"Devil" Beer Tap in Belgian Confessional: A deconsecrated church built in 1878 in Antwerp, Belgium, has served as a foyer for Theater Elckerlyc since 2025. One confessional now contains a token machine, while another has been fitted with a self-service Duvel 6.66% beer tap. "Duvel" is Dutch for "devil" and is also the name of a Belgian beer brand. An earlier report claimed the diocese had approved the concept, but the article was corrected on 10 June: the diocese says it was not involved in the redevelopment.

Devil installed in confessional with Church's blessing

Duvel - Flemish dialect word for Devil - beer vending machine in confessional in Antwerp: “The diocese even thought it was a good idea”
Antwerp “Is this really how we treat our ecclesiastical heritage?” Outrage has arisen on social media regarding two confessionals in the former Church of Our Lady of Grace on Frankrijklei, which has served as the foyer of Theater Elckerlyc since last year. You can no longer go there to confess your sins, but you can to buy tokens or tap a Duvel 6.66%.
Although both confessionals have been part of the foyer for more than a year, a new debate arose this week after a theatergoer shared a photo of the token vending machine in a confessional on Facebook. The person in question criticized the way religious heritage is being handled. The numerous responses show that the repurposing of ecclesiastical elements remains a sensitive subject for some people, even though the Church of Our Lady of Grace has been deconsecrated for quite some time and the building now …

Former atheist says Jesus Christ appeared to him in a dream as he hung off the edge of a cliff, crying for help. He didn’t understand the dream when he woke up. He figured it out later. But once he did, he could no longer remain an atheist. DR. SY GARTE: “I was hanging from the edge of a cliff, terrified. I didn’t know what to do, and I couldn’t climb up.” “I was holding on with my hands, and I screamed out, ‘Help. Help.’ I didn’t know who I was calling to. I just said, ‘Help, help.’ And I heard a voice say, ‘Just let go.’ And I said, ‘What? What? I fall down?’” “And the voice said, ‘Just let go.’ So I finally said, ‘Well, okay.’ So I let go. And the moment I let go, the entire landscape turned 90 degrees. And instead of hanging from a cliff, I was lying on the ground.” “And there was a man whose voice I had heard standing there. That was the man who said, ‘Just let go.’ I woke up, and I was like, ‘Whoa, what was that?’ I didn’t know what he meant by ‘just let go.’ I didn’t …More

Fake Abuse Claims - Chicago Archdiocese Can Continue Lawsuit

An Illinois judge ruled last week that the Archdiocese of Chicago may continue its lawsuit against a group of people accused of making false sexual abuse claims.
The lawsuit, filed in 2025, says that more than two dozen people took part in a plan to make false abuse accusations in order to receive money from settlement payments by the archdiocese.
According to court documents, the group allegedly recruited people to make claims, coached them on what to say, and shared the money received from settlements. The archdiocese says its investigation was helped by recorded prison phone calls in which the alleged scheme was discussed.
The recent ruling does not decide whether the allegations are true. It only rejects efforts to dismiss the case and allows the Archdiocese's lawsuit to continue.
The abuse claims involve former priest Daniel McCormack, who pleaded guilty in 2007 to several counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and has many confirmed victims.

Real-world example of private industry vs. government bureaucracy.

Results:

Thousands of Catholics unite across the world for historic Marian Eucharistic procession - LifeSite

Mon Jun 15, 2026 - 4:11 pm EDT
(
LifeSiteNews) — History was made on Saturday as 550 parishes and 16 Catholic Marian shrines across the globe processed with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, following the lead of 6,000 faithful in Derry, Ireland, in the first-ever united, worldwide Marian Eucharistic procession.
The outpouring of Catholics to pray for world peace, an end to the culture of death and of paganism, the conversion of souls, reparation for sin, and the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary shone as a bright ray of hope and real grace in a war-torn and spiritually dark world.
“These Eucharistic and Marian processions are like exorcisms on the land as our Blessed Mother crushes the head of evil,” said co-organizers Barry and Anthony of Guardians of the Faith, referring to the real spiritual power of Eucharistic processions explained by St. Peter Julian Eymard and other saints.
“The snakes which Saint Patrick cast out were only a symbolic term for the pagan spirits. Now, like …

Archbishop Viganò Reveals Cardinal Burke Advised Him to Live in Hiding

Today, Archbishop Carlo Viganò published the personal letter that he had sent to Pope Leo XIV in January. It appears that - despite Viganò having denied that Francis was a legitimate pope - he recognizes Leo XIV. Monsignor Viganò addresses Leo XIV as "Holiness," asks him to exercise his authority, and seeks an audience with him.
Archbishop Viganò recounts his long career in Vatican service, argues that he was punished for exposing corruption and doctrinal problems in the Church, explains how retirement led him to reject Vatican II and the post-conciliar direction of the Church, defends himself against the charge of schism, and urges Leo XIV to break with the errors of the Francis era and the synodal project.
The letter contains a noticeably heavy use of first-person pronouns and is full of self-reference, emphasis on personal integrity, descriptions of persecution and mistreatment, frequent presentation of himself as a key witness to major events, and relatively little self-criticism …More

Vigano, a true Apostle.

