First Reactions: No To Francis' Homosex Blessings - Bishop Strickland
Bishops and journalists comment on Francis' document "Fiducia supplicans" which "allows" practising homosexuals to be "blessed". Homosexualist James Martin SJ: "Be wary of the 'nothing has changed' …More
Homosexualist James Martin SJ: "Be wary of the 'nothing has changed' response to today's news. It's a significant change. In short, yesterday, as a priest, I was forbidden to bless same-sex couples at all. Today, with some limitations, I can".
Bishop Georg Bätzing, President of the German Bishops' Conference: "It is good that a treasure for the diversity of lifestyles is now being unearthed."
Bishop Joseph Strickland addresses the other bishops and says "that we all join with a voice of strength and joy in the Lord in these last days of Advent and say 'no' to this latest document. We really simply need to be a united voice saying 'no', we will not respond to this".
Former Vicar General Michael Fuchs of Regensburg Diocese, Germany: "Not with me."
Damian Thompson: "Francis and Fernandez delight in slippery language. I can imagine them chuckling at the confusion …More

This is how the arch apostate Jorge Mario Bergoglio Sívori got rid of the good Bishops in Argentina.

Journalist Francisco Jose de la Cigoña December 23, 2011 On Bergoglio's personality and his tricks: Under the arch-manifest signs of humility that he displays, Bergoglio hides many desires for real power...His specialty is the accusation of bishops for alleged homosexuality, or affinity with homosexuality, or for the protection of homosexuals in their seminaries or in the clergy. Another of his tools is the accusation of psychological problems.

@Lisi Sterndorfer I suggest Archbishop Cordileone reads this: vatican.va/…con_cfaith_doc_19861001_homosexual-persons_en.html and this: Responsum of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith to a dubium regarding the blessing of the unions of persons of the same sex and lets us know how the teaching found in these documents can be reconciled with the new document. I've always wondered about …More

@Wilma Lopez I agree 100%. Spiteful 'gay' activists will target traditional communities (whether they actually want a 'blessing' or not) and demand one, and if they are refused, try to get the priests in trouble with the ecclesiastical or civil authorities. Then the local Ordinary, backed up by Francis and +Roche can wade in and shut the traditional community down on the excuse of them being '…More

A Life Pleasing to God
4 Finally, brothers and sisters,[a] we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus that, as you learned from us how you ought to live and to please God (as, in fact, you are doing), you should do so more and more. 2 For you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus. 3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from fornication; 4 that each …More
4 Finally, brothers and sisters,[a] we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus that, as you learned from us how you ought to live and to please God (as, in fact, you are doing), you should do so more and more. 2 For you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus. 3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from fornication; 4 that each one of you know how to control your own body[b] in holiness and honor, 5 not with lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God; 6 that no one wrong or exploit a brother or sister[c] in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, just as we have already told you beforehand and solemnly warned you. 7 For God did not call us to impurity but in holiness. 8 Therefore whoever rejects this rejects not human authority but God, who also gives his Holy Spirit to you.

1 John 5:14-16

14 And this is the confidence which we have towards him: That, whatsoever we shall ask according to his will, he heareth us.

@CatMuse -"but also we must increase our prayers and penances." This will do little or nothing to solve the problem of the destruction of the Church. Rather, it is necessary to mount tidal waves of protests, marches, and other means to force "regime change" in the Vatican...the removal of apostate heretic Francis and his homosexual advisors. He might very well be that himself.
Some time ago, I …More
Some time ago, I remember seeing on television that when an Islamic shrine was vandalized in Iraq, 300,000 Muslims took to the streets to protest it's destruction. Today, tens of thousands across the USA in colleges and elsewhere (rightly or wrongly) are protesting Israel.
What faithful CAtholics should do, is mount huge protests in the USA, and especially in Rome, against this act of sin before God committed by heretic Pope Francis. A crowd marching thru Rome 25,000-50,000 would make the point.... not "increase our prayers and penances. "

The Church needs men. Real men to straighten out this infestation of filth. Men who talk like men and act like men. Men who will stand for the TRUTH and not be afraid to speak the truth.
Archbishop Vigano is the only voice I am aware of crying out in the desert and TRYING to do something about it. All the others, all the R&R crowd are useless. They are enablers.
Long live Archbishop Vigano. God …More

Where is Cardinal Raymond Burke? Not a squeek from him against this apostacy of his beloved "Holy Father" who drove him out of Rome and cut off his health insurance. Not a word against his "Holy Father" for that abuse. If I were Burke, I would have spilled everything I knew about the rot and corruption of Francis' Vatican and papacy, doing my best to ruin him and his associates. But not a word out …More

@Ursula Sankt -No excuses for Francis. There should have been NOTHING provided for homosexual blessings or anything else. Period. They should be considered like lepers, like they were until 50 years ago when all this talk of pastoral care of homosecuals was discussed in the Church. JPII had the right idea to try to squash it, as did Benedict XVI. But since Francis might be of a certain persuasion …More

Pope Benedict XVI: “The Pope is not an absolute monarch whose thoughts and desires are law… He must not proclaim his own ideas, but rather constantly bind himself and the Church to obedience to God's Word, in the face of every attempt to adapt it or water it down… It is incumbent upon him to ensure that this Word continues to be present in its greatness and to resound in its purity, so that it is …More
