Refusal could result in the loss of public funding, fines, and even prison sentences for directors. The ECLJ argues that this would constitute a serious violation of freedom of conscience and religion. No other country that has legalized euthanasia imposes such criminal obligations on private institutions.

@SonoftheChurch On one level, I agree wholeheartedly, however, the cherry-picking of cardinals (and likely other voices since it has to be 'ecumenical', 'egalitarian', and whatever other Marxist trope one has to check off) essentially means that the 'fix is in' for the outcomes of these 'dialogues', whereby it becomes a charade. Somewhat as to how, I have come to realize, the Holy Spirit was muzzled and hijacked throughout the Vatican II process but, particularly, post-Vatican II where anything in the documents which went against certain apostates appears to have become entirely 'forgotten' and some of the post-Vatican II justifications for 'change' have been fabricated out of whole cloth. Bergoglio already 'stacked the deck'; Prevost conveniently leaving alternative voices in the hall, 'seals the deal'. May God forgive us for not trusting the Holy Spirit.
