On August 17, Saint Mary’s College in Indiana, a Catholic women’s college sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Cross, published new details about PROCLAIM, a 22-month program training Catholic women to preach. The organizers say they “invited and received the support” of Bishop Kevin Rhoades of Fort Wayne–South Bend - considered "conservative". The first cohort has 27 women, who gathered in June for their first in-person intensive. The program received a $1.25 million grant from Lilly Endowment, a private philanthropic foundation, and provides courses, coaching, preaching circles and practical preaching exercises.

Saint Mary’s College Hosts Women’s Preaching Conference In “Conservative” Bishop’s Diocese

Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana — a sister school of the University of Notre Dame — seems to be fully on board with preparatory indoctrination for the next phase of the postconciliar religion. According to the college’s own website, it recently welcomed 27 women for the first summer intensive of PROCLAIM, a 22-month formation program intended to develop Catholic women as “ministers of the Word and preachers in settings permitted by the Catholic Church.” While claiming to operate within the boundaries of Canon Law, the initiative seems to be an open indication of the direction in which the postconciliar Church is going: a case of “changing hearts,” to borrow Leo XIV’s language, in order to later change dogmas, doctrine, and disciplines. The fact that the college’s own article states that the event’s organizers “invited and received the support” of the supposedly conservative Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades, Bishop of Fort Wayne-South Bend is evidence that this program is not merely …

In a statement on Thursday, the agency said it had detained a Russian national who worked for an organization contracted to protect the British Embassy in Moscow. The man collected sensitive information about embassy security on instructions from a Ukrainian contact, as well as personal data on diplomatic personnel, including photographs, home addresses, details of vehicles, and itineraries, the FSB said. “The Kiev regime planned to carry out sabotage and terrorist attacks against British diplomatic representatives in Moscow to subsequently blame Russia for them in order to draw the United Kingdom into direct …

As He Backs ICE Crackdown, Nebraska Governor Employs Undocumented Workers

This time around, Mr. Pillen, who is seeking re-election this fall, won President Trump’s endorsement. The governor — who had rarely spoken out about immigration issues until last year …More

Cardinal Burke told the harsh truth: what happened in Sodom is happening again. The days of Noah too. Only now it has laws, doctors, and a flag. Not “things are bad.” Not “culture is changing.” The same pattern. God looked at the world before the flood and saw people violating the way He made them. Male and female. Marriage. The body. The family. Burke named the modern version without flinching. Transgenderism. Surgeries that mutilate the body to match an idea. Sexual relationships that break the bond of marriage. Evil getting praised as if it were good. Human life is inviolable. Sex is for the union of man and woman and the family. God is to be worshiped in spirit and in truth.

Renzo Pegoraro, Leo XIV-appointed President of the Pontifical Academy for Life, has doubled down on his mad position on assisted suicide. Following his Avvenire interview, Monsignor Pegoraro told Corriere.it that Italy should pursue a national law, calling on political parties to press Parliament for legislation rather than leaving the issue to regional authorities. On the same day, his predecessor, Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, intervened in LaRepubblica.it, saying Parliament should “shoulder its responsibilities” and establish national rules. Archbishop Pegoraro also addressed a Trentino provincial council committee examining an assisted-suicide bill, where he again called for uniform national regulation. LaNuovaBq.it suggests the simultaneous interventions could point to coordinated Italian Church backing for a national assisted-suicide law, possibly involving Italian bishops’ president Cardinal Matteo Zuppi.

Completed in May 2026, the restoration of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill, Nebraska, revived its historic artistic character. Like many churches, its interior was disfigured in the mid-20th century, including the loss of its original apsidal fresco and installation of a monumental crucifix with a faux stained-glass-style backdrop. Conrad Schmitt Studios renewed the interior with stenciling, gold leaf, faux-marbled columns, and a new apsidal mural depicting the Ascension. The project also returned the high altar to prominence.

Home » Architecture » Before and After: St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O’Neill, Nebraska The good folks at Conrad Schmitt Studios recently shared news of a project at St. Patrick Catholic Church in O’Neill, Nebraska that involved bringing the parish back closer to its historical artistic roots. As many will know, many historical parishes were subjected to various changes particularly in the second half of the twentieth century and this particular church was no exception to that trend. Originally the church had various iterations for its apsidal fresco -- something that underwent various changes over the years, before finally being lost altogether, replaced by a monumental crucifix and what would appear to be a faux, stained glass window style frame. From the style, this would appear to have been done sometimes in the 1960's or very early 1970's. Conrad Schmitt was brought in to resurrect some of the detailing that had previously graced this church, including stencilling, gold leafing …

The “Synodality” Enigma. Cardinal Brandmüller Explains How Not to Fall Into Mephistopheles’s Traps | Diakonos.be

(s.m.) There is a word that for years has been rife in discussions in the Church, but on the meaning of which there is not a bit of clarity ; indeed, it is ever less clear as the discussion goes on, started by Francis and left to his successor Leo, complete with a multi-stage synod dedicated to it, underway since 2021 and whose end is yet to be determined. It is the word “synodality.” Which comes from “synod,” an institution dating back to the first centuries of the Church, made up of bishops only, but which today many would like to expand to more members, in the most varied forms, as if the Church were a modern democracy with voting rights for all, even on matters of doctrine. For some time, however, bishops and cardinals have been increasingly calling for clarity to overcome this confusion. And Pope Leo shows that he is taking this into account, seeing how he is stemming the tide. Not by speaking out loud, but by acting. On the one hand, in fact, he is denying the German bishops, …

Very perceptive observation
"As has already been observed, it is precisely in this that one recognizes an ecclesiological neo-Arianism which, while not expressly denying the supernatural character of the Church, more or less ignores it : the Church as social entity."

The Warning

On 7 September, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller addressed the “Tavola di Assisi 2026”: “Islam… is not ashamed of God, it is not ashamed of transcendence, but it proposes an anthropology and a revelation radically different from the Christian ones.” Invoking St Francis of Assisi’s encounter with Sultan al-Malik al-Kamil, Müller rejected the modern portrayal of Francis as a precursor of interreligious dialogue: “Francis did not go to Egypt to open a diplomatic salon and confirm the Sultan in his faith.” Instead, he went convinced that Jesus Christ is the only Savior. For Cardinal Müller, calling Muslims to conversion is “not an act of hostility… on the contrary, it is the highest act of charity.” He also warned that the Christian West is not “simply threatened by external forces, but is being worn down by an internal apostasy.”

Cardinal Burke Discusses Demonic Attacks with Shawn Ryan

The devil attacks those who spread Christian truth, “corrupts the shepherds” of the Church and seeks particularly to destroy the family, Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke told Shawn Ryan in his September 8 podcast.
Ryan is a former Navy SEAL and CIA contractor. He grew up Catholic but never “took Church seriously”. When he left home, he lost faith. In 2025, he called himself a Christian believer. In April 2026, he said, “I consider myself Catholic, but I bounce back and forth between that and non-denominational.”
In the interview with Burke, he said that he had undergone four exorcisms with two different priests after what he described as encounters with demonic entities. He also mentioned a psychedelic experience that he believed had shown him hell.
Ryan described sensationalist disturbances that continued after the exorcisms, including picture frames coming off the walls, unexplained bodily “manifestations” and every smoke alarm and detector in his house repeatedly going off at around 12:45…More
