La célébration de la messe avait été organisée en l'église Saint-Charles, desservie par les Oblat de Saint-François-de-Sales, dont fait partie le Père Penzo, qui en fut longtemps le curé. C'est Monseigneur David qui prononça l'homélie. Après quelques paroles du Père Penzo, tous furent heureux de se retrouver pour un moment de convivialité.
