Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, who postponed his trip to Rome two weeks ago in the midst of the ongoing war on Gaza, took possession of Sant'Onofrio's, his titular church in Rome, on 1 May.
This church is home to the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre. It was packed. In his homily, the Cardinal said that people could not wait for the US to resolve the war in Gaza:
"These are difficult moments, but they are also moments of hope, because perhaps something is moving in the current negotiations, hopefully. We must never give up. In any case, the situation remains very dramatic, serious and difficult. In addition to the military problems, which exist and are serious, there is the humanitarian problem in Gaza."

Jesus Loves us, he doesn’t force anyone and he sets us free. Jesus accepts what we want and he will not give more than we ask. Freely, if our request is not precise, we risk finding ourselves with very little.
Sometimes we ask, but we don’t believe in it. Sometimes we want to follow Christ, but there are too many things or people who hold us back, or we aren’t vigilant enough.
Sometimes the Lord will take his time, because we are not in a hurry to change lanes. Sometimes asking something from the Lord will lead us where we would not want to go. It helps us to grow in faith because we have to learn to adjust to God as true disciples. Let’s check carefully whether our requests really lead us to the house of the Father, through the Son, in the Spirit.
God can do anything and everything is offered to us. But it is still necessary that we accept what comes from him. When the priest says, at the beginning of Mass: “The Lord be with you,” the Lord is already with us, but he always leaves us …More

Note that this new conciliar religion has its own altar, set in opposition to the Catholic altar behind it, which it blocks. The new “Mass” and its new “priests” (?) are the “abomination of desolation standing in the holy place” spoken of by Daniel.

1. to recognise that all good comes from God. If there by any good in you at all, it comes from God. So if you do, think or say anything good, know for certain that this proceeds from God.
2. to recognise that all good comes to us through grace. If you have any good from God, if you have any at all, you did not obtain it by yourself, but by grace and the mercy of God. All the good you have from God is not from your own works, but from the mercy of God.
3. to see the virtues of others and to be blind to one’s own. There are many who know that all good comes from God and through His grace, but think that they are more blessed than others. They are full of themselves, and are like the pharisees.
4. to recognise one’s own faults. We must not only realise that we are lacking in good, but that we are full of self-love, bad inclinations, and passions, and that we have sinned greatly. 'Who art Thou, my God, and who am I?', questioned St. Francis. We are nothing.
5. to see oneself as the vilest …More
