Archbishop Ronald Hicks of New York receives the pallium - a vestment which is a symbol of authority - from Pope Leo XIV in St Peter's Basilica. 34 other recently appointed archbishops also received the pallium today (Feast of Sts Peter & Paul).
What do you think? Mons Conley: "The faithful should not be forced to go to a community separate from Peter to find the Traditional Mass"
Bishop James Conley, Lincoln: "There is a resurgence of interest in all things traditional, especially among young people. I see it in my own diocese. They want reverence. They want transcendence. They want beauty in the liturgy." "Thanks be to God we have not only the Fraternity of Saint Peter, but I have a couple of priests who celebrate, with permission of the Holy See, a Sunday Mass in the Extraordinary Form... It's my hope that as they continue to ordain priests... they will be able to meet the needs of the people who desire this form of the Mass." "So don't give up and don't jump ship."
"Climate change funds communism." THE GREATEST MONEY-LAUNDERING OPERATION ON THE PLANET, all in the name of "socialism," happening in broad daylight. John Podesta is overseeing a $375 billion climate fund authorized through Biden's Inflation Reduction Act, which the author claims is being funneled to NGOs and activist organizations with little public accountability. Billions went to environmental groups, including $20 billion to newly created organizations, $7 billion to a Maryland climate group, and $2 billion to a Stacey Abrams-linked organization. It also claims tens of millions were directed to organizations the author describes as extremist or anti-police.

Tipjar: buymeacoffee.com/torresangelica Part 3 - Ineffabilis Deus - Liturgical Argument - Definition of the Immaculate Conception Holy Mother Church fostered this doctrine age after age in many ways and by solemn acts. Liturgical Argument. The Catholic Church, directed by the Holy Spirit of God, is the pillar and base of truth and has ever held as divinely revealed and as contained in the deposit of heavenly revelation this doctrine concerning the original innocence of the august Virgin — a doctrine which is so perfectly in harmony with her wonderful sanctity and preeminent dignity as Mother of God — and thus has never ceased to explain, to teach and to foster this doctrine age after age in many ways and by solemn acts. From this very doctrine, flourishing and wondrously propagated in the Catholic world through the efforts and zeal of the bishops, was made very clear by the Church when she did not hesitate to present for the public devotion and veneration of the faithful the Feast of …More
The Catholic church did not hesitate to present for the public devotion and veneration of the faithful the Feast of the Conception of the Blessed Virgin.
Louise Sighouin, the daughter of a Coeur d'Alene chief, embraced the Catholic faith after being baptized by Jesuit missionary Father Pierre-Jean de Smet in 1842, following the arrival of missionaries invited by Indigenous communities seeking Christian teaching. Known for her generosity and wisdom even before her conversion, she became a devoted catechist who taught the faith, cared for the sick, encouraged others, and helped spread Christianity among her people. De Smet regarded her as an extraordinary example of Indigenous Christian holiness, believing that her life reflected the transforming power of the Gospel despite the missionaries' language and cultural challenges. She remained a respected evangelizer until her death in 1853, leaving a lasting legacy within the Coeur d'Alene Catholic community.
