The former news agency APNews.com published on May 1 a description of the U.S. Church written by a certain Tim Sullivan. Pay attention to the propagandistic tune of the article [corrected with the expressions in brackets]. Quotes.
• “Across the U.S., the Catholic Church is undergoing an immense shift. Generations of Catholics who embraced the modernising tide [=secularisation] sparked in the 1960s by Vatican II are increasingly giving way to religious conservatives [he means: people who love the Church] who believe [he means: who understand] the church has been twisted by change, with the promise of eternal salvation replaced by guitar Masses, parish-food and casual indifference to church doctrine.”
• “The shift, moulded by plummeting church attendance, increasingly traditional [=Catholic] priests and growing numbers of young Catholics searching for more orthodoxy, has reshaped parishes across the country, leaving them sometimes at odds with Francis and much of the [ex]-Catholic world.” …More

Source: 'A step back in time': America's Catholic Church sees an immense shift toward the old ways
Funny to illustrate a story called “a step back in time” with a shot inside St. Benedict’s Abbey (Atchison, Ks), which is not trad at all, but is probably from the 60s and has a ceiling that looks like it is made of Lego.

How to imitate St. Joseph by becoming a mentor
On 05/01/24
Many young people today find it difficult to cope with life's problems. They need caring adults who are willing to mentor them in imitation of St. Joseph.

On this date 2,000 years ago, Jesus would have been in his early- to mid-20s. We don’t know much about his life in Nazareth during that period, but we can certainly say that he was raised well in a loving family.
I like to imagine how Jesus learned to be a builder under Joseph’s guidance during these hidden years, learning how to flatten and plane lumber, how to make precise measurements at a building site, etc. Joseph would have taught Jesus other life skills, too, like how to negotiate with dishonest merchants or deal with difficult clients. Mostly, though, I imagine the young Jesus spent a lot of time just soaking in Joseph’s affection, which reflected his heavenly Father’s love. Jesus’ relationship with Joseph played an important part in how he looked at and treated other …More

Things that will never be explained to you at school or in high school.
Banks create money out of nothing, the loans that banks make inject money into the financial system.
Money should be a measure of a country's productive economy, it is the economy's blood flow.
Injecting non-productive, but speculative money generates inflation.
We are in a perpetual crisis, but the stock market does not stop rising, institutions borrow that money to speculate.
The little friends of the central banks print money that then the big funds borrow at low interest to speculate while your money is worth less and less.

Inyectar dinero no productivo, sino especulativo, genera inflación.

Note that this new conciliar religion has its own altar, set in opposition to the Catholic altar behind it, which it blocks. The new “Mass” and its new “priests” (?) are the “abomination of desolation standing in the holy place” spoken of by Daniel.

This article seems more like a hit piece on Brand due to his vaccine stance than a true criticism of the man. Certainly, he must be sorry for his former life, but that does not mean that he must confess his sins, either publicly or privately in order to receive the grace of Baptism.

1. to recognise that all good comes from God. If there by any good in you at all, it comes from God. So if you do, think or say anything good, know for certain that this proceeds from God.
2. to recognise that all good comes to us through grace. If you have any good from God, if you have any at all, you did not obtain it by yourself, but by grace and the mercy of God. All the good you have from God is not from your own works, but from the mercy of God.
3. to see the virtues of others and to be blind to one’s own. There are many who know that all good comes from God and through His grace, but think that they are more blessed than others. They are full of themselves, and are like the pharisees.
4. to recognise one’s own faults. We must not only realise that we are lacking in good, but that we are full of self-love, bad inclinations, and passions, and that we have sinned greatly. 'Who art Thou, my God, and who am I?', questioned St. Francis. We are nothing.
5. to see oneself as the vilest …More
