Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ - July 1
Memorial
1 July
formerly 1st Sunday in July
Friday after the fourth Sunday of Lent on some calendars
Article
Celebrates the Blood of Our Saviour, shed for the redemption of mankind, mentioned repeatedly in the New Testament. Since the Council of Trent theologians generally hold that it was an essential part of the Sacred Humanity and consequently hypostatically united to the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity and therefore an object of adoration. Although special honour was bestowed upon it by the Apostles and Fathers and many saints, yet a feast in its honour was not celebrated till the beginning of the 19th century, when Saint Gaspare del Bufalo obtained permission to have it celebrated in the Missionary Society of the Precious Blood. Pope Blessed Pius IX extended the feast to the entire Church in 1849. There has been an arch-confraternity of the Precious Blood since 1815.

Cardinal Raymond Burke argued that ‘ordaining bishops without a papal mandate will incur’ an automatic ‘excommunication, and that will have to be published by the Holy See.’

EXCLUSIVE: Cardinal Burke on the Consistory and SSPX consecrations

VATICAN CITY (PerMariam) — Cardinal Raymond Burke has given his assessment of the recent Extraordinary Consistory along with the upcoming episcopal consecrations of the Society of Saint Pius X, noting some remaining concerns about the consistory format, while lamenting the planed consecrations.
Speaking with Per Mariam following the recent consistory, Cdl. Burke offered a summary of the event which drew just under 180 cardinals to Rome for the second such meeting of Leo XIV’s pontificate. As many have similarly done, Burke welcomed the return of consistory’s to the Vatican’s regular life, since it offers a chance to “discuss important questions with regard to the Church.”
But he also raised his concerns about the small table “synodal” group method which has largely replaced the traditional open discussion. As for synodality itself, on which the cardinals were briefed during Saturday’s meeting, the American prelate said that it “remains unresolved.”
“There really needs to be a …

Stand Firm When Darkness Seems Victorious
The apostles, like St. Peter and St. Paul, faced immense suffering and imprisonment for their faith, yet remained faithful and joyful. Their example teaches us to view our struggles as opportunities to grow in faith and charity, rather than as reasons to abandon God. By learning to handle our current challenges with grace, we prepare ourselves for greater trials and can ultimately say, “I have competed well, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

Italian Bishops Commit to Interfaith State Religion. Worse than Germany: On 25 June, the Italian Bishops' Conference signed an interfaith agreement titled "The Italian Way of Dialogue: Religions in the Public Sphere and for Social Cohesion" together with representatives of Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Baháʼí and other religious communities. After the signing, the signatories met President Sergio Mattarella at the Quirinale Palace to present him with a copy of the pact. He welcomed the initiative as a contribution to dialogue and social cohesion.

Profile
Entered the Franciscan University at Palma, Spain at age 15, and joined the Order at age 17, taking the name Junipero after the friend of Saint Francis. Ordained in 1737, and taught philosophy and theology at the Lullian University.
In 1749, Serra was sent to the missionary territories of the west of North America. A mosquito bite he received early in his trip to the New World left one leg swollen; this and his asthma made walking a painful process for the rest of his life. In 1768 he took over missions in the Mexican provinces of Lower and Upper California, missions the Jesuits were forced to abandon by order of King Charles III. A tireless worker, Serra was largely responsible for the foundation and spread of the Church on the West Coast of the United States. Founded twenty-one missions, converted thousands of Native …More

A Sacred Communion: New Archbishops Receive Pallium from Pope | Shalom World News
On the Solemnity of the Apostles, Saints Peter and Paul, Pope Leo XIV celebrated a solemn Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. During the Mass, the Holy Father blessed the Sacred Pallium and imposed them on the newly appointed Archbishops. The Pallium, sacred woolen vestment adorned with crosses, is one of the Church's most profound signs of communion between the Pope and the Archbishops of the universal Church.

Fatima: the most urgent Consecration - Pax Orbis

As the episcopal consecrations draw near, we are reminded of another, even more urgent and vital Consecration, the absence of which could be said to necessitate these extraordinary actions of the Society of Saint Pius X. That is, it is necessary for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as instructed by Our Lord and Our Lady during the Fatima apparitions.
SOURCE
Archbishop Lefebvre on Fatima
Archbishop Lefebvre himself drew a connection between the message of Fatima and his decision to perform the initial episcopal consecrations in 1988. The previous year, on June 29th, he had written with regard to the unpublished portion of the Fatima secret:
“They have not wanted to reveal her secret. They have buried the message of the Virgin Mary. Without a doubt this message was supposed to prevent what is happening today. If her message had been known, it is very probable that we would not have gone so far and that the situation in Rome would not be what it is today. The …

"Our august Lady replied: ‘‘The great God comes not into the world to find riches, for He needs them not; for them would He not descend from heaven. He comes on earth only to repair the disorders of the world, and by sure ways to conduct it to eternal life; and these ways are none other than humility and poverty."

