Pittsburgh Bishop David Zubik has "banned" the use of communion rails. Fact is, he has no authority to do so.
Zubik has already "forbidden" celebrating toward the Lord.
His arbitrary action came to light when Father Chris Donley of Epiphany Parish in Pittsburgh wrote to his parishioners in a recent letter (published by DC Rosary Rally for the Latin Mass, November 9) that “we can no longer use the communion rail for reception of the Eucharist.”
Zubik has asked the priest "to unite" with other parishes in the diocese. Donley put a good face on the matter, “While changing the way we receive Communion is hard and has saddened us, we can continue to have beautiful encounters in our reception of the Lord in unity with our diocese”, he writes.

Altar rails make receiving the Eucharist much easier and more reverent. Why would anyone be against people kneeling for the Lord? Honestly, if you think kneeling to receive the body of Christ is a problem, perhaps you don't believe in His divinity.
This is the "Modernists Hall" where, if Tucho and Co. get their way, it will have women celebrants (that look very manly); married priests (with a wife and child probably in the sacristy waiting for him to be done to get to the store); 2 men waiting to have their 'union' deemed "holy"(not blessed); and 2 humans holding a baby while a bunch of different humans keep clapping for the 'water' to be …More

Take over the wealth of the Catholic World... of course! And the so-obedient Catholic Cardinals, Bishops, Priests, Friars, Deacons.... and laity are just letting it happen.... because they are so "obedient" to someone who is NOT who they 'obey' him to be! When will everyone wake up? This is too similar to the 'forced injections lockdowns)! ![😷](/emoji/f09f98b7)

With the world and the Church going up in flames, a rather curious priority choice.

@123jussi agreed. You won't find any trannie godparents, communion given to the divorced and remarried, or gay marriage-blessings in a SSPX chapel. They remain committed to Catholic orthodoxy.

Why do these people hate the traditional Church (the real Catholic Church) so much?

Because Satan hates everything that pleases God. And these guys are all servants of Satan, whether they realize it or not.

But of course, it is because St. Paul Cathedral is not the “Roman” Catholic Church. The Novus Order do not identify themselves as being Roman Catholic. Roman Catholic Churches have communion rails.

I showed my Grandmother this article, because when she and my Granddad first came to the USA from Japan, they lived for less than a year in Pittsburgh. She said this bishop reminds her of a showman/musician who was enormously popular when they first arrived in the USA, someone named Liberace. I looked him up. Great musician he was for sure, but he was also gay.
Thankfully, there is a very active and wonderful ICK parish in Pittsburgh! institute-christ-king.org/pittsburgh-home

If bishops want to turn normie conservative Catholics into radical traditionalists ( or Eastern Orthodox), this is a good way to do it.

Another glimpse of the “listening Church”. They listen to you before kicking you in the teeth.
