The International Theological Commission's new document presents panentheism as an 'interpretive framework' for understanding God as 'intimately present in every aspect of reality'. The history class “The Catholic Intellectual Tradition” has become one of Yale’s most popular courses. Last spring, it attracted 85 students - up from just 13 a decade ago. The course explores two millennia of Catholic thought, from early Christianity and medieval mysticism to debates about war, philosophy and modern life.
