What Mother Miriam says is one of the main reasons I will not return to the Church. I have nothing in my area that even resembles the faith of my ancestors. I’ve come to know way too much about liturgy and the remarkably simple Faith to sit in the pews and ignore the heresy, illiteracy, and laziness that I see there.
You are correct, the false church have ruined many things inside the Church, BUT the thing they shouldn’t have ruined is our faith within us, it is sad you're no longer catholic... and sincerely it is way too easy not to remain catholic these days with the way they've waterdown the faith, but its suppose to be hard, challenging and persecution should be expected in many ways.

But it's hard to recieve communion and to listen to the universal prayer and the homely without feeling awkward, sometimes. There are times when it fits the real faith, but other times, it's all about mondaine concerns. Hard to assist the mass when it happens... I still don't know how to handle that.