"Behold Jesus Christ crucified, Who is the only foundation of our hope; He is our Mediator and Advocate; the victim and sacrifice for our sins. He is goodness and patience itself; His mercy is moved by the tears of sinners, and He never refuses pardon and grace to those who ask it with a truly contrite and humbled heart. -----St. Charles Borromeo."

‘The Catholic Church - the Teacher of Mankind’ ~ Imprimatur, 1905 ~ ‘The Teachings of the Saints In Their Own Words’ ~ By a Parish Priest; Part 2 ~ Hope; pages 4-6

HOPE
Wait upon the Lord; be faithful to His commandments; He will elevate your hope, and put you in possession of His Kingdom. Wait upon Him patiently; wait upon Him by avoiding all sin. He will come, doubt it not; and in the approaching day of His visitation, which will be that of your death and His judgment, He will Himself crown your holy hope. Place all your hope in the Heart of Jesus; it is a safe asylum; for he who trusts in God is sheltered and protected by His mercy. To this firm hope, join the practice of virtue, and even in this life you will begin to taste the ineffable joys of Paradise. -----St. Bernard.
Not only think of the road through which thou art travelling, but take care never to lose sight of that blessed country in which thou art shortly to arrive. Thou meetest here with passing sufferings, but wilt soon enjoy everlasting rest. When thou lookest up to the recompense everything thou dost or sufferest will appear light, and no more than a shadow; it bears no proportion …More

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò to Leo XIV

A few weeks ago, I made public the events surrounding my request to meet with Leo – specifically, his initial acceptance, his sudden rescission, and then his definitive cancellation. While a Catholic Archbishop was deemed unworthy of being received in Audience, an abortionist and heterodox figure – in the guise of an Anglican “Archbishop” – merited not only the full honors of Vatican protocol but was even permitted to engage in “communicatio in sacris” with Leo and other Prelates, going so far as to impart a “blessing” within the shrine of the Prince of the Apostles. This serves only as further proof of the double standard applied by the proponents of the “synodal church.” I do not believe it is necessary to dwell on this with further commentary ... After long months of silence, the time has come to make known the contents of my letter to Leo of January 25th of this year, thereby establishing a documentary record of the matter.
Holiness, with this letter, I wish to offer for your …More

Why Does Leo XIV Appoint This Kind of Leadership to the Church? During Sunday Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Archbishop Ronald Hicks of New York celebrated the New York Knicks’ NBA championship victory with an embarrassing display of fandom, which included nervous giggling and requests for applause. Holding up a No. 11 Knicks jersey, he told worshippers that he had 'caught Knicks fever' and had watched the entire championship-winning match. He then showcased a FIFA shirt and a Puerto Rican hat to highlight New York’s major events that day. The performance quickly attracted attention online. Catholics on social media ridiculed the Archbishop, questioning Pope Leo XIV’s decision to appoint him as Archbishop of New York.

Where is the preaching of the faith?

All these infiltrated homosexual activists are members of the anti-Church who attack the Church from within—and, with Prevost’s complicity, they defy God. Just as Lucifer dragged a third of the angels along with him in his rebellion against God, Bergoglio and Prevost are dragging their own followers along with them. But God is not mocked with impunity; woe to them, for they are consummating their rebellion against God without the slightest repentance.

@Instaurare Omnia in Christo No proof, here, right now. Not even one! I just showed you three proofs regarding the "errors of Russia.". Three different sources that you didn't refute. Okay well you did say, "An old article." But actually that doesn't refute anything. Oh and something "RIGHT FROM PUTIN'S MOUTH," isn't proof, that is propaganda. In case you didn't know the KGB is an elite foreign espionage agency. "Putin served in the KGB from 1975 to 1991, reaching the rank of lieutenant colonel." So they are trained in espionage and lying you are going to believe them. Ok. And you said one writer was "untrustworthy" but that isn't proof either. At least you didn't try to get me to watch an RT video! LOL! You believe those are the Gospel truth!
