Fr. Thomas King is the subject of a sexual abuse report produced at the request of the University of Notre Dame. In 2007, Fr. Thomas King joined St. Mark Catholic Church in Niles, a parish of the Diocese of Kalamazoo. He transitioned to the role of pastor in 2008, per the report. Investigators spoke to a former parishioner who told them he met King in confession and King asked him to visit him in his office at the rectory. At the meeting, King instructed the parishioner to remove his shirt, the report allegations state. King allegedly circled the parishioner, spraying his bare chest, face and back with holy water.
