Saint Quentin | The Missionary Who Refused to Deny Jesus | October 31 Would you remain faithful to Jesus Christ even if your faith brought suffering and persecution? Today we remember Saint Quentin, also known as Saint Quentin of Amiens, an early Christian martyr traditionally associated with the spread of Christianity in Roman Gaul. His story is one of missionary courage, perseverance and loyalty to Christ. Although many details of his life come from later Christian traditions, his memory continues to inspire believers to stand firm in their faith. FROM ROME TO GAUL According to tradition, Saint Quentin was a Christian from Rome who travelled to Gaul, the region that includes modern-day France, to proclaim the Gospel. He is often associated with Saint Lucian of Beauvais, another early Christian missionary. Quentin is remembered for preaching the Christian faith in northern Gaul, particularly around Amiens. At a time when Christianity could bring suspicion and persecution, proclaiming …More

After 441 years, the Franciscans say goodbye to Tolosa, Spain. On 25 October, the town of Tolosa witnessed the end of a remarkable chapter in its history. After more than four centuries, the Franciscan friars celebrated their farewell Eucharist at San Francisco Church. The liturgy was led by Bishop Fernando Prado of San Sebastián. The remaining Franciscans will relocate to Zarautz. Throughout their 441 years in Tolosa, the Franciscans played an important role in education, spiritual life, the preservation of the Basque language and local cultural traditions. The historic church and convent are expected to pass into municipal ownership, with plans for cultural and community use. #newsQkqxicfohn
The above is the minor event in the double meaning as post-conciliar Franciscans had thrown away, just after the death of Padre Pio, legacy of the order.
St Augustine People hate the truth for the sake of whatever it is that they love more than the truth. They love truth when it shines warmly on them, and hate it when it rebukes them. St. Augustine of Hippo Why did this happen? Why does GTV have ai as a moderator? Couldn't be processed: Clandestine (@WarClandestine) on X From the same person about the biolabs. And a picture with Putin and someone on his team. Never ends. These people won't be happy till every bit of Truth is wiped from the internet, including social media and where else truth is.
Leo XIV appoints a Jesuit - who defended homosexual "marriage" already in 2008 (!). Today, Pope Leo XIV has appointed Jesuit Fr. Giacomo Costa and Salesian Sr. Elena Massimi as undersecretaries of the General Secretariat of the Synod for five-year terms. Costa replaces Spanish Augustinian Archbishop Luis Marín de San Martín, appointed Prefect of the Dicastery for the Service of Charity in March. Sister Massimi succeeds French Sr. Nathalie Becquart, who had served as undersecretary since February 2021. Cardinal Mario Grech remains Secretary General. Costa defended homosexual “marriages” Fr. Giacomo Costa SJ's involvement in debates over the homosexual civil unions dates back to at least 2008. He was one of seven members of the bioethics study group credited with a June 2008 article in the Jesuit journal Aggiornamenti Sociali, titled “Recognizing Same-Sex Unions? A Contribution to the Discussion”. Costa was then managing editor of the journal. The study argued that legal recognition of …More
Delegations from 48 African countries, including 22 heads of state, attended the Russia-Africa summit. The West, especially France, tried to stop them. Putin offered grain, energy, and technology, and accused the West of colonial thinking. Aktuell360 (Antiilluminaten TV)
How people hate Putin for his goodness and kindness and humility. It really bothers them so much. Here is France in ruins and fire. Overwhelmed with invaders. One person from Africa said, we asked for help. France came and looked around and left. The US said or did nothing for them either. Everyone laughed and ignored them. Many Catholics were murdered and killed. Putin asked if they could help. They welcomed the only man and country who would. A man and country who couldn't stand by watching so many people die at the hands of the terrorist. So he sent in tens of thousands of tons of grain. Gave them weapons. Taught them how to use it. Taught them how to fight and defend themselves. For decades Putin has asked Europe and US to help him destroy the terrorists. The same people who made them of course has always ignored him. But it's Putin and Russia who is hated and attacked. Now that's what you call brainwashed and duped. And no doubt a hater.
Leo XIV met Costa Rica’s president, gloriously veiled - or, as some might say, "divisively" so. Pope Leo XIV received Costa Rica’s Catholic President Laura Fernández Delgado in an audience on October 29. She presented Pope Leo XIV with a replica of Our Lady of the Angels, Costa Rica’s patroness. Two days earlier, on October 27, Cardinal Roche’s dicastery had warned that women wearing veils at Mass risk creating division and confusion within the Church. Costa Rica's right-wing president began her presidency with a public profession of faith. On May 9, 2026, one day after taking office, she attended Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels in Cartago. #newsHlivqetqqc
Prevost theology just read Martini Theological soup we are now experiencing from obedient Vatican II disciple Cardinal Martini. In 1996, Martini was presented with an honorary doctorate from the Russian Academy of Sciences. In Spain in October 2000, he was awarded the Prince of Asturias Award for Social Sciences.[7] Martini was admitted as a member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences in November 2000. Homosexuality In his book Credere e conoscere, published shortly before his death, Martini stated: "I disagree with the positions of those in the Church that take issue with civil unions ... It is not bad, instead of casual sex between men, that two people have a certain stability" and that the "state could recognize them". Although he stated his belief that "the homosexual couple, as such, can never be totally equated to a marriage", he also said that he could understand (although not necessarily approve of) gay pride parades when they support the need for self-affirmation
To God, I Pray. "In Memoriam" Following the terrible railway accident that occurred on Castilian soil on 28 October 2026, claiming the lives of dozens of people of different nationalities and plunging Spain into three days of national mourning, I ask God to bring comfort to those grieving the loss of their loved ones. Death in tragic and preventable circumstances inevitably brings heartbreak and desolation to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives, to their colleagues and to all who knew them. Claiming victims of every age and walk of life, death is the great leveller, merciless and indifferent to all distinctions. Yet death does not have the final word. Death has been conquered, once and for all, by the God who sees everything and overlooks nothing. The great mystery, however, remains. And with the boldness of the great Teresa of Ávila, we can only turn to God and ask: Why, Lord, do you allow evil? Beyond Death, time and space dissolve for those who cross that …More
Cardinal Víctor “Tucho” Fernández will not accompany Pope Leo XIV on his upcoming visit to South America, including Fernández’s native Argentina. In an interview with Vida Nueva on October 29, Fernández explained that he would prefer not to go because the trip is too long and he has pressing matters to attend to. He gave the lame excuse that he dislikes being away from work for more than five days and plans to visit Argentina separately shortly afterward. Curiously, Fernández stressed that the central figure of the visit would be “not even Pope Francis, but Pope Leo meeting with his people.” Fernández also revealed that he had met with Leo XIV in a private audience on October 29. He reported that the Pope was in “excellent shape” following his cancer surgery and said he left the meeting completely reassured about his health, confident that “we can continue to look forward to a long pontificate.” He added that Leo was “redoubling his initiative” in addressing challenges. Meanwhile, …More
U.S. Senator Chris Murphy says the new plan for attacking Iran is catastrophic: “During one of the intelligence briefings, we had the opportunity to have a fairly detailed discussion about the war plan, and no doubt you have heard that it will be short-term. I will just say this: their plan is insane, and it will lead to a catastrophic escalation, and perhaps to undermining our commitment to the rule of law. The civilian infrastructure that we might target will prolong and escalate the war, which will have devastating consequences for our security interests.” megatron_ron
Everything we have been told about the war is a lie. The only truth is that innocent people are killed and the super rich and powerful are profiting from the suffering, destruction and violence.
