“It’s very clear to me that there was more unity in the Church when we were living under Summorum Pontificum than we are now under Traditionis Custodes.”
Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco made the remarks in an interview with TribuneChretienne.com on October 8.
He said that the radical liturgical changes following Vatican II had damaged, and in some cases even destroyed, Catholics’ faith.
Cordileone also pointed to a generational reversal: Young Catholics increasingly seek to recover tradition, while older generations remain attached to the changes introduced in their youth. What still feels new to the Vatican II generation, he observed, looks like a bygone era to young Catholics, who are searching for something timeless.

1. The Church has unity. Not "more or less" but unity (of Faith and worship) as the basis/basic characteristics. If there is no such unity, well, you should search for the Church in another place.
2. If he said: It’s very clear to me that there was the greater fiction of unity between the Church and the neo-modernist Revolution when we were living under Summorum Pontificum than we are now under Traditionis Custodes, I would say: true indeed but he prefers to present the false description/diagnosis.
3. No Catholic is "under Traditionis Custodes" as that tyrannical document is null and void. Only "dumb dogs" prophesized by Isaias (Is 56) - sleeping and loving dreams - are under it.

Papal Infallibility Does Not Mean Papal Perfection
Papal infallibility does not mean the pope is perfect or immune to error. It only applies to formal proclamations of dogma regarding faith and morals, made with the intention of teaching the entire church. While the pope is a sinner and can make mistakes, the grace of the papacy allows him to speak infallibly when necessary.

Ah that asymptotic phrase!

Here’s where we’ve arrived. In the presence of the Holy Father, during an event dedicated to the nefarious document *Amoris Laetitia* — of the now-deceased Argentine pope (though the disastrous effects of his pontificate still persist) — a nun suggests that Jesus’ initial approach toward the Samaritan woman was... a flirt. “A theory elaborated by one of my Dominican confreres.” The blasphemous nun, Sister Helen Alford, O.P., is the president of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences.

At the Vatican’s Amoris Laetitia anniversary event, Sr. Helen Alford, O.P., approvingly presented a fellow Dominican’s “provocative” description of Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman as beginning with a “flirt” — adding that “the ambiguity persists” before Christ confronts her with the truth.

Aquinas Wisdom

"It is impossible for any created good to constitute man's happiness. For happiness is the perfect good, which lulls the appetite altogether; else it would not be the last end, if something yet remained to be desired. Now the object of the will, i.e. of man's appetite, is the universal good; just as the object of the intellect is the universal true. Hence it is evident that naught can lull man's will, save the universal good. This is to be found, not in any creature, but in God alone; because every creature has goodness by participation. Wherefore God alone can satisfy the will of man, according to the words of Ps. 102:5: "Who satisfieth thy desire with good things." Therefore God alone constitutes man's happiness."

Leo XIV appoints religious sister – lobbying for female ordinations – to senior leadership position in the Roman Curia.
On October 8, Pope Leo XIV appointed Sister Mary Teresa Barron as Adjunct Secretary of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Evangelization and President of the Pontifical Mission Societies. The Pontifical Mission Societies is a global network supporting missionary activity, particularly in Africa, Asia, Oceania and parts of Latin America.
Born in Ireland, Sr. Mary became a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Apostles. The missionary congregation was founded in Lyon, France, in 1876 for evangelization, particularly in Africa.
“Some women sense a call to priesthood”
At a Vatican press conference during the Synod on Synodality in 2024, Sister Barron argued for the ordination of women:
“Is the Spirit calling women? Because some women do sense a call to priesthood or diaconate.”
Sister Barron believes that “we have to look at broader than just can or can we not …More

The Church’s “Special Forces”…
Liturgy of October 11, 2026– 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Dear brothers and sisters, the saints—like Saint Paul—are part of the Church’s “special forces,” so to speak; in fact, they are trained by God to face every situation, even extreme ones, in order to carry on the cause of the Gospel…
Indeed, in the passage from the Letter to the Philippians that we're going to listen to on Sunday, October 11, Saint Paul states: “I am trained for anything and everything—for plenty and for hunger, for abundance and for want” (Phil 4:12-13).
With an unshakeable fidelity to Christ: “Who, then, will separate us from the love of Christ? Tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or hunger, or nakedness, or danger, or the sword? Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Rom 8:35, 37).
Ready to die in order to win brothers and sisters for God. “I have made myself all things to all people, so that by all means I might save some” (1 Corinthians …More

BREAKING! According to hearsay, the Mostar bishops Žanič and Perič were allegedly "victims of slander"—a claim reported by some websites based solely on assertions made to serve a specific agenda. This stirred-up "Medjugorje controversy," propagated by numerous opponents of the Queen of Peace apparitions, reeks of malicious intent—or even a coordinated campaign. Yet, the opponents of the Queen of Peace apparitions have "forgotten"—or simply refuse to see—and are sweeping under the rug the objective, accessible facts regarding the very matters they claim to "refute" through mere hearsay. It focuses on testimonies, history, and personal faith, resonating particularly with Christian audiences. Independent Documentary Filmmaking: This is not a mainstream Hollywood blockbuster but a specialized documentary with a religious theme.

Leo XIV outlines the purpose of this Synodal meeting discussing Amoris laetitia: “The Church has spent these 10 years receiving Amoris Letitia and walking with families in very different circumstances. We too bring stories of what God has done among us. Their stories gathered along the path of mission, stories of conversion, of unexpected fruit, and of the relationships God has woven within families, is our communities have sought to accompany them. Together with the difficulties we have faced, the questions that have emerged, and what we have learned along the way, they give us confidence as we begin our work together. Let us place them before the Lord, share them with one another. Seeking to recognise what God has been doing among us, and where His spirit is leading the Church today.”

Very tense exchange between Bérénice, a doctor of philosophy and professor, and Elwan, a 17-year-old high school student. As he challenges her legitimacy to speak about school, she responds: "This young man is not going to explain to me what a teacher's mission is." Then she recalls what she considers to be the role of the educator: to transmit "the heritage of past centuries" and "the great works." Before concluding, dryly: "I am the possessor of knowledge and you are not. You are a student." A sequence that sums up the debate on authority in school all by itself.
