase Cupich. Cupich had been installed as Archbishop of Chicago in November 2014. In January 2015, he appointed Rev. Hicks as his Vicar General and in 2018 his auxiliary bishop. “Now Is Your Chance” In June 2015, Archbishop Cupich asked his Vicar General in the Basilica, “Have you ever met the Pope?” When Hicks replied, “No,” Cupich grasped his arm and said with a smile, “Well, now is your chance.” He led Hicks briskly toward Pope Francis and introduced him in Italian, saying, “Holy Father, this is Ron Hicks, my Vicar General, and he speaks Spanish.” Francis turned to Hicks and began speaking in Spanish. Hicks recalls: “From that moment forward, whenever we encountered one another, we spoke …More
Bishop Hicks is not a sychophantic type of personality, he is his own man. You will find that out. Here in Joliet we've seen a reasonable man. When some bishops were quick to eliminate the Latin Mass such was not the case with Bishop Hicks. Things have not changed on that front. He supports parishes and priests instead of undermining them as in other places. He is a man of prudence and caution who loves his Catholic faith. New York will thrive under his guidance.
17.12.2025 WHERE IS ST. THOMAS MORE TODAY IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IN ENGLAND ? When King Henry VIII wanted to marry Anne Boleyn and the pope said no, he threatened to kill all the English cardinals and seize their property. All winked. Except for one. Today not a single cardinal will tell Ofsted and the Islamic groups that Lumen Gentium 16 in Vatican Council II refers only to a hypothetical case. It refers to someone invisible in London in 2025-2026. ‘Not a single cardinal except St. Thomas More’. Sounds familiar? Not a single cardinal in Britain will say that hypothetical cases of being saved ‘in imperfect communion with the Church ‘Unitatis Redigratio 3, are not exceptions for the dogma EENS. The Decree on Ecumenism, in Vatican Council II, is not an exception for Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II. Ad Gentes 7 says all need faith and baptism for salvation. Lumen Gentium 16 cannot be an explicit exception for Fr. Leonard Feeney of Boston on extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS), but ‘…More
Here’s what Bishop Hicks said to progressive Cardinal Blase Cupich, a close ally of both Pope Francis and Pope Leo, at his 2020 installation: “Thank you for your extraordinary leadership to the Church. Thank you for your trust and confidence in me… I want you to know how much I’ve learned directly from you.”

With Vatican Council II ( rational ) the SSPX is in the mainline Catholic Church which can no more be liberal. The Council has changed. This is known here at the Vatican and Pope Leo and the Holy See Press Office are not responding. Neither are the traditionalists and the sedevacantists. The mainline Catholic Church is liberal today because Vatican Council II is liberal. The SSPX and the MHT sedevacantists interpret ‘the red passages as exceptions for the blue orthodox ones ‘ in Vatican Council II. This is irrational. It has to change When the SSPX and the sedevacantists interpret ‘the redas not being an exception for the blue’, the Council is no more liberal. This is a sea change in the Catholic Church. We return automatically to the ecclesiology of St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine. We side step the irrational theology of the popes from Paul VI to Leo XIV. 09.12.2025 POPE LEO’S INTERPRETATION OF VATICAN COUNCIL II PRODUCES POLARIZATION : GERMAN MEDIA NOT CORRECTED POPE …More

Prevost extends the Chicago gay mafia to New York by promoting pro-gay Ronald Hicks, a disciple of the homosexual and Satanist Predator Joseph Bernardin and anti-Catholic apostate pro-gay Blase Cupich
Pope Leo XIV has appointed Bishop Ron Hicks, 58, of Joliet, Illinois, as the 11th Archbishop of New York. Monsignor Hicks was ordained as a priest in 1994 by likely homosexual Cardinal Joseph Bernardin. He was ordained as an auxiliary bishop by pro-homosexual Cardinal Blase Cupich, whom he owes his entire carreer. Cardinal Timothy Dolan, who has led the Archdiocese of New York since 2009, will be remembered for permitting a transvestite show funeral for homosexual activist Cecilia Gentili at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in February 2024. In all likelihood, substantively, Bishop Hicks will not differ significantly from Cardinal Dolan. First Generation-X Prelate at Major US Archdiocese Bishop Hicks will be the first Generation-X prelate (born roughly between 1965 and 1980) to hold a major U.S. see. He comes from a very different era of seminary formation. The Archbishop of New York is traditionally appointed a cardinal. From 2005 to 2010, Bishop Hicks spent five years on missionary assignment …More
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no wonder: for Satan himself transformeth himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers be transformed as the ministers of justice, whose end shall be according to their works.
The Mediocre and the "Mediocrats" Folha de S. Paulo, June 20th 1981 By Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira It was to France's center and right that I directed the questions, or rather, objurgatory interrogations of my last article. Note that it was written before the first round of elections to the legislature. However, I wasn't thinking indiscriminately of all those who make up these currents. The centrists and rightists who were responsible for the Mitterrand catastrophe constitute a large family of souls made up almost exclusively of mediocrities gathered in a doctrinal context that is vaguely "non communist" but that avoids the adjective "anticommunist." My reproaches were thus specifically directed to the mediocre of the center and the right, including those who, though not voting for Mitterrand, were weak, soft, and careless in the pre-electoral fight. *** Here I distinguish between the mediocre and the average. A person his just as much right to be average as he does to be born with abundant …More
Wed Dec 17, 2025 - 2:18 pm EST ANN ARBOR, Michigan (LifeSiteNews) – The University of Michigan (UMich) has sparked controversy by “celebrating” the infamous “Doctor Death” Jack Kevorkian as one of 175 notable alumni to come out of its Medical School. Kevorkian was a Michigan physician and “right to die” advocate who illegally facilitated the assisted suicides of 130 patients. In 1999 he was sentenced to 10-25 years for his role in the nationally televised death of a man with Lou Gehrig’s disease, but served only eight before being released on parole. He was barred from resuming his most infamous practice, but continued to advocate for euthanasia until his death in 2012 at age 83. The fall issue of UMich’s “Medicine at Michigan” features is dedicated to “Celebrating 175 years of the Medical School with stories of the ‘leaders and best.’” Entry #141 on the list is Kevorkian, who is credited with having “changed the national conversation on physician-assisted suicide.” Author …
