The ex-synod will not discuss celibacy, the [invalid] ordination of women, or things like that, wrote the CDF's Tucho Fernández on a social media (September 29).
Each of these issues would require a lot of prior study, regional discussions, and then a whole ex-synod or two, he explained.
But he promises that “this could happen next year”, saying that the ex-synod could make a request "to study" such a topic.
Fernández expects that the ex-synod “will not be interesting for the press” and “may sound like a failure or an irrelevant meeting" [like almost everything that comes out of the Vatican].

I hope he is right. If none of that garbage is open for discussion, won't the radical Germans etc. be disappointed. I am sure they will cause trouble. Fernandez didn't mention the talk of "blessings for homos". This "synod" is heretical enough, but if they waste their time discussing how to accomodate LGTBQ's and TRANS, and have them welcome in the Church, they will see parishes empty out even faster than when the "reforms" of Vatican II were implemented.

In his homily, Francis told the cardinals that they should resemble a symphony orchestra: diverse and with varied contributions, but always working towards harmony. Each should play his part but also listen.
This metaphor was meant to shed light on the supposed "synodal character" of the Church. The reality in the Francis Church, torn by an open civil war, is quite the opposite.

I put my faith in the Catholic Identity Conference hosted by those in Pittsburgh Pa, Sept. 29- Oct. 1, which upholds the True Mass and traditions of the faith, rather than this globalist pan-religious ecumenical prayer service in preparation for Francis' synod. All that comes from Hell.......Presbyterians, Methodists, Anglicans, Lutherans speaking and praying in St. Peter's Square.
No wonder the dome of St. Peter's has turned pitch black.

Specifically not to conform to the world but to be transformed by Christ. If you come to the Church a thief, you are to be transformed to have Christ’s generosity. If you come to the church proud, you are to be transformed to have Christ’s humility. If you come to the Church consumed with lust (same sex or otherwise), you are to be transformed to have Christ’s purity. The Church welcomes sinners. That has always been the case. But, the true Church commands that the sin be left in the confessional and a new man join to choir of saints.

Bishop Athanasius Schneider wrote a prayer for the Ex-Synod on September 29 that says that the doctrinal confusion, moral abomination, and liturgical abuse have reached an unprecedented heights.
“Churchmen who have lost the true Faith and have become promoters of a secular globalist agenda, are intent on changing Your truths and commandments, the Divine Constitution of the Church, and the Apostolic tradition”, the prayer continues.
The text warns that the enemies of the Church are imposing “a counterfeit church under the guise of ‘synodality’” and that the Church is “suffering her Golgotha”. Schneider asks God to send angels under the command of St Michael to bring light to Francis and “to frustrate the plans of Your enemies within the synodal assembly.”

Westminster Archdiocese cancelled the annual sung Roman Rite Requiem which was due to take place at Westminster Cathedral on November 4 at 2.30pm. It has been organised by the Latin Mass Society since 1971 (!) when Cardinal Heenan received an indult from Paul VI.
A silent Mass will continue to be celebrated in the Cathedral on the first Saturday of every month at 4pm. These Masses were also introduced in the 1970s.
The sung Requiem will be moved to Corpus Christi Church, Maiden Lane, on November 6. Homosex Eucharists are still very much presided in the archdiocese.