Here's the "Great Conversion Story of Louise Sighouin" from the Magnificat and written by John Janaro. He's an associate professor emeritus of theology at Christendom College. His blog can be found here. Sadly, this kind of evangelizing story can no longer be publicly told. Conversion to Christianity has become something negative. It's now associated with white supremacy, colonization and oppression. In Canada, the early Jesuit martyrs have been pretty much forgotten. Their story of spreading the Gospel to the Indigneous peoples of Canada is politically incorrect and often edited if told. We must not commit the woke "sin" of cultural appropriation. Nevetheless, here's the inspiring story of Louise Sighouin. In this series, we have already heard something of the mid 19th century missionary journeys of Father Pierre-Jean de Smetand his Jesuit confreres, who came from Belgium and France to Missouri beginning in 1823. At that time, Missouri was the frontier of the rapidly expanding United …
28. June 2026 28. June 2026 06/28/2026 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. If Russia continues fighting this “war of attrition” for years to come instead of decisively ending it soon, then it’ll be more vulnerable than ever to the “cordon sanitaire’s” invasion threats around 2030, thus compelling it to either capitulate or resort to nuclear weapons in self-defense. Andrew Korybko wrote this text on Thursday in an article on his blog korybko.substack.com: What’s The Likelihood Of A NATO-Russian Clash Around 2030? More tanks, more aircraft, more submarines, and a numerically stronger NATO army—this is how NATO strategists justify their chances of victory in the conflict with Russia they dream of. In doing so, they deliberately gloss over the far greater advantage held by the U.S.-Israel coalition over Iran and the consequences of their aggression. This irresponsible, criminal adventure ended with the unconditional surrender of the United States. Only Israel, despite its catastrophic …
Maybe if the evil ones from NATO including the US would stop giving INTEL, money and weapons along with ammo, maybe it will end quicker. Ya think? Besides Putin is a man of great patience. And he is going slow to avoid killing men on both sides. Don't know how many times I have to say this. But once again, I am! Besides trump and his administration has been playing with Putin and Russia for awhile now. They finally admitted they are on the side of Ukraine. Which any honest person could see from day one. And that they are not intermediators. Imagine that, having all those talks and didn't mean any of it. Imagine President Putin so anxious to come to America to see a man he thought was his friend. Only to find out it was all lies and deceptions. Playing with Putin and Russia.
@mccallanste... It doesn't taste good at all people only think it does. I was eating there regularly until I got fat and changed a couple 9f things. After half a year and after a party I got my favorite burger there... I couldn't believe how bad it was!
I'm mystified as to why anyone would by anything at Mcdonals. It's fake food and makes you sick. But, I'm sure it tastes good and that is what the modern consumer is most concerned about. Side note; They do have excellent coffee at good prices.
Blessed Pedro De Gante - June 29 Pieter van der Moere, also known as Brother Pedro de Gante or Pedro de Mura (c. 1480 – 1572) was a Franciscanmissionary in sixteenth century Mexico. Born in Geraardsbergen in present-day Belgium, he was of Flemish descent. Since Flanders, like Spain, belonged to the Habsburg Empire and he was a relative of King Charles V (he was thought to be a bastard son of Emperor Maximilian ), he was allowed to travel to the colonies of New Spain as one of a group of Franciscan friars. Gante's group in fact arrived before the 12 Franciscans normally thought of as the first friars in New Spain. In Mexico he spent his life as a missionary, teaching the indigenous population in Christian catechism and dogma. He learned Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs, and composed a Christian "doctrina". One of his most significant contributions to Mexico was the creation of the School of San Jose de los Naturales. This was the first school set up by Europeans in …More
The implementation phase of the synod “will mark a new stage in the reception of the Second Vatican Council,” Cardinal Mario Grech warned the consistory on Saturday. He is a Cardinal and the Vatican's Secretary of the Synod. His lengthy speech, which was around 3,000 words long, was published on Zenit.org. Much of it was repetitive, focusing on buzzwords such as listening, discernment, communion, participation, the 'exchange of gifts', implementation, and 'conversation in the Spirit'. In terms of density of ideas, the speech was low. The essential message was • the Synod is not over. • implementation is the real work. • synodality should become part of the Church's ordinary life. • this is the next stage of Vatican II. Two key sentences were: "The discernment of the signs of the times, ecumenical and interreligious dialogue, and the commitment to justice and peace become measures of the Church's diakonia." "In this way, the implementation phase becomes a new stage in the reception …More

2 Peter 2:3 And in their greed they will exploit you with false words; from of old their condemnation has not been idle, and their destruction has not been asleep. Prevost promotes a false gospel of perdition while living as a parasite on Catholics' money. That is where the simony begins.
Italian Secular Press Features Roman Mass: Today's front page of Il Giornale gives prominence to the Mass in the Roman rite. Nico Spuntoni reports on growing concern within the Consistory over the situation of the FSSPX, with the headline: "The Lefebvrist Rift That Alarms the Consistory." Alongside it, editor-in-chief Tommaso Cerno devotes his editorial to the place of Latin in the Church, arguing under the title "Why the Future Speaks Latin" that the long-held assumption that Latin belongs only to the past deserves to be reconsidered.