‘Admirable Life Of Patriarch Saint Joseph’ by Venerable Mary of Agreda; Chapter VI; ‘MODE OF LIFE OF THE AUGUST MARY …’; part II; pages 108-111

[Venerable Mary of Agreda – XVII Century AD; born/died: Agreda, Spain; Mystic; Writer; ‘Blue Nun’]
St. Joseph never saw his holy spouse asleep. He did not know, from his own experience, whether she slept at all. Her place of rest was the little bed made by the saint. It had . two coverings, between which she was accustomed to place herself to take a brief and light repose.
The under garment of the august Mary was a tunic or chemise, but little softer than woolen stuff. She never left it off, except when it was worn, nor soiled it, and no one in the world saw it, not even St. Joseph. In all her works, and in whatever she did for St. Joseph, the greatest cleanliness was observed.
Before St. Joseph was informed of the mystery of the Incarnation, our blessed Lady, at certain times when he was not occupied, used to read to him from the Holy Scriptures, particularly from David and the Prophets. She explained them like an experienced instructress, and her holy spouse questioned her on many …More

President Trump reaped a stunning windfall in his first year back in the White House, including about $1.4 billion from his family’s cryptocurrency businesses, a new filing shows.
All told, the president pulled in at least $2.2 billion, a figure that includes other parts of his vast holdings, such as his real estate assets. That compares to a minimum of $622 million his enterprises pulled in for all of 2024, …More

Friday, 4th July 1913 Effort Will Be Made to Free Newt Lee
Friday, July 4, 1913
Attorney Chappell Declares Belief That Lee Has No Knowledge of Guilty Parties.
An early effort is likely to be made to free Newt Lee, the negro night watchman who discovered the body of Mary Phagan, and who has since been held for suspected complicity in the crime.
This is intimated in a statement issued by the negro's counsel, Bernard L. Chappell, who says he has arrived at the conclusion that his client knows absolutely nothing about the murder, except his grewsome discovery.
Lee was not indicted, although his name was submitted before the grand jury at the same time action was taken against Leo Frank. No amount of cross-examination can break his story in any respect, and he has told the same straightforward tale throughout imprisonment.

Brussels Moves To Shut Down Europe’s Biggest Anti-Migration Campaign – Allah's Willing Executioners

Eva Vlaardingerbroek
Eva Vlaardingerbroek on X
Campaigners behind the ‘
Save Europe Act’ say the European Commission is preparing to reject their European Citizens’ Initiative after receiving a letter warning that its proposals appear to violate the European Union’s fundamental rights and values.
In a video published on Tuesday, June 30th, the initiators of the act—Dutch conservative commentator Eva Vlaardingerbroek and Austrian identitarian activist Martin Sellner—said they had received a letter from the European Commission, warning them that the Save Europe Act appears to be “manifestly contrary” to the Charter of Fundamental Rights and the EU’s “values.”
The Commission also stated that the initiative’s proposed moratorium on “non-Western” immigration and its stated objective of protecting the “ethnic and cultural continuity” of Europe’s native peoples would amount to discrimination on the grounds of race or ethnic origin.
According to Eva Vlaardingerbroek, the letter is “the …

The SSPX Professes the Catholic Faith and Rome Calls It Schism
Menzingen gives Leo XIV a Catholic profession of faith. Leo answers through threats, Vatican II loyalty tests, and Cardinal Fernández.
The SSPX Places Catholic Tradition on the Table
The Society of Saint Pius X sent Leo XIV and the cardinals
a profession of Catholic faith on the eve of the consistory and days before the July 1 episcopal consecrations at Écône.
The document is devastating because it does not sound like a factional manifesto. It sounds like the Catholic Church before the council remembered how to speak.
It begins with divine revelation, the supernatural order, the Trinity, original sin, the Incarnation, Redemption, Mary, the Church, the papacy, moral law, the Social Kingship of Christ, the sacraments, the Mass, the last things, and the modern crisis.
That is precisely why Rome finds it intolerable.
The SSPX does not ask for a liturgical boutique. It does not say, “Please let us have our preferred spirituality …

Jeffrey Ade

"This is the rotten comedy of the age." Occult mockery at its finest! And to say," They refuse certain fundamental elements of the Church, beginning with several points of the Second Vatican Council." Is an outright lie! And also the writer says, " The SSPX profession says exactly that." I didn't read that in the profession so I think the writer is way off base making that assertion. V2 isn't the problem or nexus. It is the errors of Russia, and Archbishop Lefebvre knew that!
