Wed May 6, 2026 - 7:22 pm EDT (LifeSiteNews) — The Council of Melkite Greek Catholic Bishops in Lebanon has voiced deep concern over Israeli military demolitions of civilian homes and religious buildings in areas of southern Lebanon under Israeli control. In a statement reported by the Associated Press on Monday, the bishops urged the Lebanese government and the United Nations to intervene and protect the property of civilians and religious institutions. They described the destruction — carried out after residents obeyed Israeli evacuation orders — as “a deep wound in the national and human conscience.” The bishops’ appeal centers on events in the village of Yaroun, where Israeli soldiers bulldozed a Melkite convent belonging to the Greek Catholic Basilian Salvatorian Sisters earlier this month. The convent, which also supported local education through an associated school run by the Sisters of the Holy Savior, had been evacuated at the outset of intensified fighting. Its two resident …
The Diocese of Amiens, northern France, has announced that it will not renew the mission of three conservative priests from the Diocese of Fréjus-Toulon after months of “growing tensions” within the parishes. Fathers François-Régis Favre, Éloi Legrand, and Pierre-Marie Brochery, began serving in the parishes of Albert, Bray-sur-Somme, Mailly-Maillet, and Acheux in September 2025. They will depart at the end of the current pastoral year. In a statement released on April 27, Bishop Gérard Le Stang said the decision followed “a long period of reflection” and consultations with diocesan clergy and parishioners. He described the situation as having created a “deep and lasting disruption” within the communities. Cassocks, Novus Ordo in Latin The priests drew criticism from some parishioners for wearing cassocks, celebrating the Novus Ordo partly in Latin, and emphasizing moral teaching. Complaints also emerged regarding what some described as divisive preaching. One deacon reportedly …More
A recent report from veteran Vatican journalist Nico Spuntoni (mentioned in English at Diane Montagna’s Substack) mentions that Rome: “… is concerned about the pastoral care of the persons (i.e. clergy) connected to the Society who do not intend to remain in it after a further break with Rome.” This should come as no surprise, as the Church has historically tried to limit the fallout of excommunications and schisms. Yet this presents an interesting question: what can Rome offer in terms of “pastoral” care to priests affiliated with the Society? I know there are some of my brethren who think Rome’s response will be quite limited, but I think that is a risky proposition. In the eyes of Rome, the Society will now have had two generations of episcopal lineage consecrated in opposition to Rome. The 1988 consecrations did not necessarily (and did not in the end) create a parallel hierarchy. The act of illicitly consecrated bishops consecrating their successors illicitly effectively creates …
Synod.va published on May 5 the final report of Study Group number 7 on the selection of bishops: “In the selection of a bishop, it is necessary to consider, among other qualities, his ‘synodal competencies’.” (page 3) At least, the document also mentions Catholic criteria: “Among the qualities sought in a bishop are moral integrity, doctrinal orthodoxy, pastoral sensitivity, leadership ability, and the capacity to administer the Church’s goods.” (page 3) The main idea of the report is expanding lay influence in bishop selection: “The cathedral chapter… finance council… lay council… youth and the poor should also be convened.” (page 4) The report proposes that, when a diocese is vacant, a committee be established to work with the Apostolic Nuncio, consisting of priests, consecrated religious, and laypersons. (page 5) Informants should include women, youth, academics, ecclesial movement members, the poor, marginalized persons, and representatives of Indigenous or minority communities. …More
Since Rome has lost the faith and is the seat of the Antichrist, it is worth noting that the synod of apostates—homosexual activists and worshippers of Pachamama—consults with non-believers, apostates, and enemies of God and of the Church.
They even dare to condemn with one hand indifferentism, promoting it with the other hand e.g.: x.com/FrDaveNix/status/2051641439495377182 What they are in fact saying is: external enemies of the Church are OK, do not bother with them. And it is not Catholic.
Unity Among the Wicked Apostate Robert Prevost: “To the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Dame Sarah Mullally Archbishop of Canterbury” Prevost despises the priesthood and the papacy instituted by Christ; he maliciously affirmed the impenitent heretical woman—disguised as a bishop—in her flagrant profanation of the Sacrament of the Priesthood. Prevost maliciously using the name of Christ carried out his vendetta against the male priesthood instituted by Christ and against his Church 2 Corinthians 11:13-16 For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no wonder: for Satan himself transformeth himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers be transformed as the ministers of justice, whose end shall be according to their works. Primus inter pares The Archbishop of Canterbury holds a unique position as the first among equals within the Anglican Communion. This title, often referred to as "Primus …More

