There is alignment, or at least tacit sympathy, between the Transalpine Redemptorists in Scotland and Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, an anonymous priest of the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X (FSSPX) told TheCatholicHerald.com on 2 November. The priest doubts that they will try to work with the FSSPX, saying: "I think they have gone full sedevacantist. They used to be prior to their reconciliation in 2007." In a statement on 16 October, Monsignor Viganò praised the community for distancing themselves from the Church the previous day. He added that he offered the community "full support", whatever that may mean. On 24 October, the Bishop Hugh Gilbert of Aberdeen stated that the Redemptorists' declaration was "incompatible with the Catholic sense of the Church's unity". He added that the Holy See was examining the matter. #newsVazwvbzsqk
“In a statement on 16 October, Monsignor Viganò praised the community for distancing themselves from the Church the previous day.“ No. Not the Church. The Synodal Church. One of these is Catholic, the other is nothing else than the synthesis of all heresies.
They stated: “We repudiate the Synodal Church as distinct from the Divinely constituted Catholic Church.” This understanding is consistent with what Monsignor Lefebvre called for: “It is, therefore, a strict duty for every priest wanting to remain Catholic to separate himself from this Conciliar Church”; "It is a question of the radical incompatibility between the Catholic Church and the Conciliar Church"; “this Council represents... a new church which they call themselves the ‘Conciliar Church"; "Conciliar Church is a schismatic Church"; “The Church that affirms such errors is at once schismatic and heretical. This Conciliar Church is, therefore, not Catholic".

On Thursday evening, Cardinal Gerhard Müller gave a wide-ranging interview to EWTN.com. Main points: - I heard from some bishops that Catholics who do not want the newer form of the liturgy can either remain at home or go to the Lefebvrians [FSSPX]. - A plurality in the liturgy does not split the Church, the 'blessing' of homosexual couples does. It relativises the sacrament of marriage, which is a revealed truth. - The Church Fathers acknowledged that there was some truth in philosophy, but never in pagan Greek or Roman religions. They never accepted the old religions. - Different religions have different understandings of peace, liberty, and the dignity of the person. We cannot mix them. We are not fratelli tutti (all brothers). - It goes against the Catholic faith that women could receive the Sacrament of Holy Orders in a certain time. Only men can become bishops, priests or deacons. - Transgender is absolutely impossible. It contradicts Revelation. God created man and woman, male …Sateruse
Since 2016, around 100,000 Canadians have been killed through euthanasia, officially labelled MAiD (medical assistance in dying). Introduced under the pretext of "rare cases", the definition has been broadened to encompass non-terminal conditions and, soon, mental illness. MAiD House, which has charitable status, opened its first euthanasia facility in Toronto in 2021 and a second site in Victoria, British Columbia, in 2024. In 2023, MAiD deaths (16,000) accounted for around 5% of all deaths in Canada (325,000).
Recently the very popular Canadian children's writer Robert Munsch just got the go ahead to be killed. He was diagnosed with dementia. He tried to make a joke of the whole thing by saying, "My application consisted of 'Hello Doc, come and kill me' and added, "How much time do I have? 15 seconds.'" Nobody is laughing.
Letter to the Romans 11,29-36. Brothers and sisters: The gifts and the call of God are irrevocable. Just as you once disobeyed God but have now received mercy because of their disobedience, so they have now disobeyed in order that, by virtue of the mercy shown to you, they too may (now) receive mercy. For God delivered all to disobedience, that he might have mercy upon all. Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How inscrutable are his judgments and how unsearchable his ways! "For who has known the mind of the Lord or who has been his counselor?" "Or who has given him anything that he may be repaid?" For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen. Psalms 69(68),30-31.33-34.36-37. I am afflicted and in pain; let your saving help, O God, protect me. I will praise the name of God in song, and I will glorify him with thanksgiving. “See, you lowly ones, and be glad; you who seek God, may your hearts revive! For the LORD hears the …Sateruse

In this passage from his work Moralia (on the Book of Job), Pope St. Gregory the Great teaches that all who die as unbelievers and without the sacraments of the Church are not saved. Like other saints who address this matter, as part of his exposition he cites John 3 about how one who does not believe is already condemned. Pope St. Gregory the Great, Moralia, Book 26, Chap. 27 (#50): “Of whom the Prophet says, The ungodly do not rise again in the judgment. [Ps. 1:5] And of whom the Lord declares, But he who does not believe is already condemned. [John 3:18] And of whom Paul says, They who have sinned without the Law, shall perish without the Law. [Rom. 2:12] Therefore even all unbelievers rise again, but to torment and not to judgment. For their case is not then examined; because they come into the presence of their strict Judge, with the condemnation already of their own unbelief. But those, who retain their profession of faith, but have not works in accordance with it, are …Sateruse
