John Paul II referred to Andean goddess Pachamama in a May 11 1988 homily during his trip to Bolivia.
He spoke about God who takes care of birds, lilies and grass, and added,
“This is the work of God, who knows that we need the food that the earth produces, that varied and expressive reality that your ancestors called the ‘Pachamama’ and that reflects the work of divine Providence by offering us His gifts for the good of man.”
Vatican.va published the homily in Spanish and Italian.

The apostolic holy mass is the best. I am the orthodox priest. But after my work against the abortion, I lost my job and I am 5 years without the salary. I like Catholics, but I do not like the sin. Polish language and me: www.youtube.com For @W obronie Tradycji Kościoła

It is not my sin, that the orthodox Byzantine kings and Russian kings and patriarchs and bishops allowed the divorces and new weddings after 1054 year. I did not allowed any weddings after the divorce. For @W obronie Tradycji Kościoła

@Libor Halik Good evening. Are you aware that there is usually a key passage missing from your Orthodox Bible? Are you aware that St Peter was invested with the role of Prime Minister by Christ the King of Israel? @Libor Halik Good evening. Are you aware that there is usually a key passage missing from your Orthodox Bible? Are you aware that St Peter was invested with the role of Prime Minister by Christ the King of Israel? See Matthew 16:19 and then read this, first in YOUR text of Isaiah 22:22 and then this version in the Dead Sea Scrolls. It matches none Orthodox Bibles. Christ is forever the King of Israel, and what is not known by Orthodox, is that every King of Israel elected a Prime Minister (all Kings do the same today) to look after the Kingdom and set laws whilst the King was otherwise occupied or away on Business. It is clear that the Orthodox know this and have taken the "binding and losing" authority out of the Text of Isaiah 22:22 so that souls can not inadvertently see it and connect the two texts. God Bless. Hope you don't object

Yeah, that's a real S_T_R_E_T_C_H to say that he is praising PM. He is actually praising God and his providence.

I guess we see through different filters. I understand your assumption of JP II's motivations, but I do believe it was his style to break through to others to be able to then bring them to Christ. I believe JP II had a simple but strong faith and that he was surrounded by wolves. I think he gave the benefit of doubt to many times and relied on miraculous intervention when he should have been more aggressive in managing the bishops and cardinals around him. I think he was always trying to balance all his actions as to keep peace within the church. I believe that he should have been more firm--but I do not question his heart. Hindsight is 20/20 and it is easy to be an armchair quarterback when not actually knowing all that was going on at the time.

I am watching. I am ready to enter into battle !!!!!!!!!!!!!! But the enemy will try to divide his enemy as to conquer. I think most of us here are on the same team but love to be able to express ourselves. I hope we are praying more then talking. I include myself!!

I do care about Francis' motivations, because if I believe his agenda is motivated by masonic and political beliefs then I have to be suspicious of the things he does or says that appear good but are actually not.

His life under The Nazi rule and then Communist rule in Poland might have made him more sympathetic ? He wasn't perfect and made mistakes (that 2/20 hindsight thing again) but He loved the church and had a deep faith. Better at sales then management ?? They were coming at him from all sides. God willing we may know the whole story and all that was involved some day. I am not as quick to make to …More

I'm guessing the Good Lord will talk to all of us about our actions and our intentions one day.

🤫 ⛔✋One moment Pope John Paul II did not praise the Pachamama but the Providence of God. The malicious liberals are those who want to misrepresent the quote. The evangelizing message of JPII resembles what the Apostle Paul did in Athens here Pope John Paul II explained to them that what the indigenous ancestors called Pachamama is actually the Work of God, not of the earth itself. .

Among the good brought by Spanish missionaries to the native Bolivian's ancestors was the Light of Christ, lifting them out of the darkness surrounding Pachamama "worship." While I admire and love JP II, he was conflicted in many ways, including protecting some really evil clerics, and his Assisi debacles.