Islamists attacked the parish of St. Louis de Montfort in Meza, Cabo Delgado, northern Mozambique, on April 30. According to Aid to the Church in Need (ACN), militants entered the parish in the afternoon and destroyed the church, parish offices, missionaries’ residence, and kindergarten. Buildings were set on fire and the historic church was reduced to rubble. The parish was founded in 1946 and was one of the main Catholic landmarks in the region. Bishop António Juliasse of Pemba said civilians were captured and forced to listen to speeches during the attack. The Cameroonian missionaries serving the parish were not present when the attackers arrived and were unharmed. There were no confirmed deaths during the April 30 attack. The insurgency in Cabo Delgado has continued since 2017 and has caused thousands of deaths and displaced more than one million people. Church officials say at least 118 churches and chapels have been destroyed during the conflict. Picture: ACN, #newsQveepjzxvl

1) Light and darkness have nothing in common: a) 2 Corinthians 6: 14-16; "Do not harness yourselves in an uneven team with unbelievers. Virtue is no companion for crime. Light and darkness have nothing in common Christ is not the ally of Beliar, nor has a believer anything to share with an unbeliever. The temple of God has no common ground with idols, and that is what we are-the temple of the living God". b) 1 Corinthians 10:20-22: "But I say that the things which the gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I don’t desire that you would have fellowship with demons". You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons. Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy?" c) 2 Peter 2: 1-3; "As there were false prophets in the past history of our people, so you too will have your false teachers, who will teach their own disruptive views and disown the Master who purchased their freedom. …More
Today, Synod.va published the final report from Study Group 9 on theological criteria and synodal methodologies for discerning doctrinal, pastoral, and ethical questions. It is de facto on homosexuality. The report rejects the term “controversial” and says such matters should be treated as “emerging” issues (page 6). Repeatedly, it speaks of an alleged “paradigm shift” in how the Church interprets the teaching: “The commitment to practising the synodal nature of the Church implies the implementation of a ‘paradigm shift.’” (page 8) The final report even analogizes present ecclesial disputes to the Jerusalem Council’s overturning of circumcision requirements. It demands that synodal outcomes should not be predetermined by “pre-established formulas.” And: “The Church’s mission is not a matter of abstractly proclaiming and deductively applying principles...” (page 9) The final report invents “the stability of a healthy affective relationship” in homosexual contexts as a positive …More
Vatican Synodal Reports Assaults Holy Scripture – Bishop Strickland: The report by the Vatican's synodal group on homosexuality “is deeply alarming and stands in direct contradiction to the constant teaching of the Catholic Church”, writes Bishop Joseph Strickland: “To suggest that the sin does not consist in the same-sex relationship itself is not merely confusing language. It is a direct assault upon Catholic moral doctrine and upon the words of Scripture itself.” Monsignor Strickland adds that this atmosphere of doctrinal instability is part of the reason why the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X argues that extraordinary measures are necessary in our time.
The destruction of doctrine under the language of “discernment,” “listening,” & “lived experience” is one of the gravest spiritual dangers of our time. Truth is not determined by experience. Truth is revealed by God An Emergency in the Church - Pillars of Faith
Although he led and was at the center of the heinous debacle of lies, treachery and betrayal perpetrated against John Henry Westen, at least Strickland is willing to speak out against sodomy…..small mercies.

'Regardless of the report, the Catholic Churchteachesthat homosexual activity is mortally sinful and that homosexual inclinations are “objectively disordered.” TheCatechism of the Catholic Churchstates: “Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that ‘homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.’”
Tue May 5, 2026 - 12:08 pm EDTTue May 5, 2026 - 5:40 pm EDT (LifeSiteNews) — A report from the Vatican’s General Secretariat of the Synod published Tuesday suggests a reframing of homosexuality, endorsing testimony without qualification that “sin, at its root, does not consist in the (same-sex) couple relationship” but in “a lack of faith in a God who desires our fulfilment.” The Vatican-commissioned Study Group 9 of the Synod on Synodality published its Final Report May 5, “Theological criteria and synodal methodologies for shared discernment of emerging doctrinal, pastoral, and ethical issues.” Under the heading, “Taking a synodal approach to discernment: A proposal for implementation in local Churches,” the 32-page document relies on the testimonies of the “lived experience” of two individuals with same-sex attraction to “aid the promotion of pastoral discernment.” Framing the two testimonies as “experiences of goodness” which constitute “successive stages of development in …
