@chris griffin Chris I want to take a different approach with you! Why do you want to continue to "kick against the goad". from the Douay Rheims, Acts 26:14. Jesus says to Saul (later Paul) "And when we were all fallen down on the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me in the Hebrew tongue: Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? It is hard for thee to kick against the goad". Goad means a long sharp pointed stick used to prod an animal that is being guided. It's like giving yourself self inflicted pain. Even though you have free will, It is futile to resist God's direction.
Why do you put so much energy toward, your words "Catholics may deny that in good faith. Why don't you try to understand the whole act of salvation history and put your energy toward, the love for Our Lord Jesus and Our Blessed Mother Mary. Instead of "kicking against the goad".

Pán Ježíš Kristus je Cesta, tj. Cesta k Bohu. Co je to za hloupost, že by měla k Cestě vést další cesta přes nějakou Marii? Kde jste takové nápady nabrali? To vyučují v kostelech? Nebo to píší na internetu na stránkách vesmírných lidí? Tak Pán Ježíš Kristus je Cesta a na tu Cestu se nejlépe dostaneme skrze jinou cestu? Jako nějaký průchod? TerezaK, dej si do pořádku vtahy s manželem, aby ses zklidnila a abys tu tak hloupě nehalucinovala.

Bien-sûr, Notre-Seigneur n'avait aucun besoin de la Sainte Vierge pour nous sauver, il n'avait pas non plus besoin de mourir sur une croix dans d'horribles souffrances pour nous sauver. Est-ce que sainte Bernadette, qui ignorait jusqu'à son catéchisme, n'aimait pas pour cela la Sainte Vierge d'un amour très pur? Ne laissons pas notre jugement être obscurci par notre émotivité ou nos passions déréglées. Ne soyons pas trop attachés à la lettre mais plutôt à son esprit. Marie, la plus humble des créatures n'a que faire de nos titres, elle qui ne vit que pour son Fils.
Selon une représentation, Marie est comme le "cou" reliant la tête (le Christ) au "corps mystique" qu'est l'Eglise. Toute passe par le cou, et dans les deux sens. Pour s'unir vraiment au Christ, il faut passer par Marie.
