Our Lady Statue Found Intact After Caracas Earthquakes: Following the twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, an undamaged statue of Our Lady holding the Child Jesus was discovered amid the destruction in Caracas. As recovery efforts continued, local residents and workers carefully carried the statue away from the damaged area.

Australia’s fertility rate has plummeted. They’ve hit the lowest rate in history at 1.48 — well below the 2.1 replacement rate. The average age of mothers was 25 in 1971, and now it’s 32. This is a human catastrophe.

Our Lady of Guadalupe - Intercessor of the Unborn

Here is a Spiritual Adoption prayer against abortion I learned years ago and say every day.
(To help stop the anti-life push in the world, the late Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen encouraged the spiritual adoption of an unborn child. This is done by praying that one particular but unknown child's life be spared abortion and be allowed to continue to live. To accomplish this, it was recommended, an individual say the following daily prayer for a period of nine months.)
Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion.
The name I wish to give my baby is .
Jesus may Your peace and your love
embrace the hearts, minds and souls of
the family, friends and loved ones
who encourage this abortion and
lead them all to Your sacred eucharistic heart.
Amen.

LISTEN: Statue vs. Border Wall – A Religious Liberty Issue?

In a
legal battle between the Trump administration and the Las Cruces diocese, the religious-liberty arguments of the diocese would be much more persuasive if they were not couched in blatantly political rhetoric.
The Trump administration wants to seize land by eminent domain to complete a section of the border wall in the New Mexico desert. The conflict arises because the land is part of the Mount Cristo Rey pilgrimage site, where a giant statue of Christ the King stands atop a mountain near that border. The diocese argues that the border wall would be an “affront to religious liberty.”
If the diocese could demonstrate that the wall would inhibit the practice of the Catholic faith, the religious-freedom argument would deserve serious consideration. But instead the diocese contends that the wall itself is “offensive to Catholic values and teachings,” insofar as it is “a physical symbol of the government’s dehumanizing treatment of migrants writ large.” So it seems that …

Canon Lawyer, Professor Michael J. Mazza: “Over 80% of the nation’s priests regularly fear being falsely accused, largely because of the lack of due process they encounter the instant an allegation is made against them. Nearly the same percentage of surveyed priests suggested that their bishop would be one of the LAST people they would ever go to for help if they encountered a problem in their ministry. That is a particularly worrisome attitude given the close bond that is supposed to link bishops and priests in the service of the people of God.”

Opinion: The U.S. bishops missed an opportunity with changes to the “Charter”

Bishop Barry Knestout of Richmond, Virginia, chair of the U.S. bishops’ Committee on the Protection of Children and Young People, proposes revised procedures to address allegations of sexual abuse of minors by Catholic clergy in Orlando, Florida, on June 11, 2026. (Credit: USCCB/YouTube/screenshot)
The internet buzzed after the U.S. bishops consecrated the nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Orlando on Thursday. June 11. Catholic news outlets and bloggers mostly raved enthusiastically, while the secular media propagated slightly more restrained summaries. Even President Trump weighed in, saying the action was a “poignant reminder that America has always been guided by the loving hand of God.”
Kudos to the bishops for turning to God for help in troubling times for this nation. But we would do well to consider the many places in Scripture where the prayers of those who ignore the basic demands of justice are not heard by a Lord who hears the cries of the marginalized and forgotten. …

"Most People Are Choosing Hell" – Fr. Fasching on the Church's Silence on the Last Things

AfD Ban Debated–Again – Allah's Willing Executioners

Germany is once again debating the possibility of banning Alternative for Germany (AfD). This time, the push comes not from a court ruling, nor from a direct government decision, but from an extensive legal report produced by the NGO Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte (GFF). The organisation, whose name (ironically) translates as ‘Society for Civil Rights,’ argues that the party is unconstitutional as per Article 21(2) of Germany’s Basic Law.
The document, presented this week, was immediately used by leaders of the SPD and the Greens as an opportunity to reopen the debate over a ban procedure before the Federal Constitutional Court. The report is based on public sources: speeches, social media posts, party programmes, parliamentary motions, and statements by party officials.
Social Democratic leader Bärbel Bas called for the consideration of “legal steps,” while Green officials demanded progress toward a formal application against the party.
Formally, neither Bas nor the Greens …

