In many things JPII did error after error, but so did Peter the 1st pope, Peter did repent and JPII, if he ever did (because we never knew publicly), only God knows. I, despite that, love him and Benedict XVI as well, they couldn't stop the chaff, they let the false Church take over. Hopefully theyve found contriction and absolution.