THE ‘BLUE PASSAGES’ DOMINATE IN THE SSPX DECLARATION OF FAITH, THE SAME AS IN VATICAN COUNCIL II WHICH IS NOW ECCLESIOCENTRIC AND TRADITIONAL AND NO MORE LIBERAL

THE ‘BLUE PASSAGES’ DOMINATE IN THE SSPX DECLARATION OF FAITH, THE SAME AS IN VATICAN COUNCIL II WHICH IS NOW ECCLESIOCENTRIC AND TRADITIONAL AND NO MORE LIBERAL.
Church Documents interpreted rationally with ' the red not being an exception for the blue ', support the traditionalists and not the liberals and Pope Leo
The section on The Church in the SSPX Profession of Faith is clear. So I can make the blue and red passage distinction. It shows that the blue passages dominate in Vatican Council II and so the text of Vatican Council II is traditional and ecclesiocentric and not liberal.
Vatican Council II is liberal for Pope Leo, the Consistory of Cardinals and the bishops conferences, since they project the red passages as being explicit exceptions for the blue passages. This is irrational and creates schism with the Magisterium of the centuries. We no more have the ecclesiology of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Catherine of Siena or St. Teresa of Avila and St. Ignatius …

"A Madman Can Separate the Gospel from Cultural Husks"

In his May 2026 lecture at the Pontifical Urbaniana University, Cardinal Víctor "Tucho" Fernández said: "Sometimes it takes a madman, desperately in love with his land and his people, capable of separating the Gospel from certain cultural husks that have become attached to it but are not an essential part of its message, and of rereading it in the light of what his people are living today."
Tucho added: "Ultimately, it is the Gospel, written within an ancient culture, that now acquires another 'flesh' in popular rites, venerated images, aphorisms and customs, reflections, ways of living the faith, and in music."
On 25 June, Carlos Daniel Lasa wrote on ElWanderer.com that Tucho's contextual theology displaces Revelation and makes the lived experience of each people the decisive point for theology. Tucho relativises immutable doctrine and reduces theology to historical interpretation.
Lasa's central thesis is even more far-reaching: Pope Francis sought to "refound" the Church, appointed …More

The Apostolic faith speaks to the eternal essence of God and the unchanging struggle of humans which is resolved by the timeless sacrifice on Calvary. Tucho claims that what he doesn't like in the Apostolic faith are cultural accretions. He is wrong. Lace, the mitre, and even his red zucchetto are cultural accretions. The seven deadly sins and sins which cry out to Heaven for vengeance are as fundamental to salvation as DNA is to life. This may be painful for Tucho. My heart goes out to him. But salvation comes from taking up your cross and requires sacrifice of your own preferences for the sake of Christ.

Monk Disappeared from Former FSSPX Benedictine Monastery in France

A monk from the traditional Benedictine monastery of Notre-Dame de Bellaigue in Virlet, central France, has disappeared without a trace.
The monk was reported missing on Wednesday morning, prompting a major search operation by the French Gendarmerie.
Ground teams and aerial units have searched the area around the remote monastery, but after two days no trace of the missing religious has been found.
The search for the missing monk is ongoing.
Authorities have not disclosed the circumstances of the disappearance, and investigators have not indicated whether they suspect an accident, a voluntary departure, or criminal involvement.
According to LaMontagne.fr, two monks cautiously suggested that the missing brother may not have left the monastery of his own accord.
Notre-Dame de Bellaigue is an independent Benedictine monastery that celebrates the Mass in the Roman Rite. It maintained close ties with the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) until 2019. Since then, the monastery has …More
